My Hotel is located in San Pedro Street. Being in the center of town, conveniently situated close to business hubs and commercial establishments, you wouldn’t have to go far from your place just to meet your needs. Restaurants, pharmacies, and convenience stores are just around the corner. The City Hall is a walking distance away. Transportation to-and-from the hotel is also very easy that you wouldn’t have to worry about missing meetings, or tour schedules.

If you are in a tight budget, then this maybe the best choice. We booked for the cheapest room to sleep during the night. The room is clean, has tv and a fan. Well, just enough for what we paid for. The attendants are helpful as well. The area is near the city so this is one of the perfect location when you want night life

Being on walking distance to many local malls and the people's park of Davao and many other places within reach of just 1 jeepney fare this hotel offers a great location for a base camp. The rooms are huge and very professionally cleaned on a daily basis. Only drawback is that televisions are somewhat oldish, but you can not expect the world for just 995 peso for a huge double room with aircon. There is plenty of floor space and if you would be staying for more days or the hotel is not fully booked you can ask for a room on the street side which offers street view over this part of Davao. It must be said though that the rooms on the street side are also more noisy as several of the local establishments love playing loud music to " attract" customers.
Nearby are many eat-all-you-can buffets and I can certainly recommend to try : the Green buffet haus 148peso pp, crossing Legaspi/Luna street, Apung Kula Ihaw Ihaw, 135 peso pp, Rizal street and Sy Bee Tin, i think it was 125 peso pp in Anda street.
Malls on walking distance are for example the Gaisano Illustre, which is somewhat oldish, and the Lachmi mall where you can find nice local bargains. Within Jeep-ride-range are all the famous local places like Victoria Plaza, Gaisano Grand mall, SM Ecoland and SM Lanang. Reception personnel is helpful with any questions.
a bit of a setback is the quality of the wifi signal in the hotel. Although every floor is provided with several access points the local administrator does not seem to have the proper knowledge to make them all work together properly wich results in significant " down" times sometimes. This certainly needs improvement.
The hotel itself also offers an optional eat all you can buffet. Although the price is fair with 127 per head the variety and "yumminess" of the dishes is somewhat limited in compare with some of the places you find in the surrounding streets as mentioned.
Altogether a nice experience and I would certainly recommend this if you are looking for an affordable and most of all VERY clean room in the center of Davao.

Stayed here for 2 nights in a single deluxe room on the 6th floor. Room was quiet and air condition and hot water was working good. Bed and bathroom is clean. Hotel is walking distance to most attractions , shops and restaurants. TV has many channels to view. Restaurant has a dinner buffet for 100 pesos eat all you can. Taxi from airport to here is about 20 minutes and cost about 160 pesos. No problem with the jeepneys as San Pedro Street is one of the main roads which they pass.Would recomend this hotel who wants clean budget hotel right in downtown.

Stayed for two nights in a Fan Room. I got the one with the TV so I paid Php 300. I should've gotten the one without TV for Php 250 because the TV just had 5 local channels (not even all the local channels are there). Location wise, this is near almost everything.

The single fan room is quite spacious. I think I got a room which smelled quite old - I can smell something every time I enter the room but it disappears as your nose gets used to it I guess. The room had a sink which proved to be useful if you want to just wash or hands or brush your teeth - no need to go to the common bathroom. There are three common bathrooms in the floor. Sometimes, they are all clean, sometimes, only one would be usable - because the other bathroom is quite dirty to use.

A basic choice for basic needs. Can still be a choice for budget travelers.

We have stayed at this hotel many times in the past and noted many good things about it and still consider it our favorite and the most economical place to stay in Davao. Many of the issues raised by other reviewers make me wonder where they think they were staying and only paying P995 per night. If you want budget expect some issues. You can not have a budget hotel and expect a mint on your pillow (exaggeration, but you get my drift).

