For the price we paid it was alright, clean and quiet. But we didn't really feel welcome and also felt unsafe in the area when walking around in the evening. Their restaurant looked like a fast food outlet. Would probably not stay here again.

I think highly of the employees , honest and dependable. I left my wallet among the plastic bags left with the security guard on duty, because we can't bring the stuff in our room. Just then I couldn't find my wallet, we searched the van which we rented but it was not there. When we went to the guard he found the plastic bag which contained my wallet. Gladly it was there, untouched. My fault I left it among my purchases, so careless of me.

Golden Valley is a pleasant, full service hotel. Three rooms are comfortably furnished and clean. Price includes a good breakfast. I thought their restaurant was a little over priced at dinner but convenient. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

We stayed here for about four nights in total and were really happy with our stay. We paid P1,080 per room per night without breakfast. The room was nice with cable TV, fridge, hot water, wifi and AC. There was excellent sleep quality. The staff provided room service at all times so we got a flask of hot water brought to the room to make tea/coffee. Free drinking water was also provided. The restaurant downstairs was reasonably priced and the food was good. We just had sandwiches so I don't know what the hot meals were like. The first time we stayed there the WIFI worked perfectly in the room. The second time we stayed there it didn't work so well as our room was not beside the router so maybe ask for a room near the router. There are many routers on each floor. It's in a

This place is just ok. Its neither the best nor the worst i've stayed at. The rooms are a bit dated, but otherwise clean. Wifi reception in rooms is quite low. Tried to extend my stay with one night. The receptionist was ok with that, as long as i paid the normal rate, not the discount rate i got online. I made the case that i could go online right now, and book again, if that was the case. Apparently it was. 5 min later I had booked online. I felt like she didn't want want us as guest. And that it was a problem that i wanted to stay longer. For $25 per night it was ok value for money, and I would consider staying again.

This hotel is infested with cockroaches and ants. The staff don't care and the restaurant is always closed after breakfast. Breakfast only consist or rice and egg. So bad it is funny. A "choice" of boiled rice or fried rice. A "choice or fried egg or scambled egg and a small piece of meat which I need to register for. lol That is it for breakfast. I only ate it once . all other times I just went and got real food outside the hotel. Jollibee is outside on the right up the hill. Restaurants turn left and on the corner. If you turn left and walk down the hill you have all options on the main road two blocks down. This area is dark with little lighting but I still felt safe. just walk past the people hanging around on the street and ignore them. Taxis are everywhere and all the

It's far from all the hustle and bustle of the city life. Being a person who loves more quiet and remote areas this was a good location to put a hotel in. It is quiet and it has its own canteen at the ground floor. The rooms are just right and there is enough of everything. For a budget hotel I would say it was a great place to stay in for the room rates. If also you are going to the Sinulog festival. It is a good location as the actual festival takes place just right in front of the place. It is also near the airport cost us about 200 pesos by taxi but It was alright. We did not experience any problems staying here and the staff were very accommodating. They told us how to get to places and they helped us get around cebu and around their sites.
