We had stayed at Quest hotel and Waterfront prior to checking in at 18 Suites , Sanson Rd Lahug in Cebu City. The hotel is fairly new , great location, beds are comfortable and very clean place and best of all: Price is excellent! What we got for a higher price at the other hotels was great breakfast but they lack the cleanliness and efficiency of the room air conditioner and terrific wifi!! We cancelled our other bookings to rebook this place as we got great value for our money! We would definitely go back there anytime we are in Cebu City!

I booked a room for my fiance on her way back from Oslob, she showed the reservation email and the payment receipt confirming that the room had been paid for in advance. However the receptionist said the confirmation number is incorrect and doesn't match the one on "our system" No help was offered to her and she was basically told it is tough you can't have a room. I called the hotel from the UK as I had gone back on business and complained to the front desk but they basically said the same thing tough. My fiance paid cash to get a room after waiting an hour in reception which was refunded the day after as they said they received the correct confirmation at 8:45am that morning. Even though they were shown the confirmation email and payment receipt they are accusing you of lying and don't believe you.Treatment like this from a hotel is absolutely disgusting and they deserve the lowest score possible.…

Firstly I’d like to thank Ann the receptionist for allowing me to check-in earlier than the Check-in time. The room is basic the bed linens were clean and new, the toilet was okay too w basic toiletirws provided. The bfast at the restau downstairs was basic too with limited options. could’ve been improved if the provide healthier options for bfast. The security guard was not doing his job properly. He was just standing there the whole time, busy doing his own stuffs and not attentive to rhe hotel guests. It was a rainy morning when i checked out and he was there at the door. I had luggages w me and used the ramp to transport my luggages. Due to the slippery tiles, i slipped down the ramp hurt my back but it was tolerable. I was expecting the security guard to at least assist me since i was carrying 3pieces of bag but nothing happened. I just have to manage it myself. i think as a hotel personnel who is officially on duty, you have to be mindful to your clients. …

OYO 18 Suites, a great new hotel close to JY Square in Cebu City, offers super clean and spacious accommodation at very reasonable rates. Staff are always friendly and helpful and management strives to keep their guests satisfied as we found out when a couple of issues arose on our last stay there. Both issues were resolved promptly and to our satisfaction (Thanks to Ms.Emily!). Rooms are indeed basic, but very comfortable and good-sized by any hotel standard; so too are the bathrooms which feature hot and cold water showers only. Each room comes with a good-sized window and blind to keep out the strong afternoon sun. We prefer rooms on the JY Square side as the sun is not so strong. Each room has an excellent A/C unit and a small table with two chairs which are adequate to sit and eat at. None of the rooms have balcony access. No pool or gym facilities are available, but recently a restaurant has opened up on the ground floor and operates separately to the hotel. We have not tried the restaurant as yet, but it does offer a plated breakfast apparently. There are many places (fast food outlets, canderias and restos) to eat in and around JY Square at the end of Sanson Road, about 5 minutes walk away. Banks, money changers and jeepneys are also available in the same stretch of main road. JYSquare also offers a medium-sized supermarket. Mango and Fuentes Osmena Circle are 15-20 minutes by taxi/Grab. All in all, a good-value-for-money hotel outside of central Cebu City and highly recommended for short stays. Room is spacious and very clean. Everyday if you want your room to be made up just press the button. Convenient location very near to everywhere you want go. Value for money and it's worth it. Nearby are eateries and restaurant no mention to street foods along the road. Walking distance to big grocery and known fastfood chains. Transportation to airport is about 30 minutes. Definitely will stay again.

The hotel is new. Super clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. I don't know what people expect for a USD 20 rate. It is great! Next to the mall and close to IT Park area. If I came back to Cebu, I would go here again without any doubt.

Got there and the front desk told me that the OYO said to send me to Maxwell Hotel witch I don't want. So if you want to be near JY and It Park, you better choose another place for your stay because you might end far from here. Sad because OYO is on contract with a lot of hotel now in Cebu. 18 Suite will be dissociated from OYO soon, when you want to reserve, be sure not to reserve if it still OYO but need to be 18 Suite direct. 18 Suite: The location, hotel and staff is just perfect for the best bang for the buck.

This is a basic no frills hotel with no breakfast, pool etc. It’s good considering the price you pay. Room was clean upon check in, though no Housekeeping came to clean up my room for the rest of my stay. Walls were thin so I could hear activity going on next door, as well as people opening and closing their doors. There was also loud lobby music early in the morning which woke me up, but that could be because my room was nearest to the lift lobby. Couldn’t get the water heater to work so had to shower in cold water. It’s great that they have a water dispenser on each floor!

The property is new and my room is immaculate , spotless , and very spacious. It is very close to it park and Ayala mall. Lots of restaurants , convenience Stores , and supermarket nearby . Jeepney stop is just about 100 meters away from the property. Management and staff is very friendly and helpful . I enjoyed my stay and definitely recommend this hotel.

stayed two nights. 24/7 front desk which fits my requirements as i arrived 2 in the morning. check in was quick. got twin beds as requested thru agoda booking. room has toiletries, safety deposit box, ref, bidet too. clean and new, minimalistic. hot water is an issue, either cold or too hot, could be the ecotherm brand water heater and the heat setting or thermostat. drinking water is available in the lift lobby, normal, cold and hot termperature. hotel has no food service but not so much an issue as jy square, mcdonalds & jollibee, anita bakeshop are within walking distance.