The one thing though that stands out for us and this has been the same issue at each occasion that we have stayed with them is that the staff early mornings do not realize that people are sleeping and that we pay to sleep in a hotel. The term quiet seems to be lost to them. Yes, this is a budget hotel and noise from the street or such nothing can be done, but even a budget hotel can train staff to SHUT UP at 530 or 6am. For some reason, they feel they must yell and scream to each other across the floors or up the stairs Staff does not realize that they sound like a bunch of banshees and complaints seem to fall on deaf ears; maybe deafness is the cause of the loud screaming and the cause of their SISS. What is weird is that around 9am, things get very quiet for the day for the most part.

The rooms as noted in the past are very clean but basic. Hot water can be great or none at all. Housekeeping staff are friendly and cordial and just plain cute. Some other reviewers complained about the front desk, but we found them to be efficient and friendly enough with no gushing smiles, but who cares. Many days, the towels were arranged in cute designs of ducks. We never had a problem with knocking on our door in the morning by housekeeping staff, as we had a do not disturb sign on the door, ha ha, I guess the SISS staff did not see that (no knocking, just screaming). I have never seen mosquitoes in the hotel and have been there many times.

The area around the hotel is not appealing for some but we found it safe, even with people sleeping on the streets etc. No one ever bothered us, except for the prostitutes on the corner of a young age that always asked my husband for fun or if we wanted a threesome (is that what they call it?). It really did not bother us, but I can see for some to be a turn off, ahh on. Just be aware that you are downtown and as any downtown city that is what you may find.

Davao is a great place to eat on a budget. MYHOTEL is no different with a BUFFET of 9 dishes, plus fruit, plus cake and a free ice tea for only P120 or USD $2.90 thereabouts for dinner, great deal. There are many great places to eat nearby also. Peoples park, Rizal Park, Supermarkets, etc are all a short walk. Taxis are plentiful and there are no hassles with the meter being turned on.

We will stay there again and just hope that someone at the hotel will read this and cure the SISS so staffs know that we pay to sleep not to listen to the cry of the banshees at 6am.

Davao is a great place, enjoy it and if on a budget stay at MYHOTEL, just bring ear plugs. .

+I made a reservation to this hotel for our company will be giving seminars to a group of professionals in Davao. I booked for a function room and a De Luxe Room. A day before the function I called up and asked if they have service vehicle for transportation from the Airport to the Hotel, and sadly they don't have any service vehicle. They advise me to take a taxi instead. When I arrived at the hotel, the staff were very pleasing and very accommodating. When I entered the room, I was really shocked that bed faces the door and the mirror faces the bed. They don't have Feng shui in the room. And the most weird is that the lavatory is at side of the bed beside the mirror. I don't know what was the reason of the interior designer or the architect of this bldg. On why they put they lavatory outside of the comfort room. the comfort room is big enough to put the lavatory. I just don't get the art of this hotel. And the room has so mosquitoes. And one more thing, they put in their ads that every room is a WIFI ready, but its not... I rather use my broadband.

Dear Mr @Jayapandian V, Our guests are very important to us and we are very sad to hear that your stay with us was a nightmare. We regret to hear about the noise caused by our air conditioning and sincerely apologize for that. Rest assured, we have already looked into it. In addition, we take pride in our cleanliness and we are glad that it has managed to reach your expectations. We do have various room sizes, and all our premiere rooms are bigger, more spacious and have views of the city. We do hope you give that a try next time during your future visits here in Davao City. All the best. S. Uy General Manager

It was a 400Php room. A solo trip. There was just an electric fan inside the room, much more than what I need since I'm asthmatic. There is a functional elevator but you're more than welcome to use the stairs. Good value for your money, especially if you're out most of the time to explore the sights.

A basic and budget hotel which will suffice for those needing a clean, cheap and safe bolt hole in downtown. There's a few decent restaurants and coffee shops nearby and San Pedro street has jeepney buses to all parts of the city. The rooms are depressing with drab interiors and a fading budget and basic look. Tip : book direct and save 30% vs Agoda ; also rooms on the back on a clear day get MT APO views.

No. We just reserved the room via phone call and we paid the same day we arrived. They'll be asking for a security deposit of P500 on top of your bill.
