Facilities and resort itself were fine. Location is excellent. Everything was just OK except of their service, you have to call them to remind them about our breakfast, employees were not courteous at all. Lifeguard was not present/visible. Children below 3 years old has an additional charge which is ridiculous.

Excellent location, nearby SM Lanang and staff were very helpful (no ifs no qualms). We rented a family villa and 2 smaller villas. All were excellent, clean, and more than what we expected. Our villas were like small houses with kitchen, receiving area, large bedrooms, and clean bathroom.

At the center of the resort were 2 pools (adult and kid). And beside the pool was a large BBQ pit where we were able to enjoy and relax nice BBQ with our friends and family.

During our stay at Mamay Resort, the reservation was more than worth it. Wi-Fi was available at hotel lobby only, but we were too busy BBQing so did not really care about FB postings. Highly recommended especially for those who have family and kids.

The first time I've learned about this place was January 2016 when a friend posted photos of this resort on Facebook. The resort looks beautiful and brand new on the photos that it interests me to know more about the place as I was looking for a place to stay for my 6 weeks holiday this year in Davao with my family. Since I am also planning to hold a party for my relatives and friends I find this place ideal because it has amenities that would be enough to handle a big party.

I therefore sent series of inquiries asking for specific questions about the resort, fees, etc. Lo and behold, all I got from their customer service was a reply FULL OF ARROGANCE! Instead of politely answering my inquiries, I was told to just check on their web page because according to their customer service they only have limited time in replying individual inquiry. The rude response I got totally disappointed me. I never encountered this kind of arrogance in all my travels around the world. Not staying in your place will not ruin my holiday in Davao. I booked the world class hotels Marco Polo, Seda, and Parkinn, instead, for my entire holiday in Davao!

beautiful and nice find in davao, another option for expensive accommodation in the city.

i like:
1. the security inspection, little strict
2. so very near at sm lanang, drive away to ayala anddavao international airport
3. a village of its own! variety of types of accommodations to choose from
4. with adult and children pool - they change the water every Thursday
5. you can cook in your own house-room
6. the room is very SPACIOUS
7. heating system is so GOOD
8. parking area is provided beside your "house-room" which is very accessible!
9. the landscape of the resort is picturesque!
10. recommended for family/group outing

not so...stuff
1. since the rooms are like houses - the reception is in separate building
2. no laundry service - but you can wash clothes in your own "house"
3. the hotel is located near the runway of the davao international airport
4. the noise created by the planes is very noticeable
5. understaff/undermanned
6. hotel is very far from the maid road - need to walk to hail a taxi

Nice place , stopped off here after 3 weeks traveling and wanted to be close to the airport , it felt fairly secluded even though we were just off the high street , had the feel of a small gated community as the room were more like small semi detached cottage, modern clean with a nice swimming pool, kid pool and bbq area that was free to use. Excellent, would recommend it.

this place is near the airport. it's not a fancy hotel, but it's clean. a reasonable price for the rooms and breakfast provided for a price. you can stay somewhere nicer, but if you want to sleep and fly the next day, I recommend it.

We stayed at Sampaguita Villa for 2 nights. Priced at 1800 for 3 person. What I really liked about this resort is the affordability. Its recommended for family outings. The only problem we encountered is the cockroaches in our bathroom. When we arrived, we already crushed 6 of them in it. We asked assistance and they helped us by spraying Baygon all over the place. The staff is extremely willing to help though they can't control these creatures.

It was late night and we are still searching a room to stay, our cousin book here for room and we decided to stay here. The price was okay but we found out that the cr was clogged. The next day, they gave us another room but when we openned, it was not prepared and they are doing renovations. Lastly they give us another room where the karaoke machine was inside of the sala. Water is flowing on the kitchen sink, Nobody cares from their maintenance. The standard of this resort is very low. The breakfast was not included but you can order food to eat. It is near the airport, so you should bring airplugs to sleep. Some guest's are very noisy. Til 5 am they are shouting to make pictures. They did not even think that some guest are still sleeping.
