Stayed for 3 nights en-route to Siquijor. The hotel is located in an area where foreigners must be on their guard from pickpockets and being accosted by young children and others asking for money, especially at night. However, there are few places to walk to other than a few fast food restaurants. The hotel is not soundproofed and so you are woken by voices and TV from other rooms, raised voices along corridors and those waiting for the lift. However, external road noise is the worst as the road is used as a race track by youngsters on non-silenced motorbikes past midnight. Standard rooms are small. The door staff are polite and welcoming. Housekeeping needs managing. After a long hot walk to the Basilica etc, we arrived back at 7pm to find our room not cleaned, so had to wait in reception. The next day, we arrived back at 3:30pm and room again not made up, whilst 5 housekeeping staff were chatting in a different room. We booked on the basis of ‘Includes breakfast’ - big mistake as for foreigners it’s almost indelible which is good as the portion is small. One choice, decided by a surly waitress on the day. Rice, bread with sugar, a small slice of apple, 2 tablespoons of corned beef. Fruit juice had run out and coffee was from sachets with powdered milk. All foreign guests that we saw left the breakfast. There is a separate coffee barista in the foyer selling real coffee and muffins which is popular when guests forgo breakfast. A good marketing ploy! Reception checks you in and checks you out and adds no value as they have no local knowledge from a tourist perspective. No maps, no advice. However, they are prompt in taking a P1,000 deposit for a plastic programmable room card. We are seasoned travellers who don’t mind basic accommodation and will put up with most things. Ok for 1 night as you are close to the pier for Bohol & Siquijor, but don’t expect to sleep and eat breakfast.

Watch-out for a possible scam during checkout! We booked 2 rooms in this hotel and during checkout, the front desk told us that 1 of the rooms is missing the "DO NO DISTURB" sign, and that we should pay 500php to replace it. You must be thinking...who the hell would take a "Do no disturb" sign?! Because that's the first thing that came to my mind too. I was staying on one of the rooms, and have told them that I don't remember seeing a "do not disturb" sign there. At this point, they say that it's the other room that's missing the sign. And that the room I was staying in didn't have the sign at all. I asked them if they have proof that the other room really did have the "do not disturb" sign when we checked in, but they could not provide proof. I requested to speak to a supervisor (sorry, I know, it sounds like a Karen moment, but I swear, I am in the right here) or manager to sort things out, but they said both are not available and they could not also provide a number we can atleast call. I know 500php is not a lot, but I am not budging in on the basis of principle. After few more minutes of discussion and pushing to speak to the manager, they said housekeeping found the sign in the trash bin, so we no longer need to pay anything. In my nearly 20 years of travelling experience, this is the first time a hotel ever tried to charge me for a missing sign... This is the most ridiculous thing ever. BTW, one more unrelated note... one of the rooms we stayed in accommodates 4 people, but it only had 2 towels. When we asked for additional towels, but they told us that we had to pay extra. I guess you really do get what you pay for... cheap hotel = poor service. The hotel room itself was spacious and relatively clean. However, the toilet sink took some time to drain. The hotel only has 1 elevator and could fit maybe 6 people, so it takes a bit of time to get down on busy times. Note also that the elevator does not go all the way down to basement parking. It only goes down until ground floor, afterwhich you need to take the stairs down to basement parking. This is very important if you are travelling with someone on a wheelchair or someone who has some mobility issues. If you are planning an event here, do take note... When we arrived, there was some scaffolding and construction work on the facade of the hotel, which was a bit disappointing, as we were staying there for a wedding reception. So I can only imagine the disappointment on the bride and grooms face, when they saw that the hotel had this. (Hotel management did not mentioned this to them when they booked the hotel for the event)

