I did not mind the aging closet and desks, the almost not-heating hot&cold shower, the stained floors, and the monotonous walls, but having a curfew is big no-no for an inn. They have a security guard to secure the place so I couldn't comprehend why they need to implement a curfew (12AM to 6AM). Wifi speed was just fair and the television set was outdated.

This Hotel varies from average to very good depending on which room you get . Last time we stayed in room 207 I think. It was very good . Other times room has been average. For me the location is great with close walk to Elizabeth Mall and Gaisano Metro . The thing that is very important to me is the friendliness and attitude of the staff . The lady behind the desk,Elsie, is a real credit to the Hotel. She is friendly helpful and does her job very well . One of the cleaning ladies ,Rose ,is also excellent and has a friendly and helpful attitude. I was amazed ,when we had a blocked toilet ,that Rose herself fixed it within 5 minutes of us telling her . I thought she would get someone else to do it . I will return to this Hotel

Cockroaches everywhere! Awfully scary to be typing an email on your computer and a cockroach scampers across your hands! Damned irritating to wake up with a cockroach on your face! Ugh! Why can't they fumigate that place? Oh yes, let's talk about service. I like to have a coffee in the morning while i read the newspaper. So I ask the desk clerk to (there's a restaurant on the same floor as the lobby) to tell the kitchen to give me coffee first and then my breakfast 30 minutes later. But it never works out that way. The kitchen staff ALWAYS deliver both the coffee and the meal at the same time, and always with a very long delay. GRRR! (Is not hot water for coffee always available?). Jeez!

If you are a retired Australian male looking for a place to stay with your underage Philippina, you might just love the place. Otherwise, keep away. The rooms are stinky, the sheets shabby, bathrooms…let's leave it here. Most rooms have no windows, which makes the place even more depressing. I escaped after one night regardless of the approaching typhoon.

This hotel has good location, close to bus south terminal and ferry terminals. Generally it's not that bad, you get what you pay for. I stayed in two different rooms, first one i booked in advance, room was not very good, stinky ac, dirty bathroom since i had to stay one more night, i asked for it and got better price and even much better room so i suggest to ask for room on 5th floor. They are much cleaner and not so noisy since walls are very thin and you can hear everything that is happening around you even every word from your neighbour's tv. I'm not sure if i would come back again but if you are budget traveller you can try i think you'll not be disappointed.

We stayed at Cebuview Tourist Inn for one night in August 2013. Good location for a morning bus from the Southern Bus Station, if you don't mind being in the red light district (we were not hassled and had no issues). Our shower was leaking so we had to move rooms - the next room was noisy as it was next to the pipes. Good option if you can get a quiet room - comfortable with good shower and air-con. Wifi works in the lobby only, nice breakfast available but not included. Probably the best of the three places we stayed in Cebu.

Originally intended to stay at the Sogo Hotel since I just wanted a place to sleep in coming from Manila near midnight. Sogo was booked and was being offered 2hr or a 3hr stay. I was told to try Cebu view which was a few steps away. I was also hesitant but they gave a 20% discount so why not? The room was really clean and so was the bathroom. It was also a big room. If you would want a place in the downtown area and just needed a place to sleep, this is a good low-budget hotel. Service is okay.

pros : walking distance from colon, magellan's cross, sto niño church, yap-sandiego ancestral house, cebu heritage monument, casa gorordo, museo sugbu, fort san pedro and plaza independencia. cons : we thought that breakfast included but its not, annoying waitress ( we ordered breakfast 645am and its already 7:45 the food is still not there), told the receptionist about it and she didn't do anything grrrrr, aside from being annoying she got attitude, while taking orders (super slow, can't seem to comprehend what we we're saying) room is ok, small bathroom, aircon is old but still working, but takes time for the room to get cold don't ask the receptionist about lechon restaurant because she doesn't have any idea its affordable though, would be my last resort if ever i go back

I was doubtful at first when I first saw the hotel entrance as it looked like a congested nook inside, but bell this is a spacious hotel being alone in the room. I also noticed that this hotel is being flocked by loads of Foreigners from every corner as well. Nice service but will not go back due to unpleasant experience.
