I was happy staying here after a long timely abstinence because of Covid-19. Slowly but surely in this hotel, times are getting back to normal. A big congratulations to the whole staff during the best it could too.
Stayed for few days here. Location is good. Security is friendly as well as the bellman. Room is neat and clean, but there is awful smell of cigarette in the hallway and inside the room. My husband found a small cockroach in the side table. 2 water is complimentary. The rest you have to pay. Tea is not available in this hotel. And we’re having a hard time since phone is not working, so we still have to go down or call them using our personal number to request something.
The room provided is not always consistent but with the same description which is a disappointment. The food is not that good and needs improvement given that it's really expensive, we would expect atleast a 9/10 star quality meal. Pros: clean and modern Overall the stay is okay room service gets delayed though
I stayed in Blue Lotus during the COVID-19 pandemic and this hotel is just obsessed with cleanliness from the main lobby guards, reception, elevators up to your room... everything is sanitized! My room reminded me of a Korean drama (K-Drama) where every feature is conveniently high technology. You can avail of guest services (housekeeping, room service, etc) through your room TV and should you need to adjust the room temperature, all you need to do is call the front desk and they can adjust it for your remotely. My suite is clean, full of amenities one can find in luxurious hotels and while lacking of a good view, the hotel service makes up for it. Checking in and out was breeze as well. Will definitely stay in Blue Lotus again!
I remember the place when I visited China in October 2019. The hotel equipped with excellent room fittings and amenities were very nice and comfortable. I stayed one of the junior suite of the hotel and the bed is really relaxing. The buffet was owe some, value for money indeed.
The hotel from the looks of it is just a little over a year old. Its conveniently Located along the highway , so its not so hard to find. The lobby is quite spacious with welcoming staff . The rooms are adequate and very clean . For its price , I would say its value for money !
Great service and good pricing, we booked 1 night but added 1 more since it was so nice. We are coming back in January. The pool was really nice and we were alone there. Ordered extra pillow throgh the TV, they came with it in just 5 mins. Really friendly and nice staff. The hotel is brand new and very clean.
The hotel was recommended by a colleague in the Philippines. Stayed for 4 nights about 2 weeks ago. It's a brand new hotel ...just soft opened 2 months ago. My room was...very comfortable and above all CLEAN. Facilities like the gym and pool was not ready for use as landscape works were still on going. I was told it will be ready in early August. Breakfast was served at the View Restaurant located on the 7th floor Roof Deck. Superb view, almost 270 degrees view of the City and Gulf of Davao. Unfortunately, the breakfast was so so...needs improvements. Dinner at their Laut Palace was excellent (Malaysian Cuisine... mix of Chinese, Malay and Indian). Reasonably priced. Staffs were very cheerful and friendly. Will definitely return to stay on my next visit to Davao.
we yesterday had a weddingparty in this new hotel. the food was excellent. a fusion between malaysian and chines food. staff was very happy and had a good eye for the customer. if they keep up this level i think they will be full in no time.,
Heard about this new hotel. Had a hard time looking for real pictures of the building, rooms (all were just artist's perspective), etc. as it seems like it's still on soft opening. Nevertheless, the hotel delivered, the staff were really eager to please, and they respond quickly to email inquiries. The hotel is located along a wide boulevard. The facade is nothing special. You can hardly see the entrance to the lobby as the front of the building shares space with its in house restaurant. Check in was quick and smooth. When I inquired about breakfast, I was a little surprised when the receptionist responded with "Chef's discretion". I was aware that it was a set (and not buffet) breakfast, however, as with most set breakfasts, you have a choice of the usual: continental, Filipino -- tapsilog, tocilog, etc. -- or American. This was not the case as I verified it again -- you have no clue what you'll get! I then asked what if the guest has allergies; you simply inform them what you can't have and the chef will just think of something else :D Receptionist asked what time would we like breakfast served in the room -- I thought she was joking. Apparently, there is no (or it's not functioning yet) cafe. There were 2 elevators though I can't remember if both were functioning. The hallways to the room were a bit dim for my liking but everything was new -- carpet, paintings, etc. In fact, I found the elevators quite dirty with post construction dust, fingerprints, etc. Entry to the room was with just a tap of the card. The air-conditioning control was high tech -- I'd never seen anything like it yet in other hotels I've stayed at locally and internationally. The room was comfy, it did look like the artist's perspective. There were coffee making facilities with bottled water; a hairdryer; a refrigerator; and bedroom slippers. There was a mobile-looking phone which you could use to contact the front desk (didn't bother to use it much). The TV had enough cable channels and you could also order amenities (shaving kit, etc.) through it. No closet but there was a vault and hangers. There was no view outside the window :( It was some sort of space between buildings. In the bathroom, the toiletries were enough for two persons and water pressure was good. However, the water didn't go down the drain after the first person showered so we had to call maintenance. They were able to resolve it quickly. The handheld bidet was weird -- it didn't have a handle to press; it looked like a garden hose :D Breakfast was served at the room at the time we specified. It was indeed chef's discretion -- we were served adobo (can't recall if chicken or pork) and rice; since one of us doesn't eat egg, it was replaced with pancit. Except for the egg, we wouldn't have those food for breakfast. Juice and fresh fruits were also provided. Nevertheless, it was tasty and filling. They should still do a lot of and thorough post construction clean up. Staff were nice and warm. It was easy to get a taxi and there was ample parking space as well. I'd stay again at this place!…
