My wife and I went to Davao City to attend the 69 th birthday celebration of a cousin based in California U.S.A. .
As requested , we were given a spacious room with matrimonial bed . The breakfast "buffet" was very good with courteous and well trained staff .
The "Grand Ballroom" as venue for the celebration was orderly arranged and the food served was enjoyed by everyone.
The 17th floor lounge also offered a good place to relax between 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm with snacks , drinks and wines .
I can recommend Marco Polo Davao to friends and will stay again if the opportunity and time will allow.

The Marco Polo in Davao City is five star all the way. The room was spacious and had a good view of the city. The Breakfast buffet was the best I had during my two month holiday, both because of quality and variety. The staff- from Front Desk, to Bellmen to cleaning staff were totally professional and had the customer friendly attitude you like to find. Taxi's were easily available to visit day trip attracations. I will definitely use this property when I return to Davao.

toilets and bathtubs in rooms are needed to repair and improve. Toilets cant be flashed with tissue paper. Bathtubs water wont drain easily. Rooms are nice, Foods are good also, Staff members are very accomodating and friendly. Overall cleanliness of the hotel are also good, with lots of alcohol and sanitizer everywhere.

The staff were so friendly and accomodating. The breakfast was excellent and has several variety. There is an airport shuttle that is so handy when you have big luggages. The souvenir shops is just across the road and the night food market is a must try.

I chose this hotel because I had a very good experience the last time I went in to Marco Polo Ortigas. But this one, ohhh... Sorry but I am not that happy and satisfied.
The room smells bad, smells so smokey and I even called the room attendant I think 5 times just to freshened up my room still not good.
I am planning to come back to Davao. Not sure if will consider this one still.

I liked the security machine for all incoming baggage, it definitely made us feel safe. Their lobby is not the biggest but it was Christmas so it was well decorated with lovely ambiance.
Breakfast is decent. Good selection of food.
Room is clean, quite old furnishings, the pool is small.
Very close to the night market and shopping malls.
Visited 2017. We will be back.

Homie feels when staying at Marco polo hotel. Having a very clean and accommodating staff/crew is a plus factor in selecting your hotel/accommodation. We stayed here for two nights after getting marrie. They upgraded our room and also I like that they are supporting the Philippine Eagle Foundation.
Everything here is perfect. Our room is facing Samal island which is a stunning view. the breakfast they serve has a lot of variations.
Definitely worth staying when you visit Davao City.
All hotel staffs and people of Davao are very friendly and welcoming.

This hotel is conveniently located in the heart of old Davao.
Good security at the entrance. Check in was swift and efficient and I was soon in my room. Bed was comfortable and the room nicely appointed. Good sized bathtub with good working hot and cold water.
Good WiFi eventually - I was given wrong password initially but worked once corrected.
Breakfast was hearty and sufficient. Nice roast ham and nice omelettes. Only at the hotel for one night so no opportunity to enjoy the leisure facilities.
The Eagles Bar was nice and friendly. Reasonably priced beers and live music that wasn’t overpowering.

My daughter's first time to come for a visit and I told her about this hotel.We have the best view, the Night Market!!!. She loved eveything in this hotel, from our room, the view,breakfast, the decor and the accessibility to the centrum. The night market is the bonus. Oh, and of course the staff are helpful. Highly recommended.

Having 100 people is not a problem, I like their reception area by the pool and even the place where breakfast was held that time... buffet is perfect and very accommodating and nice staff...
There are more places to choose from in the Davao City area.
