I love the themes in some of the rooms. They have 2 channels of adult channels perfect for 2-3 hour stay. The neighborhood that the hotel is located is very bad but their are security guards outside. For some reason, each time I checked in,either the shower don't work or the toilet flush needs flushing 3times.

I stood for one night at the sogo hotel from the 3 july 2013 till 4 july 2013.
Prices are average, the room was clean, I didn't hear any kind of noise at all. I actually had no trouble for the check in ( I had no reservation). It was ok.
Perhaps I would stay there again, but only for like 1 or two nights, not longer.
For a longer stay, I suggest to choose another hotel.
The good thing about the sogo hotel is, you can also rent it for like a couple of hours ;). as example if you drunk to much the night before :D.

They rent rooms here for 3 hours, 9 hours, 12 hours or 24 hours. From that, you know it's to bring girls back here. I ended up staying for three days...long story, don't ask. I would have only stayed for max one night, but I had extenuating circumstances. I saw bugs everyday, especially if a good tray was left out in the hall.

If you get a room for 24 hours, you get breakfast included. It's an egg, 2 pieces of toast and your choice of meat. It's probably the worst breakfast I've ever had. I ordered from the menu the first night; it was not bad. Standard sweet and sour pork with rice. I would eat it again because it's cheap.

LOCATION: It's in the Colon area, and from what I hear this is not a good area. I didn't feel any more or less comfortable here then I do in most parts of PI. No matter where I end up, people are always looking for a hand out. I guess there are some historical parts in this end of the city too, but I didn't look.

The room is small, but the a/c works great! The bathroom and shower is one room together and it was not good. Small sink, mold on the tile and overall not clean. The bed is a 4 inch pad and I did not sleep well because my back got sore.

The internet is spotty. I had to call at least once a day to tell them that it went out, but when it worked it wasn't too bad. We had a three hour "brown out" one day, which is funny because I saw an advertisement that said, "ABSOLUTELY, NO BROWN OUTS".

The service isn't too bad; they were friendly and helpful.

OVERALL: It was not a comfortable stay and I would not recommend this place or stay here unless you are planning a "short time" stay. There are plenty of other hotels for $10US more per night with much higher quality amenities.

Stayed for a night. The location is accessible as it is within the busy streets of cebu. The room is clean, airconditioner works well, has free towels and bath soap. The bathroom is kind of small. TV has cable connection however there are X rated channels that are free to watch so this place is really NOT a child friendly. The lightings in the room are nice and the interior was great. However, there are no power outlets available to charge your gadgets so you need to pull out the tv cable wire if you want to use the outlet. The room is not sound proofed and you can clearly hear sounds in the next room. Elevator is too small but better than nothing. They have free wifi but not accessible inside the room. The room rates are kind of pricey but compared to other inns and hotels in the area? I think this will be the best option.

I did not prebook nor research the review of the hotel before arrival in Cebu. I relied upon my niece to bring me to a hotel in Sanciangco St. close to Tabuan market. The entrance to the hotel looked decent and it is located in one of the busiest streets in Cebu. Since I did not prebook the hotel, I was assigned a room in the 5th floor in premium status paying around $35 a night. The key is up inside the room. There are double doors to the room; it is decent looking and not so spacious with a double bed edged to one side. It looked cramped. To my disappointment, there is only one convenience outlet which is shared with the TV connection. An iphone adapter will not fit into the space between the back of the TV and the wall outlet. What kind of a hotel is this that do not have a power outlets. The TV sound is controlled on the side table and it sounded awful. You can't hear the sound clearly. The TV sound on the adjoining room can be heard in your room. If the next room is watching TV all night, you can hear the noise all night too. There are Xrated channels that are free to view. The bathroom doesn't have a towel rack. The complimentary soap smells like a dishwashing or laundry soap. The air conditioner (inverter type) doesn't have a controller to change the temperature settings!

I won't check in to this hotel for the price. It is not worth. The check in desk clerks looked professional with their red uniforms but not as friendly and helptful.

Last month me and my wife with my 2 other friend approach so go Hotel. When we approach the reception we saw the tariff of the hotel was made by an Hour basic. Sound's like pretty much for protection, and the second things when we finally reach to room, Rooms was quite small. The very bad things about the room was it was extremely smile by smoke.

Nice things I like is we request them our room was smile by smoke they gave different room which was slightly better then the one before. 100 % rooms are allow smoking. and their room has no window. you imagine how it will be worst If their is smoke with no window.

Staff are nice and It's cheaper then other Hotel, If you check in let and If you are leaving early the fallowing day.

I showed up without a reservation. They said that they only had Regency room (2 queen beds) remaining. I'm pretty certain that was a lie! But, I'm a white traveler, so I usually expect to get ripped off a few times each trip. Sogo rooms are always very clean, but they're love hotels, so I'd be nervous to know what happened in the room before I got there. I didn't explore the neighborhood much, but there were many prostitutes, touts, and whorists around. When in a bind, or if you're mongering, Sogo hotels are always a great choice. You can pay for 24 hours or in shorter time spans. Good security.

Probably somewhere you want to avoid unless you need a room desperatley for an hour or 2 as they do offer hourly rates... on the other hand I should have guessed that when the price for a night was just $19.
There is a free porn channel however but I'd have rather had a bathroom free of mould.
Don't let the photos fool you as it looks like a bargain online.

At the reception there is a price list that clearly states room prices by the hour. I booked this hotel when I was in Bangkok 2 days before I arrived on a hotel booking site, I can't remember which one but I paid for 2 nights accommodation with breakfast.
