It's the best place to unwind. No TV in the room makes relaxing more easier. The owners are very accommodating and helpful. Eating is quite a challenge as the restaurant is not operating. Aside from that it is a very lovely place.

This place is not very near the town or the whale watching so just be mindful of that (why it lost a star) but other than that it is in a beautiful place with a sunset like I have never seen before! Stunning views and very nice staff there. The problem about it being out of the town is easily solved by renting a moped/scooter while you're there for just 400peso. You will likely need a moped anyway because Oslob is pretty spread out and it's hard to get around anyway; so assuming you have a moped then definitely stay here at Angler's.

Ken and family were amazing hosts! Stayed here with 4 other friends and managed to meet two other people here. They made us breakfast and got us the first spots for whale sharks, canyoneering, kawasan, fish wall, etc. Amazing and unforgettable experience. Be warned that the showers do not get hot. Live the island life!

The room was cozy. The food was great and very Filipino. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Excellent for business trips as well. I would like to thank Mrs Ann, the owner, for accommodating and assisting me with my needs. I enjoyed my stay here because the place was quiet. I did not experienced any problems during my stay.

This was my first time traveling out of the country.. so things for me were completely new. My host though KEN couldn’t have made it and easier and has his guest best interest in mind. From the moment I showed up they were having a celebration and offered me a plate and beers in hand, after a 5 hour bus ride what more could you ask. I explained I was there for the activities in that area I.e whale sharks, falls, canyoneering and Ken knew exactly the best times to go to insure that my experience would be the best. He also knew a great place to enjoy food and WiFi which helps because the WiFi is not very strong inside dorms. Ken is a local to Oslob so he has very good insight to the things happening in the area and because of this he actively seeks out what can and will benefit you best.
