After 2 years of not traveling, my first plane ride was to Davao City and stayed at Acacia Hotel Davao. My pleasant arrival experience started from the airport when I was picked-up by the gentle giant Jong. Upon reaching the hotel , despite the very busy hotel as seen in the number of guests converging in the lobby and coffee shop, I was given the warm welcome by the efficient and dashing Front Office Manager Ian , the energetic Banquet Sales Manager Booker, and the gracious Marketing Communications Manager Izza. Notable too are the friendly staff wearing smiles on their faces, willing to assist and serve. Food at the Coffee shop and the Chinese restaurant was good. Had the privilege of also meeting the Hotel Manager Agot Serrano. It was evident that Agot is key to a happy team, Leadership from the top. Indeed, it's the people that make the difference.

Room space was comfortable. Water in the bathroom was strong. Bed linens & pillows are comfortable & clean. The only recommendation is to put side table lamps. Staffs are polite & helpful. Food in the buffet table is average

Excellent new midrange hotel in Davao City just few minutes walk to SM Lanang. Very spacious, nice hotel lobby with beautiful chandelier. Buffet breakfast was good but not great with less food selection. The room allocated to us was facing the pool and is huge with comfy bed and pillows. The Staff are polite and welcoming. The swimming pool and the gym so lovely! It is a great hotel, definitely good value for money. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone coming to Davao with less budget but would want to experience a nice beautiful hotel. When we were there, every morning for breakfast the restaurant were packed of people wearing campaign Tshirts of a Party List political party that meant to represent marginalised people. I hope they were not using people’s money for their stay at Acacia Hotel.
