We're back for a second time. The high caliber of service and the atmosphere never fail to please us. The staff was very friendly and well-trained, especially our room attendants Noela and Adar, and the housekeeping operator Bryan he really made sure all our need we met the staff was really kind and knowledgeable. I also want to thank Oliver for being helpful and attentive to our requests. The housekeeping manager Ms. Marife did a terrific job selecting and training excellent staff members.

Special mentioned Aizzle deserves praise as well for providing us with all of the assistance we required. The restaurant service, Ruffa Mie and Niño, the staff and the breakfast were all outstanding. I wholeheartedly recommend the Acacia Hotel.

Aside from the excellent staffs and location, Acacia Hotel also have some delicious and fantastic foods that you can try. The buffet was great more than I expected, I couldn't think what to try first because all the food look delicious but anyways!
Great Job Acacia Hotel!!

The hotel is located at J.P. Laurel Ave., which is one of Davao City's major roads. This means you may experience high volume of traffic. On the other hand, cabs and public transportation are readily available. It is also walking distance from SM Lanang. There are no 24 hour convenience stores nearby.

Step inside and you are assisted by warm and helpful staff. They provide you with a key card, which opens your room and restricts your access to other floors (a wedding coordinator's nightmare). The room came with a small ref, iron and ironing board, safe, clothes hangers, bath robes, hairdryer, your usual toiletries, hot and cold shower, TV with cable and WiFi internet. The room also has a small couch, small table, and work table with chair. The room is big for its price per night; and best of all, it is clean. They provide you with 2 bottled water, and you can probably ask for more. Unfortunately, there are no water dispensers in the hallway or anywhere. The internet speed is just good for one person having a conference meeting, and access is limited to 3 devices. One last thing I didn't like was the noise in the hallway can easily be heard in your room.

Outside your room, you'll find swimming pools (1 for adults and 1 for kids), gym, and a restaurant which serves your complimentary buffet breakfast every morning. The buffet breakfast is average. If you brought a car, I hope you didn't bring a large SUV. The basement parking is a little cramped, and is better suited for small or medium sized vehicles.

All in all, I did get a good night's sleep. Stay here if you want to be near a mall. The staff and guards are very helpful and will go out of their way to please you. Kudos to them and the management.

I'm not the type to leave reviews but I can't let this one slide. Of all the hotels we stayed locally and aborad this, by far, was the worse. We arrived in the hotel an hour later than check in time so we assumed our room was ready upon arrival. Front desk staff informed us that the room was not yet ready and we have to wait or if we want to go somewhere, we can still go so we won't have to wait long in the lobby. Considering we came from a long travel, we wanted to rest right away but couldn't. We ended up going to the mall first and waiting for their text. Toilet was also reeking of smell from broken pipings. We had someone who just got a major surgery with us and we prioritize her comfort over anything so we chose to stay here but the smell gave all of us headaches. We got transferred to another room on our second night but the internet on the higher floor was too slow and often gets disconnected we had to resort to using data. We asked the hotel staff about it and we were just told "lots of people are using it today." Breakfast buffet food was colder than your ex's heart. They should have a food warmer. Front desk staff can smile and be more accommodating. I know it's a tough job facing different kinds of people but try to smile more while facing guests.

We arrived at 3pm for check-in and got shocked that the line was too long. It took us 30-45mins to check in. The room was not yet ready for occupancy. The front desk staff was not accommodating and doesnt even feel sorry for the long wait. The toiletries and bath towel was not prepared in our room and we need to call housekeeping for it. Luckily, housekeeping and other staffs in the hotel are very much friendly and accommodating.

Anyways, the room is clean and big (stayed in king size deluxe room).

I will still recommend the hotel since it has a very comfortable bed and relaxing view of the City of Davao, which is the very purpose of our stay.

Moving forward, I hope the front desk staff will have a little bit of compassion to their job since we can consider them as face of the company.

Stayed here for 2 nights since it’s just close to the airport. The room was huge but dirty. The bathroom was gross & moldy….yuck! The bath towels are not white & worn off (i thought its a rugs). The breakfast buffet is awful. For the whole stay, i only had boiled eggs & coffee the rest of the foods taste weird. If you plan to purchase a breakfast buffet along with your accomodation, i advise not to do it rather go and check for it first or just pay for a day. Don’t waste your money. The mall is very close from the hotel where you can have very good breakfast of your choice. There’s only 2 small bottles of water in the room so if you need more, you just keeps on asking. Lets go back to the towels, as i mentioned, it looks like a rug. There’s no rug in the bathroom we use few of it as a rug to prevent my toddler from falling but guess what? Upon checkout, they tried to charge us for a misuse of towels & they showed us pics of towels in the floor. Really? Its disgusting. Our whole stayed in Acacia is like staying in a motel….or maybe motel has better & clean towels! We will never go back nor recommend this place. There’s so many to complain in this hotel.

Our stay for the month has been nothing short of warm and welcoming. All the staff are friendly and helpful making it pleasant to be there.

Gracesa Pardillo always made sure our room was made up on time and did a great job in making sure our room was squeaky clean.

Will definitely be coming back.

Unfriendly front desk and Incomplete Kit. Front Desk does not know how customer experience works, does not disclose the correct information. They had to check if the room is available but onsite there are few available. Should have provided lotion and shaving kit. Room AC vent is dirty, should have made sure that dust and cob webs are removed. Other hotels in the area provide better service. It is my first time here but already a terrible experience.

Dear Acacia Hotel Management

It's been 6 days since we first all foot in your hotel which these because our humble abode comed this pandemic after a long, tiring journey from UAE to DAVAO,were been greeted and welcomed by the people of davao and Acacia lanang hotel, khit galing kmi ng Dubai Jail

In this trying times one humanes will be measured by how we take care of each other. While we are away from the comfort of our cozy beds, your room attendants never failed to make sure that we'll go back in a comfortable settings.

I may not be able to name everyone who keeps making our stay here, exciting fret there's someone who surpassed my expectations. Renz and their team Phoebe, Paul and Felix many thanks to m'princey, m'fe ,m'venih and Kylie's little shop for sharing generously your usual clothes, made sure that I will not just be given with proper attention but became a friend during these difficult times.

There team truly deserves a special commendation, while working & keeping our rooms and our needs met, he consistently took the initiative of uncovering what's lacking and completed it without anything in return.

I would like to thank the Hotel management and thank you so much OWWA Region Xll and to belaved Pres. I will make sure that after this, we will be here with my family and friends knowing that we will get the same excellent service.

Satisfied
I have to write a review for the hotel staff. Under the Housekeeping Manager, Ms. MariFe Tagalog, thank you so much for the great staff! They made our stay more comfortable and had the most caring and passionate staff I’ve ever seen. I don’t know all the staff's names. But I met some of them who assigned the housekeeping, namely Mike, Adar Aizzle, and the housekeeping operator, Bryan. Thank you for taking fast action on all my requests.

The front desk staff and others were such great help to us as well. A special mention goes to Ms. Lali and Ms. Angel. They went out of their way to make our stay a little more manageable. Thank you so much!

The pool/gym attendant, Mark, was very professional with us; he handed us towels, oriented us regarding safety, and expertly answered our questions.

I just wanted to say that my overall experience has been really great. All the people I met, from reception up to housekeeping, were all friendly and courteous. The facilities were also great, and the overall ambiance was really awesome. They maintain a complete set of amenities. I love their toiletries because they are classy and of a high standard. highly recommend Acacia Hotel Davao to all my family and friends.
