This is basic budget hotel in older section of town. This older area is in decline. Hotel is OK for the price but its dated as well. No restaurant but many eating spots and shopping are around. Has 24 hour security guard which is needed in this area. Don't expect great its fair.

We had a Nice room with enough space, private bathroom that is really tidy. Design is a bit outdated but functional. The street where it is situated is chaotic, typical for downtown. Security out front makes u always feel safe and helps you with taxi. Nice attentive staff

My second time in Cebu and we are planning to stay near Colon and we opted for this property due to its proximity to everything. As far as making a reservation via email, hotel staff was replying though there are times when you need to resend your queries for you to get a reply. When we arrived, we are welcomed by an unpleasant odor from their GUARD, though he’s kind he opens door for you and greeting you when you get in or go out. (I just like to highlight these because if guest are greeted with these kind of odor it might reflect the overall expectation of the hotel, so at the end of our stay we advise the front desk about it). So going back, we were asked to pay for the total twin room rate. Noting fancy though in the room, just basic. One thing that I just noticed though is

I have stay overnight at the Cebu View Tourist Inn and it's totally worth it. If not because of my work schedule I would have stay longer. The hotel is very much accessible to public vehicles as it is situated along the main road. Nearby resto and food kiosks are also available but had stayed inside the hotel instead and with a great food room service, I was greatly satisfied. I would also recommend the rooms on higher floors so you won't hear noises from the outside. The food also is very affordable. Friendly staff at the check in counter and polite room service staff. I would recommend this hotel to travelers on a bugdet.
