Wonderful location near Ayala Cebu! Loved the simple design, historical writings, and Cebuano Bible. Hospitable staff! A quieter AC, closed curtains, and visible mineral water would improve the stay. :)

I came here mid-trip after my other hotel (review on here) was a nightmare, and this hotel was only a block away, and oh I'm so glad I moved, this hotel in my currency, (GB Pounds) worked out at £10 roughly more a night than my original choice, but what a difference for such a small amount!
Firstly this hotel has extremely efficient security, based outside on patrol, who also, if you require a taxi, will check and record the drivers status (licence etc) should you have any problems at a later date, they have a record to pursue, this is just an example of a customer-focused staff and a great hotel. Secondly the hotel reception is manned 24/7 with both a helpful receptionist and concierge, both totally focused on giving you a great holiday, Mike, John, etc I already miss you, and your local knowledge! In-house they have a lovely little restaurant, with a nice coffee bar, this was a bonus to me as I'm a caffeine junkie. The hotel itself, might put some folks off, it's religiously themed, but this hotel was built in 2021 to celebrate 500 years of Christianity in the Philippines (hence the name) by a conglomerate of local businessmen, with fascinating displays and some lovely artwork in the lobby, so it's the theme of the hotel rather than being a religious building.
The rooms...easily on a par with any Western 4 star I've stayed in, key card entry, 24/7 hot showers, REAL clean rooms..not just look clean, keycode room safe's, great AC, fantastic powerful wifi (mines was as powerful in the room as in the lobby), kettle (which was spotless, this is often overlooked), cups, glasses etc, and a mini fridge..4 cold ones makes all the difference when you come in from the heat! Complimentary toiletries as standard. Laundry service, which I used, comes in at 400 pesos for a 5kg bag, I sent down two bags before 9am (the cut off) and had everything back at 2pm, clean and folded...meant I flew home with clean folded clothes. TV had all stations one expects in a major hotel to keep anyone happy.
A major plus is directly beside the hotel is Landers Hypermarket. It's Costco, just by a different name, same members cooked food deals in the restaurant , coffee shops, etc (the hotel has a corporate card they will loan guests, or you can join..700 pesos for the year), handy for any snacks or when you want to stock some beer in your fridge.
I couldn't find fault, I am going back later in the year, and the best recommendation I can give is I'm staying here.

I highly recommend this hotel. Their staff is incredibly accommodating, always ready to assist with a warm and welcoming attitude. From check-in to check-out, they ensure that guests feel comfortable and well taken care of. The food is absolutely delicious and exceeds our expectations. Every dish is well-prepared, flavorful, and made with fresh ingredients. The room maintained cleanliness.

Awful wifi, slow internet. Internet connection is very important to me, and the internet speed was around 2 mbps my entire stay, and I checked the speed in different parts of the hotel and it was slow everywhere. There are budget hotels for less than half the price of CQH that have internet speeds of 70 mbps consistently, why can’t a “quality” hotel have at least 15 mbps?? The slow internet made the entire experience feel like a horrible value. I cannot appreciate a good room and a comfortable, high quality bed if my internet connection is constantly slow. I even called the front desk and complained within minutes after arriving, but apparently, CQH has failed to invest in a speedy internet connection. I am extremely disappointed.

We stayed here with our family and we had a very good time here. The room was tidy and comfortable. The location is very handy as it’s close to Landers and the Ayala shopping mall.
The breakfast was very good, and the area in the lobby is a nicely decorated place.
But what made it so memorable and special was the attention of the staff. They were just so friendly to us and our children. Very accommodating and always helpful. So after going out into the city you’d feel like your home when you come back and everyone helps you moving out the cab. The hotel manager Adie Gallieares was very involved in ensuring that we were comfortable, and I’m sure his professionalism crafted such a great team.
My son loved the hot coco they made for us at breakfast and still talks about the “cozy hotel with the model ship”
What a great time we had here and we’ll surely come back.

Cebu Quincentennial Hotel (CQH) is the best place to stay . I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Cebu City.
We went home to Cebu to commemorate all soul’s day. We decided to stay in CQH. Aside from it being new, we wanted to experience a different hotel from the ones we’ve previously visited. CQH was designed to memorialize the 500 years of Christianity and it was properly represented by the interiors of the hotel.
Location is perfect. Landers, Belo, and other restaurants is just across the street. St. John XXIII Minore Chapel is just so near too. You can even walk going to Ayala Center.
The rooms were clean with very comfortable bed and pillows. Every staff member we encountered was pleasant and eager to help. The experience with the staff was very personal and we got to
engage in conversation with them and got to know them better. One of them even recommended a place to eat lechon in Car-car which we found really good.
We also had a good dining experience. Everything we tried in their menu is well-prepared, properly plated, and tastes so good. Our top 3 favorites among the breakfast items are Crispylog (beef and chicken hash), Tortilla de Huevos (Basil Pesto Omelette with cheese and cooked ham) and Huevas Rotos con Picadillo (chili con carne with chorizo). Their Lengua is the best—.please, please, please, try it!
Thank you CQH for the enjoyable stay and wonderful experience.

Want to be “cebuanize”, this is the best hotel to be! This is the comment from my husband who is first timer in Cebu. Staff are very friendly, courteous and hospitable. I’m bad with names but the front office supervisor needs to be commended. Everyone has the “cebuano” smile. If you don’t understand what that smile means, then it’s best to book and be at home at Cebu Quincentennial Hotel. Hotel is new and the location is very convenient. Walking to Ayala mall is no stress. Wondering what the hotel name means? Check their lobby, restaurant, corridors and rooms as it all gives information. Not to mention that this hotel gives a Sto. Niño pilgrim vibes. So, just by staying in the hotel, you can feel relaxed, be nostalgic about Cebu history as well as experience the quincentennial way of hospitality. Great hotel and ambiance to validate a feeling of being proud to be a cebuana!
