The stay was very good in general.

The rooms were clean and spacious. Some of the rooms were designed really well (room 11-Well-thought off spaces, extra storage, nice room configuration) but some have design flaws(room 4-some of the sleeping areas are not usable due to ceiling obstruction and mite problems, Bathroom door seems see through). There are 2 bathrooms on the bigger rooms so that’s good for a large group to use.

The staff was very accommodating and friendly. They respond immediately to requests.

The food especially the cakes and pizza tasted really good (but it's a little on the expensive side). They have a wide selection of food but the service is a bit slow especially on peak hours.

The grounds was very nice and has lots of open spaces to just walk around and sitting areas where you could just hang around. We have a dog with us so he really enjoyed roaming the grounds. They have a pool so you could go for a swim. This place is really ideal for wedding receptions and garden parties and would look good at both day and night.

I recommend this to people on mid budget and doesn’t have the time and energy to go too far and take a plane ride. This is good for families or large groups. They are senior citizen friendly, kid friendly and pet friendly amenities.

My family and I haven't been home in the Philippines for 12 years, so we made the best out of our 7-week vacation last June and July. We traveled as far as Vigan and Tagaytay. One of our best highlights was our two-night stay in Casa San Pablo B & B. We were immediately captivated by the architecture and design of the property which is unlike any other resort. Casa San Pablo gives a relaxing and fun atmosphere with all the artwork and antique home pieces that bring a unique character. The room we got can accommodate ten guests and my children loved how the floors and beds are artistically situated. The trees, flowers and fruits around the property were also a very welcoming touch. The best thing about Casa San Pablo however are the staff who are very personable and courteous. They all made sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. My family and I definitely shared wonderful memories here so it would be nice to return again someday. Thank you to our wonderful host and staff at Casa San Pablo - Mabuhay!

The food is palatable and just right for its price. The dinner and breakfast settings was great during our stay. I love the pizza, the frappe, and pancit. Those are my favorites.

The innkeeper and the staff was very hospitable and accommodating. Its just that the cashier was not able to record my payment at the counter the moment I ordered our snack. Maybe because there are alot of people but I think she should be more mindful and careful.

My kids had fun with clay art. Though it doesn’t started on time and we did not anticipate that more time is needed in that activity that’s why we were not able to proceed with our afternoon swim and if we do there will be a conflict with film viewing at 6PM. But then, the film started late and it’s dinner time.

The family room is great. It is spacious and peaceful. But, the floor is quite dusty, and both comfort room have a bad smell that I think is coming from the drainage. We just closed doors so we will not smell it and we could sleep well.

The path way and floors around the needs scrubbing because it is quite slippery.

Our stay is thow thumbs up!

My girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay. The place gives you a tranquil vibe. We were happy that we booked during weekdays as we literally had the pool by ourselves. The room gives you this snug feeling along with its antiquities and I commend the craftsmanship of the furnitures. The breakfast offered by the Cafe is superb. On our next visit, we are hoping that the gazebo together with the concrete arch vine landscape should be lighted to bring out the highlights of the place especially if one plans on having a romantic night. Other than that, everything is highly rated!

This is my 2nd time to stay in CSP and the 1st time was way back 2008 (with family). I was very delighted to see how different it was from what I (vaguely) remember.

My bestfriend and I stayed at Room 13, which can comfortably sleep 4 but there were just 2 of us so the 2 single beds in one side of the room were combined to make it a double bed. We liked how the layout of the room worked out for us both, kind of like having our own bedrooms but only with a sliding door that separates us.

Both sides of the room have a/c but the one closer to the bathroom was an older model and extremely noisy, and most likely contributed to me not having a good night sleep on our 1st night. So the next day, I just asked for a fan instead and that solved the problem, was able to sleep better on our 2nd night. We also had some trouble with the bathroom sink, pipe got busted and was leaking water. Thankfully there was a drain right under so no flooding happened. We reported it the next morning and it was fixed by the time we came back that afternoon.

Food in the resto was good, and very convenient because we didn't have to go out just to eat. Perhaps, our only comment is they always have unavailable items in their menu, and the waiters do not seem to be aware so they'd take our order and then come back to inform us sorry, not available. Suggest just making sure the staff knows, or just mark them accordingly in the menu, to save time, and less disappointments.

If there's any room for improvement I can think of, probably to upgrade their beddings/pillows? Also to go easy on the fabric softener because the smell was quite overpowering.

We didn't try the pool but it looked pleasant enough. We did try the in-room massage, a hit or miss as my masseuse was good enough, the other wasn't, but no biggie.

Overall, a really pleasant stay. I would not mind going back and will perhaps bring my family as well.

