Stayed here with a couple of friends last March (but only reviewing now). Because I got to the hotel much earlier than the check-in time, there were still guests in the room that was reserved for me and my friends (they were arriving much later that day). The staff and the guard were kind enough to let me put my luggage in their storage area so I could go around the city until it was time I could go into the room. They even gave me a free bottle of mineral water. PROS: > The room was quite spacious for its price (there were 5 of us and the room cost P1,500 so individually, we paid P300/night). > Good wifi. Then again, we stayed at the ground floor so it was close to the front desk's modem. > The pillows, towels, and linens were clean and new. The bathroom had hot and cold

My friends had vacation last month in Cebu and Bohol. We stayed at Robes for 2 nights before we went to Bohol. The place was very accessible to public transportation and near to malls and tourist spots. The staff was kind enough to show us directions and what transportation to take. The room was spacious and clean. They don't have elevator but the staff was their to help carry our luggages. We would really stay here again when we go back to Cebu.

This is the very first pension house that has no black coffee. I need black coffee in the morning to wake up. They have only nescafe 3 in 1. Very strange. Also weird is the fact that there is hardly any personnel, only a receptionist and a guard. The guard does everything, including bringing luggage to the rooms and serving rooms with food and drinks. It's kind of scary when there's suddenly a guy with a gun in front of your door, serving the guests. It's also bad for security because, while he is serving people, there is no security guard at the hotel entrance. Last but not least, this venue is surrounded and even penetrated by scary looking guys full of tattoos. They are sitting in front of the hotel and in the lobby. No idea what these people are doing there.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED if you are really on a tight budget. Cheap yet a good find for our overnight stay. We just had a problem with the hot shower which didn't work during our stay. Front desk staff looks tired when we arrived. But our overall impression with the room is very good-bed, cr, aircon, tables with glasses, phone, tv, are ok. Will definitely recommended Robe's for my friends.

My friends and i stayed here for one week and we were so glad we found a place that is clean and very nice. The staffs are trustworthy. We had an overnight stay in Bohol and we didnt bring all our luggages. We only brought the carry-ons and the luggage stayed at the pension house. We were praying that no items would be lost. As we came back from Bohol all our things even our trash were exactly on the same place just as we left them. Kudos to the staffs! Robes is near to plenty of cafeterias or "carenderias" where you can have your meal if your in a tight budget. There are some laundry shops if you want your clothes to be cleaned after beach swimming.hehe. And bake shops as well. If im not mistaken the bake shops are open 24hrs if you want a very early breakfast for those who

I find the Philippines has high prices for their hotels, so I was very interested to see 700 pesos per night for this pension house. I stayed for 3 nights on the 4th floor for 700 pesos per night with cold shower, the room was small and quite basic, but new and clean, It is also located not so far fro Mango Square. My only problem was the internet, the wifi is very slow and also breaks off and on a times (even though the router was right outside my room), this is no good for the business traveler or someone who relies on the internet like me. I did speak to the receptionist about this and she told me she knew it was slow. I would recommend they change the wifi operator.

We stayed at the triple room for 900 plus 1 extra person for 1150. Room was spacious and has all the basic amenities with hot and cold shower. If you're planning to go to Bohol and stay overnight in Bohol you can leave your luggage with them for free. However wifi signal inside the room is very weak. Also they don't have elevators.

New place with spacious rooms. We stayed here for 3 nights. The staff was very accommodating and nice to us. It is hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the city but it is near enough that you can walk to Fuente Osmena. You can also find jeeps nearby that can help you get to Downtown Cebu.

We had a room on the second floor, we paid 800 for a deluxe room and for that amount we had cable, a very clean room, hot shower and a very strong wifi signal. I just love how affordable Robe's Pension House is. It's situated in the city so you can immediately get a cab and stroll. Would definitely choose to stay here again.
