Location is quite alright, some few eateries around, on the main road there is a swiss baker! The Rooms are very new, clean and tidy. I felt very relaxed in there. The pool is just in front of your door, very pleasant! Nice garden to have breakfast in.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Very beautiful property and a great place to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of any big city. I have worked in the hotel industry in the US for over 20 years and I must say, I highly recommend staying here.

Located in Davao City, Domicilio Lorenzo is within a convenient 5-minute walk from the entertainment hub Matina Town Square and 1,500 feet from NCCC Mall. Pros: - clean rooms, beddings, pillows - nice toilet and bath - cold, split type AC - has a nice swimming pool - common kitchen is available where you can cook Cons: - gated hotel, we had a hard time looking for this property as the gate was closed - no breakfast, though they offered us free coffee and bread - no lifeguard - staff and crew seldom smile, seems they are tired I will probably look for another accommodation but will still recommend this place to my friends and family members, if they wish to stay for 1 night.

Hotel is within close proximity to fast food joints, bakeries and convenient stores. Which is a good thing because they don't have a restaurant here. Although they will still serve you free breakfast in the hall which is basically toasted bread and butter with coffee. Swimming pool is available to all in-house guests. Not all rooms will have a kitchenette but they give you an electric kettle with complimentary coffee. Check with the hotel before making an online reservation. Not all rooms are big. The garden chalets are lovely and face the pool if you're lucky to get one. It's quiet here and beds are comfy for a quality sleep. Checkout Matina town square for wide selection of restaurants.

I like that it has a swimming pool. Room is big. Comfort Room is big. Water is strong but they need to check on their heater. You can either bath in extremely cold or hot water. The entire place has a homey (and smell-y :D) feeling. They should isolate their kitchen from the main house. At that time, there was a strong smell of someone cooking fish stew (paksiw), its smell is all over the place. They should do something about their lumpy old pillows and thin blankets that smelled of stale laundry. These items are important to have a comfortable and relaxing sleep away from home. Garden is lovely but mosquitoes are everywhere. For the price of the room, I expected a full breakfast instead of the basic coffee-rice cake (bibingka) and fruit combo.

I booked in at the Domicilio Lorenzo Apartelle because we were attending a wedding at San Pablo church. It was a nice accomodation, clean, friendly staff. Nice swimming pool. Negative comments: No power point in the bathroom. Noisy music from the house at the back. They played music and was loud at 5am. Apart from that , the accomodation was very good and breakfast was yummy. It’s near the SM ecoland.

+ I liked the space of the junior suite, the privacy, the kitchen where I was able to cook my own food, the place is really beautiful - the house itself and the pool, the location was good - there were convenience stores, restaurants and SnR walking distance from the inn. - There was no food available, coffee was only available at a specific window of time in the morning, the internet was really poor, the computer provided for printing the boarding pass couldn't connect to the internet and wouldn't print properly. The hotel guide book was worded in a way that felt like they wanted to protect the property from potentially misbehaving guests rather than being warm and welcoming and taking pride in what they could do for guests. The staff were nice though they were not proactive in assisting and you could tell they weren't professionally trained for this. I hope that their management will study how to improve the service and internet, give it more warmth and soul. I really really liked the physical attributes of this property an wanted to give a fantastic rating.…

Stayed at this place 4 times. Rooms are decent, clean and has the basic amenities one need. Their pool, their pool is divine and well maintained. Would definitely recommend this to couples who are looking for a chill place with a pool. Near MTS too, which is a plus.

Room 8 4 night stay. The good: Location, staff went beyond the norm to accommodate, cleanliness, big balcony, quiet, great WiFi, very clean pool, comfortable beds, large room. The bad: Nothing really, only some in-between items. The in-between: AC started dripping inside along the window on day two, we were immediately offered another room, but declined because we loved our room with the balcony. Safe was never fixed, didn't really care for it, this place is very safe. Breakfast is skimpy, they should offer something more substantial. Also, toiletries are on the cheap side. Overall this place is wonderful and tranquil, and very close to MTS. Will definitely stay here again.

Very casual apartment type hotel in Davao with wonderful garden areas plus a beautiful pool for swimming . But after my 4 th or 5th stay here I was hit with a horrible checkin and very arrogant front desk clerk . Not the usual kind ladies that I know but a young man who seemed could care less about their guests and if they ever return . Will be my My last stay here from that experience . What was new is I was hit with after I booked a room for 2 and at check in was that I could swim free but my guest staying with me needed to pay to swim . Wanted more money upon checkin. Odd at best as never before have I been requested to pay for the other person in the room as an up-charge after I had paid Hotels.com full price and taxes for my room prior to arriving and booked for 2 persons. It Is the principle of Undisclosed Fees which I detest from a property and not the amount. Undisclosed up charges which Hotels . Com and Trip Advisor both need-to be aware of when quests consider their total charges to stay at a property and using their website to determine a hotel. I wasn’t charged when I checked out because I complained but I asked a hypothetical question if I came with my wife and 2 kids and booked our room that way, the actuality is only 2 could use the pool / we would have to pay for the 2 kids to swim. Never in all my travels have I heard of or ever been charged for a booked family at a property-to be charged additional fees for their family to go simply swimming. So I just say buyer be ware . These charges or not shown on the web site and should be shown to guests looking for a hotel room in a disclaimer of additional charges upon checkin. Again hidden fees to a hotel guest and being hit with upon checkin is not appropriate to increase their room charges at a property per room. Thumbs down to what was great hidden gem in Davao after this - experience. …