My bestfriend and I LOVED how quiet and home-y the surrounding is, even if there are other guests; and also the very cool breeze the blows around. It's a very relaxing place and the kind that us overworked corp slaves just about needed to face another busy work week. Internet speed wasn't too bad either, and we both thought it's a really good place for a few days of remote working. Hopefully they offer this deal on weekdays eventually? :)

We didn’t expect that a place like this exists in the middle of a bustling city of San Pablo. They housed my family of 9 in a rustic cabin surrounded with trees and bamboos. From the sound of frogs and crickets while it rains when we hit the sack at night to the rooster caws as we open your eyes in the morning it’s priceless. The exemplary architecture and design of the main restaurant is an attraction itself and the manicured grounds will bring you the nostalgia of colonial times. The art gallery unveils the owners’ personal art collections that is wildly interesting and the pools are great while you wait for your breakfast order to be done lol (we actually jumped in just because we can). It’s crazy that every food we ordered here is just next level goodness! Owners Boots and An didn’t waste time introducing us to the scrumptious “kulawo” which is endemic dish in San Pablo. They are also very gracious to fire up their custom designed brick oven that spits out one of the best pizzas you can get in the Philippines crafted by their Neapolitan pizza chef. They serve these every night at the gazebo area that hosts live music too! Once you step out of the property grounds Pure Gold is a few steps away to your right and SM City is just a 7 minute ride away to your left. Spending half of my adult life in California I’m really thankful I get to experience this as a package and share it with my family too! Many thanks to Boots and An and also to Rizi and Bingo Flores who introduced us to this amazing gem of a place!

Not as fancy as some claims.
We arrived on a rainy day and parking was full of mud. Walking paths looks like small pools filled with water.
At the entrance security guard first question was personal information, and if we had the vaxxination certificate (natzipass) as discrimination against the law and humans.
Inside the restaurant, foods have a huge prices, and the most annoying was the fact that owners was around, and same time the most noisy among all other guests. Definitely not a relaxing dining experience.
Probably I won't return back ever due owners way to loud talks that everyone could hear all over the property.

Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback. It seems we got carried away entertaining our guests. We do like to mingle but now we can see that we may have been a nuisance this time. We are sorry you were disappointed. We hope we can welcome you back and make it up to you. Next time, we can offer you space in our new terraza, where you can have more privacy.

No available phone in the room, they just give cellphone numbers for every area like front desk, housekeeping and cafe but everytime we dial and contact them, they respind the following day. We prdered food to be delivered in our room at around 730 to 8pm but they did not reply even to our calls. When we went to the cafe and ordered food at around 9pm, they said that we cannot order anymore. We also ordered the breakfast meal the night before, i think its the continental breakfast with bacon but to our surprise, they did not have bacons the next day, instead they replace it with longganisa. The crews are friendly, it is a nice place and the food are good but a little bit expensive.

Cute restaurant & setiing
Very friendly and helpful staff

But.. you can see the property needed some maintenance, specifically the pool area.. And so many nice reviews but I didnt get to relax at all & they lock down everything by 10pm?

Not much to do, especially when it rains
Food was okay but not as delicious as what the reviews say
Beds weren't that firm - back & neck ache in the morning
Bathroom floor was slippery.. we placed a towel on the shower floor to avoid our toddler from slipping

Couldn't help but comment that maybe this was a nice place in the older days.. but the pool area kinda looked like a scene from stranger things TBH.. really not relaxing

Not worth the 2 hour drive from Manila

Maybe okay if you're driving by the area and will have lunch or merienda & a quick photo

We are very sorry we didn't meet your expectations. It's also too bad that the weather limited what you could do during your stay. We will look into the concerns that you have raised: the upkeep of our pool, the condition of our beds, and the slippery shower floor. We do hope that we can make it up to you on a future visit. Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback.

Its our second time to stay in Casa San Pablo. First was just me, my husband and our french bulldog. We initially stayed at the boutique room with garden view. This time we tagged along my inlaws and stayed at the boutique family room with garden view. Room is spacious! Its the farthest one from all but if you want peace and quiet, its the best room for you. It also has quick access to the greeneries so it was good for dog walks. We keep coming back mainly because they are super pet friendly and the owners are hands on and for me that’s very admirable! You dont see a lot of owners being as hands on as them! They even assist in taking orders! As some one who worked in hospitality and first Class, it’s plus plus plus plus points for me when the owners come out and mingle! Because we do this too onboard for our customers best experience.

One point to improve is the toilet in Room 16 had black ants all over. The room offered 2 toilet and bath but we only used one since one of it had a lot of ants and alos had a foul smell coming out from the toilet bowl.

Wifi is only available in the restaurant. Non or weak signal in rooms.

Food is amazing!

Hi! Thank you so much for appreciating how we do come out and take care of our guests personally. After twenty five years as innkeepers, meeting our guests and looking after your needs ourselves still gives us such a good feeling. I am sorry to hear about your unpleasant experience with the toilet. Black ants are a constant companion in fruit orchards like ours, but we will certainly do our best to keep them away. As for the foul smell, we got our plumber to work on the concern right away. We hope to see you and your pet dog in Casa San Pablo again.