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights Feb.15 & 16, 2020. As a frequent world traveler, we stayed anywhere from cheap apartments, ecolodges, B&Bs , camps, home-stay to 5-star hotels and everything in between in diff. continents. Having said that : A) Very convenient - Property is located in the heart of Cebu city, close to restaurants, shopping & transportation. B) Safe - 24 hours security & room safe is provided. C) Comfort - there’s hot shower, comfortable beds with clean quality linens. I also find the bathroom towels of better quality. D) Service - couldn’t ask for more. Staff went all the way to buy me a couple of Beer outside (late night) ‘coz they don’t have the brand I want. At no extra cost. E) Clean, and F) Good value - had “breakfast for dinner” delivered (room service) for two (2) which consists of rice, egg, fried milk fish w/ garnishing, can of soda & bottled water for $ 5.20 ! (Pictures attached)

Don’t let the price and photos on their website fool you. What you see there is not what you get in reality. From what I experienced: 1. Ants on their counters (I room moved but still found ants just coming from cracks near by bedside) 2. Rooms are not well sound proof so I could hear the music from the pubs/clubs outside which makes it hard to sleep. 3. Hotel doesn’t provide you toothbrush and toothpaste you have to request for that at a price, as well extra bath towels and other amenities which I found strange. 4. Rooms are not well maintained , dirty in corners , spider webs in other corners and just not comfortable when you experience this. Probably on opening year this hotel was great but not they don’t bother Maintaining the whole room and doing daily check ups if room is not occupied. “The devil is in the detail”. If you are traveling with children , if you are traveling as a couple and you guys are really on a tight budget then this is your hotel. I would not recommend this hotel. The only positive thing I took from this was the staff I encountered, Front desk , security in the front and housekeeping , they always smiled, stayed positive and willing to fix any of my problems. I blame poor management for this hotel , it it’s the front line staff’s fault. In conclusion to all of this I originally booked a 4 night stay but ended up leaving on the 2nd day and just got an AirBnB .... much much more worth it.

The first room we checked into was like a prison cell, no windows and barely enough space to move. The next room we moved to was a little bigger so there was at least a little more space to make it a fair contest when trying to catch the cockroaches. The Breakfast was almost indescribable, definitely not fit for eating. I got a couple of bottles of water from the bar that came with one of the foulest smells I have ever experienced which made me dread what was going on in the fridge freezer that they were being stored in. The next day I asked for more water and was told that they didn't have any and that if I wanted water I would need to go to the 7-11 and buy some. The elevator was constantly breaking down which meant that we got the opportunity to use the stairs and see how derelict and in need of serious repair parts of the hotel were. The only good thing I can say about this hotel is that the staff were very friendly and they tried their best to keep smiling and remain professional in a less than favourable environment.

The hotel from hell…The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in in my entire life. This would have to be the absolute hotel from hell. The breakfast isn’t fit to give to a dog. My room was right next to a nightclub. The music was so loud you couldn’t hear yourself think and it went on to the early hours of the morning. How in the world they could even rent that room to someone is actually beyond me. But it gets worse… You get accosted by prostitutes and sleazy guys trying to sell you Viagra if you take a walk. If I live to be 101 and stay in hotels every week, I think I’d be hard-pressed to find a worse hotels than this one. The room looked absolutely nothing like what I booked online. The hotel receptionist simply told me “oh we’re updating the website sir”

I must warn you that your belongings are not safe in this hotel, my money was stolen from my bag and I sent them an email and no reply! 200 usd was taken from an envelop from my bag! When I sent them an email, they said we found nothing. When I sent another email assuring that they were in my bag for sure, they did not even reply!

Together with my 3 colleagues we booked 1 suite room. The room has 2 double beds and 1 sofa bed. Room is enough. They will initially gave 1 key card but you can request for another one free of charge. Hair dryer need to be requested. Breakfast is plated, serving is small, the same menu for the rest of our stay.

Clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and good English. But loud and noisy hotel. Beside our room were a big group in the room. Hotel should control more about the guests. Nice hotel but due to experience rating not very good.
