Overall great resort and park. Enjoyed it very much with the family. Having a toddler and a baby, you are able to enjoy the surroundings and even many of the facilities. We did dear feeding with our 3 year old who loved it. There is a huge playground for him to enjoy although some of the equipment needs some maintenance. We were also able to enjoy the pool which was clean and surrounded by beautiful forrest. In general just walking around in the park is a lovely experience. The cottage we had was clean and proper for our family of 4. A suggestion would be to provide baby cot as I imagine many families are visiting. We were fortunately able to bring our own. Another suggestion is to increase the variety at the breakfast and dinner buffet. For example a second juice option, some vegetarian option. The service we experienced was excellent. When we asked for a shuttle service it alway immediately arrived. When we asked for housekeeping service, it was immediately provided. Overall every encounter we had with the staff at any location was pleasant and they were always helpful.…
The park is huge. Lots of activities to choose from.. good for families. Lots of trees around. We saw around four peacocks roaming around the place freely. It is approximately just an hour away from Davao City, just make sure you make transportation arrangements to and from the City. Visiting Eden nature park is a must, when you're in Davao.
We booked the vista cottage at 4,500 PHP per night which is inclusive of a buffet breakfast. PROS: 1. Cozy clean room with a screened in balcony overlooking the woods with a brook. The room however is not air conditioned, but the cool mountain air is enough to keep the room temperature comfortable. 2. Lots of activities within the sprawling resort! One must stay for around 3 days and 2 nights in order to do all of them. 3. Great food at the fisherman's village and fisher's grill CONS: 1. Around 30 km from the city center, quite hard to book a taxi. Best thing to do is to charter a vehicle, or you may ask the front desk to call a taxi for you but it may take an hour for the taxi to get to the resort 2. Limited food selections (just adobo, egg and pancakes for our buffet breakfast) and average to goodish food quality in Vista restaurant 3. Not all the vista cottages are accessible to those with impaired mobility. Our cottage (Vista 3) and other adjacent cottages (Vista 1 and 2) would require guests to pass through two or three sets of rough gravelly steps. 4. Signs of wear and tear in our room eg. Tissue paper holder was falling off, phone was not always functional …
A really good place to bring your family to enjoy nature! We took the guided tour and learned the history and saw the beauty of the place, there is also a good halo-halo place beside the tour center. They CR is so good to stay since natural fresh air is constantly flowing. We took the fishing village lunch and enjoyed the taste of our own catched fishes! It was so fun. We also tried the skywheel(faced my fear) enjoyed the view while being like a hamster crossing the metal wires. Lol. See pics.
I have had an overnight stay at Eden with my family and it is a tropical paradise . They had almost every arrangements for a family day out . However there was mild earthquake during our stay but the the staff were reassuring and caring . There are room for activities for all age groups .
We spent 4 nights in this relaxing place of Eden. One of the cleanest, refreshing place i've ever been. Breathe like you are in Paradise, surrounded with trees and the chirping birds. Full of adventure and the food are fresh from the farm. Must try the homemade icecream, halo halo, the salad and freshly catched fish. Guided tour was also fun including the photo taking😍 Very good customer service. They are all accommodating starts from the frontliner to shuttle driver to maintenance to housekeeper. Just that room needed a little bit of renovation and must secure the locks for peacefulness of the guest.
amazing time i spent over eden and the resort is so nice and feel like i m in jungle and the hotel and room are amazing with the upside reception. amazing to spend time over there and its been so nice and amazing experience to me
We got a room at the Gardenia cottage which was large enough for four people. We were surprised to find out there was no airconditioning unit in all the rooms. We realized there was no need as it was cold during the night. Amenities were very limited but we had a comfortable sleep. Since the cottage is far from the activity center, we had to call for pick up service every time we needed to go places. Food was typical and nothing really special. There wasn't much choice when it comes to dining. The fishing village allows you to fish but you have to pay for the catch and have it cooked. There were ample places to visit for the one hour shuttle tour but enough to give us an insight to the park, the tribes and beautiful pictures among nature's best. There are many activities that may be enjoyed by the youth and some comes with a fee. The guides and staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a good experience to be with nature, where trees abound, flowers bloom, animals like peacocks and deers are just around the corner.…
This place is very good for people who love the nature. I visited this place when i'm still a child and visited again after years passed, hoping I will discover new things. I was dissapointed when I went back to this place, there is still the beauty of nature but I suggest they add new activities and entertainment for the tourist for improvement.
My sisters and i came here yesterday to get a cozy and refreshing ambiance which we really got. We didn't regret coming. The place and staffs were nice and well-trained. The food is good, plus the view is perfect. We really had some good time here. I would recommend this place.
