Staying in this hotel is like staying in your own home. The owners, Mr. Al Tolentino and his wife "Tita" Norma (I hope she doesn't mind me calling her Tita) are very hands-on and definitely one of the most accommodating hosts I have come across with ever. When I was asking for directions on some places where I can shop for fruits and pasalubong, Tita Norma even offered to accompany me (that's beyond customer service, I know). I enjoyed having conversations with them because I get to learn a lot about Davao, including their own travel experiences. What really touched me was when I have mentioned during one of our conversations that I am avoiding red meat as much as possible and Tita Norma went out of her way to prepare fresh fish for my breakfast complete with sweet lanzones and banana the following day. And because I have mentioned that I prefer boiled egg than fried, I have boiled egg for my breakfast everyday. The room, including the toilet is very clean. Towels and linens are fresh. And surprisingly, wifi signal is very strong. Piazza Luna has made me even more excited to be back to Davao soon. Just a tip. Most taxi drivers are not familiar with the place. Simply tell them it is at the back of DPWH near Sta. Ana Elementary School or better yet, use Waze, Google Maps and other similar app.

We had fantastic experience during our stay in this hotel. We received the warmest welcome from the hosts/owners and treated us like part of their family. The breakfast was overwhelmingly amazing! We have also tasted the best cassava cake ever! On top of this, we had a personal tour of the city at night for free. We would definitely come back here again in the future. this place is highly recommended! Thank you!

Ive always been picky when it comes to the places to stay in when travelling. But now ive finally found my newest favorite place to call my home away from home when in Davao. From now on, Piazza Luna will definitely be my only go-to haven in the city. Class and comfort at its finest. Not to mention the unparalleled hospitality shown by the owners themselves. Ive never been to a place as home-y as Piazza Luna! Now, im recommending it to all my family and friends!

Last Kadayawan festival was a blast. We had a long haul flight via Cathay Pacific from San Francisco California going to Davao. It was my 2nd time experiencing the flower festival as I am an avid fan of floral arrangements and nature explorations and what better way to retreat from it than a restful helpful stay at Piazza Luna. My best friend and I booked a 3 day 2 night stay here online via Agoda. Since the price was reasonably affordable for what the place had to offer. Hot and cold shower, cable TV and hospitable staff to cap off the night. The stay was exceptionally very accommodating as the staff was nice enough to give me a first hand experience of the guided city tour as I discovered that this place also offers day and night city tours at discounted price. I also had a chance to mingle with their other guests and exchanged pleasantries and experiences about their travel during the festival and their stay at this place. The place is artistically modern and surely one I would call home when in Davao. Thank you Piazza Luna for the wonderful experience.

I book two rooms for 1 night stay for me and my 2 newly wed friends as a treat for them before heading to their honeymoon in HongKong and before i head back to Europe. It is also a night for us to celebrate since I wasn't able to attend their wedding last July. I booked the hotel online and got my booking reference through my email. The hotel look fantastic on the website and I thought it is a great place considering it ranks higher on the trip advisor review (for some reasons). A couple of days back i was check in at another hotel in Davao city- Green Windows it is very close to different establishments. Considering that the price of Piazza Luna is the same as the previous dormitel I thought I will get the same service and experience in terms of facilities, rooms and location. But NO! The location of this place is quite far from different establishments and in fact the surroundings of this place is quite depressing. With shanty residential houses around it. Also when we checked in after our long trip the woman and the man (I assumed are the owner) from the reception insists that we need a print copy of our booking even though i showed them the booking reference through my email. I don't understand the logic of giving them a print copy since most of the hotel and even airports are okay with showing your ticket through your phone. The worst comment the guy had ever said to me was "If you are really a traveller, you should have a print copy" The nerve! And he started bragging about how he travelled different places and boasting about it! Instead of telling us to settle to our room first and discuss the matter later on they insist that we give them a print copy. They only allowed us to go to our room when we told them that we want to put our stuff in the room since they were heavy and we will look for a printing shop. The worse part is that, We have tried to look for a printing shop to print our ticket and there is none! nearby so we have to walk quite far! I told them if it is possible if I just sent to their email the booking confirmation but still they insist that they need a printed paper copy. The establishments are quite far too, when me and my friends wanted to get our dinner we have to get a taxi to get us to the main street where we can find decent restaurant and coffee shops. The interior of the place looks CHEAP! In the afternoon they started making their dinner and the whole place stinks of fried fish! I don't know if they have exhaust in their kitchen. The room are too tiny and the bed looks like the hospital bed! This is the worst place I ever stayed at. And I strongly discourage guests to come to this place. A piece of advice to the hotel management. If your hotel is not that great at least provide a satisfactory service to your guest and DO NOT brag about yourself in front of your guest It is NOT about YOU! It should be about your guests and their comfort!

