Dusit Thani is simply the best option in Davao. This is our third stay here, and the hotel is still maintained well. Service is great, food is delicious, every evening there is a live music in Siam lodge with cocktails, very good food and ambience in a Thai restaurant, a good massage in a spa (but expensive), a playroom for children. I requested hypoallergic pillows and linen and was provided. The view from a small balcony on Samal island is very nice and relaxing. The kitchen in the room is equipped with everything you need. Wi-Fi is satisfactory and sufficient for Zoom conferencing if needed.
Regarding the negatives, the drain in the shower does not work. Every time we took a shower, we had to call the room service tech to fix the problem. We encountered this problem during our previous visit, and it is still not resolved. I think they need to fix all the pipes in the building. We also noticed that the breakfast is not as good as it used to be. They seem to be reusing dishes from days past in new salads and dishes. On our next visit we will not choose the daily breakfast.

The breakfast time is from 6AM to 10AM and we were 15mins late. The buffet had been cleared away and the kitchen is preparing for lunch. The staff were very sorry even though it is actually our fault. Then they asked us if we will proceed to eat even if all they can offer will be hot chocolate and bread only. We gladly said yes and proceeded inside.
To our surprise, the staff prepared a full breakfast meal for ate Ann and I. They served us more than what we have expected. What we thought to be a light breakfast became a very satisfying and impressive one. They were very kind and accommodating.

I requested a feather free room both before and at check-in, and the desk assured me that all their rooms are always feather free. The room was not feather free, it turns out, so I ended up with a reaction after laying in bed for 15min before I noticed, showered, redressed, and called the desk. The after effects of this reaction derailed the subsequent several days of my extended business trip.
Furthermore, the layout and wayfaring information at the hotel is absurd. No signs indicating where anything is, despite only some elevators going to certain rooms in divided wings. And the most absurd thing ever? “P” in the elevator stands for “Podium,” which is the lobby floor, while “G” stands for ground but just takes you to the parking level!

Our experience with Dusit Thani Davao is definitely one for the books! A trip that was supposed to be for business turned into a warm luxurious vacation. All because of the Hotel’s ambience and our room’s interior and room services 😊 Hotel’s location is near both the beach and the city. The food was remarkable. Served fresh and hot. They even have their own gourmet bakery, the banana cake is a must try.
Managers were also very impressive when it came to accommodating their guests, especially Ms. Marge. All of the staff were very hospitable too and very attentive to our needs and concerns. This was a very memorable experience for me and my family.
Thank you so much, Dusit Thani Davao, till our next visit. Definitely a must try experience for every traveller whether you’re after a business and pleasure type of vacation or just a relaxing, unwinding one with family.

I was thoroughly impressed with the cleanliness of the room. Upon entering, I immediately noticed the fresh, clean scent that filled the room, which set a positive tone for my stay.
The bed linens were spotless and crisp, clearly changed and well-maintained. The bathroom was immaculate, with gleaming fixtures and a sparkling clean shower. There was no trace of grime or mildew, and the towels were fluffy and pristine.
The floors were vacuumed and mopped to perfection, with not a speck of dust to be found anywhere. The furniture surfaces were dust-free and polished, and even the often-overlooked areas, like behind the curtains and under the bed, were spotless.
Housekeeping did an exceptional job throughout my stay, ensuring the room was refreshed daily with the same high standards. Overall, the attention to cleanliness at the Dusit Thani Hotel was outstanding, making for a very comfortable and pleasant stay.

We stayed at this beautiful hotel for 4 nights and it was amazing! The first thing you will see is the security guard at the entrance of the driveway, as well as at the entrance of the hotel. My family and I felt very safe with all the security presence.
Next, we appreciated how friendly and accommodating the staff was. From our check-in to our departure, everyone seemed to be genuinely interested in making sure we were enjoying our stay.
General Manager Christopher should be commended on how well he trains his staff to be extra attentive to the guests' needs, and Cherry and Karla at the Front Desk went above and beyond to help us during our stay.
The buffet breakfast was delicious every morning with many options, and the Thai restaurant on the ground floor (Benjarong) was delicious as well. The lobby bar had live entertainment every night we were there, and it was an excellent place to enjoy the Filipino hospitality.
My children enjoyed the pool and I enjoyed the fitness center. And we all enjoyed our stay!
Thank you again for the outstanding hospitality, and we look forward to staying here again during our next visit to Davao!
