Linens on bed are thin and rough. Towels are nice though. Bathroom was dirty when we came in and all the water in the hotel stopped working just as I was about to shower. The air con doesn’t pump out cold air fast enough to actually cool down the entire room. Only come if you really need a budget hotel.

My friend and I were so excited to see the place for we want to catch some sleep after our travel from Samal. As soon as we arrived, we were not immediately greeted by the people at the reception for they are chatting happily. When we made our way to be recognized, they gave us our keys and told us that our room is at the 4th floor. Little did we know that we have to made our way there through stairs. The room was clean though the sheets, blankets and pillos are kind of smelly, as if someone used it before and nobody from the staff dared to change the sheets for the next occupant. Worst thing is that, as we go and prepare to sleep, mosquitoes and another kind of insect bit us incessantly even after we put insect repellent. I slept with my blanket covering all over my body, even my face. We left the hotel with a lot of insect bites (seriously) in our legs and other exposed areas of our body.

This inn is budget-friendly, but there are other place to stay with the same range of price with much better service. The hotel staff is not that friendly and accommodating. The rooms are not so huge but its clean and silent though. But the hotel location is really nice very near to major locations and easy to ride a taxi or jeepney.

I'll never forget how the crew talked to us after asking them politely to clean our room since we've been there for two days already and for the third day, we want it to be clean.
We do understand that their job is not easy and we respect that,
but the thought of being a shock absorber for all the pain they've been through in their job and their management?
Talked to us in a way na para bang kasalanan pa namin na nag check inn kami na dumagdag kami sa pasanin nila?
And that feeling na yung parents at nanay mo na may edad na who were asking them politely at pinagsalitaan ng hindi magandang pakinggan as a daughter and a customer?
My Oh Myyy...
Sa lahat ng hotels and inns na pinasukan ko, ito lang so far ang pinaka di ko malilimutan na pangit na experience.
Sounds not good but I'm sorry, it's true.

there is a total of 200 rooms. and they are 200 m apart.
both are clean. both have free wifi.free soap and tissue.
the cost of a Fan room with own bathroom and tv at the Sampaguita tourist inn on Quirino
ave was Just php325 a night.
and a Fan room with own bathroom and tv at the Sampaguita tourist inn mt mayon street
was from Just php300 a night.
A air.con room with own bathroom and tv and hot water was from php525
there are also Sampaguita tourist inns with the same owner in Naga 2x Legaspi. masbate. and Nabua. and with same name in Cebu 2X and Daet.

In many years of travelling this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I once stayed in a B & B above an abbatoir and the experience was more pleasant than staying at the Sampaguita.

Blood on the walls, cockroaches a go-go, no towels, seedy characters hanging out in the foyer and most incredibly, an earshattering vibration from the bowels of the building every 20 minutes or so. I think they must have an earthquake machine in the basement.

I stayed for one night and ran screaming from fear in the Morning. The place is a living hell. Avoid at all costs.

first of all there are two sampaguita tourist inn in the same area sharing the same owner only 30 meters apart from each other. i am writing about the large one that is located at the main highway which is called quirino ave. the location is perfect: close to everything in walking distance. this hotel will not accept reservations in advance, whoever shows up first will get a room first. rooms are simple but rates are very cheap. they have double rooms and rooms for families with multiple beds.
the hotel is mostly frequented by filipinos. when we stayed there we also met many people from all over the world and made friends with them. the coffee shop in the lobby is a very good place to communicate with other people, it is not cozy but for any reason it makes people talk to each other. if you do not want to talk to anyone, you can use free wifi. also the girls behind the bar are very friendly and jolly. unfortunately the women at the check in are exactly the opposite.
if you want a cheap hotel in davao with basic comfort you will hardly find a better place.

I arrived in the Davao City for a review class together with my 2 friends and has no place to stay yet so we opted to check in in Sampaguita Inn. The room has a very poor maintenance. I wonder if they have changed the bedding from the last checked-out customers at all. The staff aren't accommodating nor approachable. There were full garbage cans and scattered trash along the hallway. Yes it is cheap and the location is really good. It is very accessible to the malls, transportation, hospital and park. If there's a need to increase the room rate to improve the service, I suggest they better do it. The inn could have been better, a lot better!

I am referring to the newest sampaguita located along quirino. It is a budget accommodation yet the front desk personnels have the WORST customer service ever. They are very discriminating. We arrived @ 1pm and was advised check in is @ 2pm, however the room will be ready by 3pm. We waited but still unattended @ 4pm. I noticed a japanese customer who hardly speaks english, walked in w/o reservation @ 2pm & he was accomodated right away! Another group of rich looking family arrived @ 230pm were also accomodated right away. We were so tired since we were already on the road @ 8am. I really wanted to freshen up & rest. We wasted couple of hours waiting at their uncomfortable receiving area. I TOTALLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE, THERE ARE A LOT OTHER BUDGET INN W/ THE SAME PRICE RANGE YET STANDARD SERVICE. The guard dont even greet you upon arrival. They are not concerned if you are feeling uncomfortable waiting in vain. Undelivered promise. We have to follow up only to be told to JUST WAIT. The staff should all undergo training especially customer service. They should consider that most of the guest here are travellers and it means a minimum of 4hrs on the road, ours was a tedious 5hrs travel + 3hrs waiting? Definitely not something you would wish to happen! If you still stay in this Inn because of its popularity then goodluck and better bring a lot of patience especially on weekends and summer!
