The hotel as a whole is really clean Facilities are all working though a bit old Free bfast is good Staff are polite Parking needs improvement. You need to come early or else you’ll be oarking beside the street
On the positive side, the hotel is in a great location opposite People’ Park and within short walking distance to lots of restaurants and a shopping mall. Breakfast also was tasty with a variety if local and western foods to eat. On the negative side, acessing TV and wifi was a constant source of frustration
The very UNACCOMMODATING and UNINFORMED frontdesk is what this place not worth staying in! If you ask something from them, they cannot give you any info and they always look for someone, another hotel employee, to answer your query. Poor endorsement system too! If you make a request at night, you will have to make the same request again the following day as no endorsment is made by the frontdesk you talked to first - you have to monitor your requests to make sure it is done, which is very inconvenient and unprofessional! Shows no concern to guests!!! Only one pillow per bed, if you want another one, you pay for it. Though it is located very strategically, this also means you have a very noisy room too as you can hear everything happening outside - so you tend to sleep late and wake up early. Their twin sharing room is quite small too for two people. Only the food served in the restaurant is good in this place.…
This budget???? hotel has a nice location (town center) where almost everything you want are nearby. It has clean rooms and hallways (but found it creepy because of dim yellow lights), strong wifi (rooms, lobby, function room). it has an elevator (nice for PWDs and pregnant). however you can still hear toilet flushing and draining from nearby rooms.
Very unaccommodating, very snob receptionist....davao is such an over rate city to spread rumours that the locals are friendly and warm?i really don’t think so,especially with this hotel that are always saying NO we cant,NO we cannot do that etc etc. Such a customer service, they were not trained to do extra miles for their customers.
THE GOOD comfy bed good bfast buffet room size is adequate in front of people's park if you need to unwind THE BAD wifi is spotty rooms are somewhat dark THE UGLY rooms are really dated and somewhat smells musty water pressure & temperature for shower wasn't consistent -- on my first day, the water pressure was really low and the shower didn't even get hot enough to call it 'lukewarm'. the following morning it was ok.
And I mean everything. Footsteps from above, out of tune karaoke singing (still going strong by 11pm), the drilling, dripping water next door, cars honking (it's by the road after all), and the list goes on... The upside: a 711 by the corner if you need to buy vodka to help you sleep.
pros> very good location, nice spread of buffet breakfast with good ambiance and friendly staff. cons> old and tired need some renovations , broken head shower as in old age haha and the towels? better bring your own 😜 . if you are travelling on a budget this hotel is for you
I was excited to see the rooms in actual for the pictures are convincing, sadly, the pictures are better. Our first room didn't have working aircon and I have a feeling that the room was not totally cleaned especially the bed sheets. WiFi connection is not stable, you have to call the Concierge to try restarting the maybe the router to connect again. We tried other services like laundry, we didn't expect to pay "that" amount for that kind of laundry service. The location is good, right in front is the People's Park, in Filipino idiom "isang dura lang" Breakfast is delicious anyway.
It was a bit cheaper than other same class hotel. But if the price is not so low, then you might go others. Location is not too bad. btw, I love cakes in this restaurant, egg pie, buko pie and so on....
