The positive is the rooms are very nice and modern. The restraraunt has nice food. If you like gambling it is walking distance to a casino. The negative is the swimming pool was always very dirty alot of insects in the pool. The wifi was never working when I stayed there.

I highly recommend the Tropika Hotel in Davao City. The staff were all very accomodating, helpful & efficient. The hotel is very private & restful. I will definitely return to Tropika Hotel in future visits to Davao.

The pool area is very pleasant. We found the hotel quiet, there were no noisy guests when we were there. It is not well known by taxi drivers (but say it's next door to the Grand Regal and they're OK)

Had an overnight stay in this hotel for this is near at the Airport and i found it very convenient. Would like to commend all the staffs for they do have the good customer service. So welcoming and accommodating with all wide smile on their faces. Though the room needs a little improvement, in the shower area, plastic makes it looks cheaper and not durable, the exhaust was not also working well.

The property is a homey place for our family stay. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The airport pick up was very prompt and convenient. The room is well-maintained and always clean. Our bed is always made up, the trash taken out and the towels fresh. Room service is excellent. Food is also excellent at Aseya. Hotel Tropika is a home away from home. <3

3rd Year staying at the Tropika...Outstanding room service & housekeeping staff...very welcoming, safe & polite accommodations...Complimentary breakfast is very good...Swimming pool is a great Bonus & good length to do exercise...Pickup service to & from Bangoy airport is outstanding....Great location to connect to other areas of interest on Mindanao...Will be staying there next time I am visiting Davao.
