The breakfast buffet at Holiday Inn Cebu is an absolute delight!
The variety is impressive. They offer everything from classic staples like fluffy scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, local dried fish to international options like sashimi, fresh sushi rolls, and dim sum. The made-to-order omelet station was a standout—chefs expertly prepared my custom creation with a generous selection of vegetables, cheeses, and meats.
For those with a sweet tooth, the pastry and pancake section is a dream. The croissants were buttery and flaky, and the Belgian waffles than can be paired with their selection of sauces and syrup.
A surprising highlight was the selection of beverages. Alongside fresh-squeezed juices and barista-crafted lattes, there was an assortment of teas, and sikwate(local hot chocolate drink).
The staff were attentive, quickly clearing plates and ensuring everything was well-stocked. Also shout out to Vince for being so nice and accommodating every time we dined there.

New modern hotel and 5 minutes walk to Ayala center where you can shop for groceries, get a massage and shop for clothing and electronics. Excellent check in and checkout. We also liked the breakfast and the food in the restaurant was very good for lunch and dinner. Mr. Bam at the reception acknowledged our IHG status and upgraded us to a deluxe room. We also met Ms. Nolant Tiozon, executive assistant manager and was very helpful during our stay.

This newly opened hotel is located in the center of Cebu City, about a 5-minute walk from Ayala Center Shopping Mall, and about 40 minutes from the airport if it's not crowded. My stay at Holiday Inn Cebu was absolutely amazing! From the moment I stepped in, the staff were incredibly warm, welcoming and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable experience. As a Diamond Elite member, I was allowed to check in as early as 9am (since I took an early morning flight) and was allowed to check out at 2pm (since my flight is not until late at night). The room was clean, with premium bedding and stunning views of the city. The breakfast buffet was a delicious spread with a wide variety of options, and the hotel's location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area. Overall, I had a relaxing stay and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cebu City.

We will always choose to stay at this particular Holiday Inn in Cebu! We went to Cebu in March 2023, but we didn’t book a hotel. Our driver recommended we stay at the Holiday Inn and we’re so glad that we did! We love this place so much that we decided to stay there again in August of this Year and we consider it a 2nd home in Cebu.
It’s located in a convenient spot in their business district and within walking distance of the Ayala Mall. The taxi and bus stop are right in front of the hotel, so transportation isn’t an issue. There’s even a 7/11 and Pan de Manila near the entrance of the hotel.
This hotel smells nice and it’s very clean, from the lobby, to the restaurant, to the hotel rooms, etc. Every single employee we met have been so kind to the point where even our driver was impressed with the service, saying that they weren’t “masungit” or rude to him even if he was just a driver. We were even surprised that one of the employees had remembered us. Everyone was so accommodating and willing to help, even making recommendations on the places we should check out in Cebu. Their staff are so kind and genuine that it’s so enjoyable chatting with them.
If we don’t feel like eating out, we love eating at their restaurant on the 7th floor. We had brought some jackfruit, but one employee said we couldn’t keep it in the room so he recommended we have it cut up and prepared by their restaurant free of charge. We went outside and the same employee ran after us, saying that he was mistaken and said Durian was the fruit that was not allowed in the room and that jackfruit was okay. The hotel restaurant prepared anyways for us and brought it to our room!
As for the restaurant, they’re food is delicious and fresh some at a reasonable price, accompanied by some live music if you go at the right time. The buffet that is offered on the weekends was a bit expensive, but their buffet offered a great variety of food, from international to Filipino options. They also offer their Merienda buffet from 2-5pm and Filipino BBQ by the pool on particular days and times. Unfortunately we did not have time to try their Merienda and BBQ, but we will make sure to do so on our next trip.
Their hotel room has a nice design. I love their open bathroom and their set up for my luggage, items and clothes. Their pillows and bed are comfortable and their dining area is the perfect size for the room. They have an electric water kettle for coffee or tea and their fridge is stocked with drinks for purchase. Calling for room service was easy for whenever we needed extra pillows, toilet paper, etc and with the press of the button, you can opt to not have your room cleaned.
We are looking forward to our next stay at this Holiday Inn in Cebu!

If you are looking for great value, service and comfortable room I would highly recommend this hotel. Only stayed 1 night, but for a 4 star hotel I give his 5 star. Arrived in the early hours of morning they had porters on duty and plenty staff on, very clean and modern, rooms are spacious and one of the most comfortable beds ever slept on. Breakfast buffet was excellent on check out fast friendly service and stored our bags for the day.

We recently tried Holiday Inn Cebu for a 3-day workshop and we were so impressed! This compact hotel is conveniently located in the business district so it’s very accessible to Ayala Mall and other restaurants. It even has a 711 convenience store beside it and Hop Inn for budget travellers.
The quality and variety of food were good. Better than some of their competitors nearby, and their fried chicken is top tier!The superior rooms are much smaller than their Ortigas counterpart, but they are clean and cozy, and the sheets were fresh.
However, what sets this hotel apart is their service. From the moment you check-in, you will be greeted by their front office personnel with such warmth that makes you feel like you’re a regular client. Ms. Valerie, the FO Manager, was particularly gracious to everyone.
The Manager who handled our account, Ms. Rosemarie Sandigan, was one of the most patient, charming and attentive Account Managers I have ever worked with. She was always available to attend to our needs even if our activity fell on a weekend, which is her day off.
I had reasons to believe that their General Manager, Ms. Gibeth Gloria, was the strong influence behind this excellent service. Ms. Gloria made it a point to visit the clients during function and assured them that the hotel’s entire service force is available to address any concerns. And they were! The heads of several departments typically roam around to check on the guests. They even served green cookies to our young participants on October 4 because it was World Smile Day.
Overall, it was a memorable experience for my team and our guests. I highly, highly recommend this hotel for business or for pleasure.

The Holiday Inn cannot be mistaken for a 5 star hotel but it is extremely convenient and comfortable to stay in.
And the price for a room is often half of the competition.
I have stayed here circa. 200 nights already this year.
Even though the hotel lacks the key feature of an executive lounge (free food), it's possible to grab the fixins' for afternoon tea and evening snack at the breakfast buffet.
Being an IHG member really pays off here. Forget about 26x points earnings. I am on min. 30x and lately closer to 50+x points. So having the IHG co-branded credit card really pays off!
Oh, and I am always upgraded to a suite.
The staff is terrific but more enthusiastic than professional as they are inevitably headed to Manila and/or the cruise ships.

Lenafie is my room attendant who I insist on having no matter which floor I am billeted to.

We’ve always heard about this hotel and finally tried for the first time - and it did not disappoint. From the design of the room which how the bathroom and the toilet is separate from the master bed just makes so much sense. Very functional and gives us privacy especially when inviting other guest on our room. The services: staff, housekeeping, breakfast and how fast their responses are from our calls were just amazing especially from a small hotel like them. Though there’s not much on the menu to order from overall if was a great stay !
The only setback about the hotel is how they’re managing the taxis. I wished they could’ve given us the taxi information every time. One bad experience was after we checkout, we were going to the airport, and the taxi we got was very rude and was asking for extra payment which wasn’t right coz it’s metered. We tried talking but instead he threw us out of the taxi, like literally throwing our luggages on the road. We weren’t able to capture the taxi’s information coz obv we were all shocked. That’s when how I wished the hotel could’ve given us the taxi information just like most of the hotels.