I do not even know how and where to begin writing about this fabulous place i would now love to call my home away from home in Davao. When traveling, I always opt to book in a clean, comfortable and cozy place. Considering the very affordable and reasonable price I paid for my 5-day stay here at Piazza Luna, I would have not expected to have such a 5-star experience! The place was so spotless, classy and very sophisticated. Hot and cold shower, cabled tv, wifi inside the rooms plus the very high tech electronic key cards one would not usually have in non 5-star hotels. Everything was just beyond superb! Not to mention the unparalleled hospitality that the owners (it is a family run business, by the way) and staff have shown not only me but the other guests, as well. Without a dout, Piazza Luna is every traveler's home away from home. I will definitely be back and recommend you to my friends and family!

Piazza Luna Tower is a great example of a place where you find comfort and affordability. . I love the place, it is so clean and modern. I like the people, they are very friendly and accommodating. And lastly, you will definitely get your money's worth. No doubt this is one of the most high ranked hotels in Davao.

This place is indeed a jewel of the city. We went here with friends from out of town to explore the city and go scuba diving in Samal Island during the day time but wanted to feel the warmth of what Davao City can offer. The place is centrally located in the downtown area and easily accessible by cab or public utility transport. After a long day from the hustle and bustle of the city, Piazza Luna is the place to rest, relax and rejuvinate. The place is very much clean, cozy, very good ambiance and excellent sevice is always provided since it is a family run business. Price is very much reasonable. I would highly reccomend this specially to first time travellers going to Davao since they also offer daily tours. Thank you Piazza Luna and staff we had a wonderful stay.

Paid 1500php (1 night no breakfast) after supposedly 20% discount from Expedia which makes it's the most expensive room i've paid in 45 days in the Philippines and certainly it hsant been the best room i've had. Recently done Room on 2nd floor no lift, nicely enough decorated but nothing to write home about. Electronic card locking system, not easy to operate but u have to ive credit for the investment i guess. Fair size but really nothing special there , have had bigger for less; hot water : couldnt make it work , shower 4 streams of water out of 25 holes. TV (thru internet box) : looked like small choice of channels (didnt see bbc or al jazeera) before i cocked up with the 2 remotes and could never put it back on tracks. went downstairs to ask but owner away. was just there 1 night so never had a chance to ask owner about tv and shower , presumes it works when u get the right person to look into it. Location : no shops or restaurants nearby , taxis (they dont know anything anyway as a rule and never have a street map) find this place impossible to find even when given the nearest landmark KPWH. Owners : nice enough like everyone says but not there often . anyway , i jumped on this hotel on the back of tripadvisor comments which are extremely flattering and was disappointed by value (got a palace suite in manila for 1320php) , location , and shaky appliances (except for the aircon which works VERY well and has an effective 'sleep' mode). In all fairness, was my last night in the country and wanted to treat my GF with something nice and assumed stupidly raving comments and 1527php would buy me heaven which is naievety on my behalf : This place is not bad but it s not great either.

I went to Davao to experience the Kadayawan Festivities that I had heard so much about. And since I am travelling alone, I wanted to find a place that is similarly much like home. As I was scouting about tripadvisor, I stumbled upon and noticed that Piazza Luna Tower is not only number one in bed and breakfast category. It also has the most greatest review. Indeed that alone made up my mind in booking there at once. When I arrived, I had the most surprisingly warm welcome I received from Ashley and Ginger. They are the dormitel's adorable and lovable pets. I was well accommodated and the rooms are gorgeous and comfortable. I feel like I'm just in my own room. They offer generous and deliciously homemade meals at an affordable price especially whipped by the beautiful owner, Mommy Norma. They also offer tour guided trips inside and outside the city, by the handsome owner, Daddy Al. Their staffs are courteous and helpful. My expectations for the Kadayawan Festivities were accurately met and Piazza Luna Tower has outdone whatever expectations I had from previous reviewers. :) I stayed here for five amazing days and four relaxing nights! I was completely at home! Thank you to the wonderful owners and staff of Piazza Luna Tower! I definitely will be coming back and will continue to endorse you to my family and friends!
