We stayed here during my birthday and I had a great time. They even gave me a complimentary cake. The room was spacious and well-equipped with complete amenities. I loved the view from our room (we were upgraded to a sea view). The staff were very helpful and accommodating making our stay even more enjoyable. I also enjoyed their breakfast which had a wide variety of choices, from local dishes to international favorites. Their pastries and bread were especially delicious. I will surely come back!

We stayed last Feb 1-2 and it was by amazing one of our best stays! It was my husband's company Anniversary and we opted to stay as well. The food, and our room was great! we had an amazing view of the city.
Life guard Paulo Canas also assisted us, especially our kids during their swimming. Thank you so much for the kind and warm customer service Kuya Paulo.

The food and service at the buffet truly lived up to the hype that it’s Cebu’s best buffet. The place is very clean, with many dishes from different cultures to sample from. Alexis Bernabe, the outlet manager, provided my family and I with amazing service and helped contribute to our very satisfying experience. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to experience the best that Cebu can offer.

New hotel, clean room, beautiful view of the beach. Modern design yet elegant, so fresh, good location, accessible too. Luxe amenities and supplies, good service. I had the most longest breakfast buffet spread here. We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful hotel. Night time we went to Mott22 which was there too. They had cocktails and we tried the duck, it was the best. The outdoor part also had a nice view of the lights in the beach.

I only visited the large semi impressive casino .. for the second time
This time I did much better than last time
There are plenty of slots & game table to try out
Nustar Casino is the newest & cleanest casino on Cebu - including Mactan

For a 5-star hotel, it's more of a 2-star quality. 2 hr wait to get checked in when we made a reservation over 2 months ago. Couldn't get approved for rewards in the casino, so we take our money elsewhere. Then we found out we had to have reservation to attend the fireworks display. None of this was provided after making reservation. I booked directly thru Nustar site instead of 3rd party and was provided nothing. At least 3rd party sites made sure guests had options for events. 1/10 will never come back again.

I loved our stay at Fili Nustar. The pillows are the fluffiest, my kids are nonstop swimming. From the bath tub pool to the big pool at 5th floor plus the exclusivity of the pools at the 4th floor. I like that there is a Nespresso included in the amenities my ☕️💜 is happy. The staff were amazing, so warm and accommodating especially the Manager named Jill. We loved all her recommendations, very pretty and professional. Buffet superb. We will be back for more vacations here.

Nice building and the interior is well appointed. However, the casino is small with a limited selection of games and machines. The security at this casino goes way overboard to hassle you if you take selfies even when you're not playing or close to any table or machine! So beware of that because they can definitely ruin the mood.

The Pros: Lovely house-keeping staffs/ clean hotel/great food at the Fili dining area located at the 4th floor.
CONS: Duane needs to improve how he can satisfy his customers as he wasnt helpful when we already got the booking reference and early check in advised but refused to check us in/ Room 516 has leaked in the bathroom ,one of us nearly slip/ the aircon is broken as it blows hot air even after they fixed it on our first night/ keycard malfunctioned several times during our stay, we had to go to the reception every day to get it fix.
In summary, we were super excited as it was our first time in Nustar but the overall experience turns out to be a disappointment.
