This hotel doesn’t train its staff in customer service , as far a we could tell as apart from the manager and the concierge the performance of the staff was woeful especially in the forth floor bar/ restaurant. We found that the food was cold when it arrived at the table as it was cooked on the ground floor then relayed up to the forth floor, the food took a very long time to arrive and one of the meals was the wrong dish as the waiter took no notes. I thought breakfast was average and I could not recommend it. Overall they need to pick up their game and train the staff in what customers expect when they pay out hard earned money

Nice hotel with friendly, courteous and efficient staff. The lobby is beautiful and the buffet had many good choices for breakfast/dinner. We did not have a chance to try the lobby snack area, pool or gym. Our room was spacious, nicely decorated. Only disappointment was the bathroom which needed to be updated (fixtures, tub). Also requested a massage in our room for both my husband and I. It was so appreciated and reasonably priced. Crystal is a jewelry store in the lobby which had some unusual nice pieces. The airport transport arranged through the hotel was convenient and on time. I would definitely return to this hotel when we visit Cebu again.

Stayed here 22nd-25th July & again on 28th July - 1st Aug 2022. Total of 7 nights(3 & 4 respectively). Generally, the whole process of check-in & check-out was fairly efficiently done. Kudos to front desk Patrick, concierge counter, restaurant & security personnels. Who were helpful when needed. The rooms were fairly big enough - we had a queen size bed & 1 super single for e 3 rooms during the latter part of our stay. Basic amenities & toiletries are replenished on daily basis unless u had displayed the 'do not disturb' sign at door or activate e request button. Beddings were comfortable though I would have preferred firmer pillows. Hotel itself has seen better days and perhaps a good refurbishment of the entire establishment would surely have more people coming back - a scene I had observed over at The Quest hotel which was a stone throw away. Restaurant(during b'fast - buffet) desperately needs an urgent upgrade. The spread is limited and barely enough - most stations were either scarely available or had finished. Would have rated higher if not for a bad experience we had upon returning from our break in Boracay. During check-in(returning guests) on 28th July evening - around 8pm, the counter staff(a young lady) & her supervisor(also another lady) were both rude & totally disrespectful and extremely unprofessional. There was an air of arrogance(more like sheer ignorance on their part) in the way they had conducted themselves. I duly registered my dissatisfaction next morning to Patrick who, I must add, was just the opposite to the 2 ladies encoutered the evening before. Eventually, after some checks, it was confirmed that my earlier reservation for additional room was logged in by a staff that I had spoken & confirmed prior checking out 25th early morning for Boracay ... a point that was rudely disputed by both the front desk ladies on duty 28th July around 8pm - one even a supervisory level!. Since when did front desk service stoop so low!. Totally unbecoming behaviour for front-end customer interaction. Still, 2 rotten apples do not represent the entire hotel. Luckily, the rest of staff encountered during our stay was both pleasant and courteous ... very pleasant!.

I specifically ask for a quiet room during my booking but they still put us in a room right above an event hall which was very noisy. We asked to be moved to another room and they promptly provided a different room. A bit of hassle especially when we arrive late at night and tired from the trip. The cable tv service was not working and safety box was broken but they are fixed right away. The first guy who setup our extra bed was nice but the next guy who setup the extra bed after we moved was grumpy. When we went down to the restaurant for our breakfast, they said we already had our breakfast delivered to our room. Apparently, their staff mistakenly put our room number on someone else's room service. Food was great but would have been better if they have mangoes. Overall, staff were friendly and room is clean.

After Boracay, revenge travel destination no. 2. Cebu island. We booked a one week holiday and 2 days was spent in the city in Parklane International Hotel . We choose this primarily because J is partial to carpeted room floors and sauna.  PROS: 1. Location just outside Ayala Center Cebu so easy access to shopping, restaurants and entertainment. 2. Room had all the trappings of a 3 star hotel. Comfy bed, hot shower, desk + chair, small ref, coffee making counter. 3. T&B had a bidet. Would have been great of a bathtub was available. 4. Sauna was a big plus. Most Cebu city hotels had non operational spa/sauna facilities as of our booking. 5. Simple but filling breakfast buffet. 6. Pool was compact but water was warm so workable.  COULD BE IMPROVED: 1. We indicated a special request at the time.of booking that we preferred a quiet room due to bouts of insomnia but we were still assigned a room facing the busy noisy road so our first night sleep was horrible. On day two morning we raised this issue at the FO and was given a mountain view room to transfer to after 2pm. A little hassle but commendable service recovery. Since we were out touring, they delivered our luggages to the new room while we were out👍. 2. Simple but fillinh breakfast buffet was the same every morning. May i suggest changing the unappetizing processed food ham to rotate a different protein daily...eg. fried chicken, tocino, bistek, etc. Small adjustment... Big win🏆. In conclusion, for the pricepoint, I would still consider this hotel but first check if they have big functions coz getting an elevator could be a long wait.

I had a fantastic couple of days in this amazing place. I lived in the philippines for 7 years and been to cebu countless times but didn't stay here before. The gym is probably one of the best ones in the city and the room views are straight from travel mags. The manager Jerome and Caryl the receptionist made my stay easier even I had some payment issues due to my credit card and were super accommodating and friendly. If you're coming to the city just stay here to chill, there is a jacuzzi, bar and pool on the 4th floor. Regards to the waiters Edelito and Joseph who were very nice as well🥰

We stayed there for two nights after new year's day and we had a great time. The location, the room, and the amenities were great. I was just wondering why no one came to clean our room even though the hotel was not busy at all. (They eventually came to clean after we called them to do so). Also, not sure if they cleaned the carpet. Nevertheless, our goal was to relax and spend quality family time and I believed we have achieved that.

Unfortunately, my chance to stay in this hotel for April 2020 was lost due to flight cancellations and travel restrictions going to the Philippines and in Cebu, itself. However, this review will be honoring the excellent service rendered by the people who attended me on managing my booking. Special Mention to Jeanjie Bastigue, the Online Reservations Agent, for her professionalism in responding to my mail even after the 48th hour. Well, we understand the traffic that she have accommodated and responded each and every hour was truly overwhelming. And also, to Wella Saguin at the hotel's reception for the "assurance" she gave that my concern will be addressed in due time when I called for a follow up and allowing me to understand the current situation the world is currently facing. As a hotelier, myself, I was truly moved heartily on how these people extended such an effort. These people, that they called as Kasaligan, are really the asset of this hotel. Still, we are hoping to be with in this hotel soonest.
