we arrived at 10 pm at the bayfront hotel capitol site and we will stay here for four days and our room is 1512 and what I can say is that the hotel is ok and good location and close to the malls and not expensive to go anywhere by the taxi. the staff are kind.
Bad service I will definitely NOT recomment at all. We have booked ahead and they told us the rate wil not change at all. We would understand if they have informed us but we kept asking them and they said no the rate will stay as long you will pay the deposit which we paid right away. Now the person we talked to Ms Shayne has resign they wont honor the rate even we have the emailed but the other person Ms Jessica is still working at Bayfront Hotel Capitol, hasn't informed us at all at least we will know. Money is not an issue here, we were so frustrated about their communication and their service all they want is Money not the service. I even called ma y times but still the reception hasn't informed me at all. We have booked a room with kitchenette and there is stove but no pot to use or any basic things. Like what will I use then?! If you asked extra blanket/pillow/towel they want more money, which you have to pay more. This is why PHILIPPINES has a bad review at all I was looking forward as my friend recommended me to stay here but I should have listen to my GUTS then not to stay here but giving the benefits of the doubt. But I was right then. You don't want to stay here, you can stay at Cebu Parklane hotel and Radisson they have a good service and your money you paid for is worth it.…
Housekeeping should be requested by phone? Seriously??? I’ve been to countless hotels, even during pandemic, and housekeeping was done on a daily basis! But for this one, we already turned the “Make Up Room” light, went out the whole day and came back at 5PM and SURPRISE!!!! Room was not cleaned!!!! I called and was told because it’s pandemic, housekeeping by request and there’s a queue! That’s really BS!!! First of all, it’s December 2022, not 2020! Plus, they supply 1x 350ml of water per person (even if we booked the premiere family room!). So meaning, no housekeeping, no drinking water, too!!!!!!!! So tired and so mad, this is my first review ever. That’s how frustrated I am with this hotel. Oh btw, even if I already called, they still cannot clean our room. Because guess what? Next shift starts 7pm. What a service!…
The new hotel with a nice rooftop pool is near the Robinsons Mall and a groceries store. Unfortunately during my stay, due to renovation, we couldn't use the fitness center and the gorgeous rooftop pool during our first 2 days. The fitness center is equipped with the bare essentials. The hotel room was poorly soundproofed. You heard the room's neighbors and the street noise and we were on the 16th floor. In addition, you couldn't close the window properly. The room was rubbishy and sparsely furnished. The bed is rigid and we could not sleep well. Coffee was available, for tea you have to pay extra. Buffet breakfast offered a variety of delicious Filipino dishes, fruits, salads, and warm beverages. I would like to see additional western options like cereals, yogurt, and pastries.
Well priced hotel, newly constructed. Everything was clean and sparkling. Check in was super smooth and informative with Bernard as our concierge. The front desk experience sets the mood for your stay. The porters were helpful and courteous. The rooms were modern, decent sized and beautifully furnished. The bathrooms clean and well decorated. One problem we had was we were a floor above a ballroom and it was constantly noisy. Sure we want people to have a good time but Filipinos in a group at parties can be very loud and boisterous, not understanding that it is a Hotel not a reception lounge, especially when they bring the party to the hallways. They have a cafe next to reception where you can get a decent lunch and dinner buffet BUT breakfast is a joke. I could barely have the brewed coffee. Most of the diners were Filipino so yeah, it suited their tastes. Internet was good and solid for the 3 nights we stayed there. …
- The room wasn't ready till 8pm - It's loud inside and outside the hotel - Staff aren't helpfull and sometimes act like they don't understand you and then just moves on to do something else - Aircon broke down and 1 of our suitcased was completely wet due to this issue (and ruined my gfs personal belongings) - Aircon broke down AGAIN and the whole floor was wet and this time I slipped and fell - Rooms were not that clean - Supposed to be a new hotel, but room looked run down (already) - When room service was cleaning the room next to us, 2 staff were just standing in front of the door and talking/laughing very loud.
The hotel Was spotless with breakfast. It was a new hotel so expect that everything is new and fresh. The rooms was spacious and very clean. The staff are also friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is a buffet type but the food is okay. Except if they serve danggit
Good location with wide range of amenities. Hotel and room itself are clean, well-maintained with good internet connection. I came with my spouse and small kids, employees (like Riza and Girlie) were helpful and attentive to our needs. My family felt at home during our stay. Everything was very convenient. Good value for money.
Conveniently located within walking distance of popular food establishments (Jollibee etc), convenience stores, pharmacy and public transport. Hotel staff are friendly and courteous, good amenities including pool, restaurant, airport transfer, free breakfast, among others. Stayed in family room which was clean and spacious, ideal considering I had 2 small children with me. Wide-range menu for in-room dining with a kitchenette, fridge, coffee maker and microwave. Family-friendly, relaxing and enjoyed our stay. Will stay here again.
I was very thankful that the hotel management was able to accommodate me despite the condition of Cebu City after the typhoon Odette. The hotel staff was working their best to serve thier guest with a smile. Even though the hotel can only do much because of the situation .. You will still feel at home. Kudos to the team of Ms. Girlie ( Hotel Manger) . I will surely use this hotel on my future trip to Cebu.
