May be the staff could focus more on cleanliness, e.g. under the beds were not cleaned. Dust accumulated on the corner behind the side table and on the exhaust vents in the T&B Room. Safety box were drained of battery and in locked mode. It is not used since I am not allowed to get out of the room. Fortunately, I am tested negative otherwise the poor cleaning of the room could have a detrimental effect and a cause for blame. Please advise your concerned staff to be diligent on cleanliness in general as what most hotels stated on their IHG Statements.

Please be assured that we have called the attention of our housekeeping team to ensure that they strictly and consistently adhere to the Richmonde Hotel's standards in cleaning our guestrooms as well as other hotel facilities. The management is also in the process of replacing the batteries of the safety deposit boxes for the use of our guests, even if they do not go out during their quarantine period. After arriving in Manila, my family of four stayed at this fine hotel during our 10-day quarantine period, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. The rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped; the food is great; and the receptionists and other staff have been very helpful and supportive. Even our young toddler was happy throughout our stay. We highly recommend this wonderful hotel!

I used to stay here at this magnificent hotel but lately when we booked for a vacation last December 2019, things were not what they used to be. the airconditioning system was not functioning very well. my gosh it was humid inside. The T.V got sounds but has no image, it was pure black and I called for the technician to repair it. It was restored but in a little while it got black again. It seems that even their monitors are too old for an expensive hotel. Even in their on-line booking, it did not include the breakfast so it looks affordable on paper when in fact it is expensive as there was no breakfast. Probably, they just wanted to lure their customers to book for this Hotel. Sorry guys but this is reality.

The interface of some online booking sites such as Booking.com can become confusing at times especially when there are options for room rates with breakfast or without breakfast, and for single occupancy or double occupancy. Unfortunately, their presentation is standard and not within our purview, thus, we recommend that bookers read carefully the rate inclusions and terms and conditions to avoid problems upon check-in. We also highly recommend booking directly through our hotel’s official website for guaranteed best rates online, or by sending an email to our Reservations Department so that we can directly address any concern you may have. We likewise apologize for the inconveniences you encountered during your stay, especially with regard to the air conditioning and television. Rest assured, we have coordinated with the concerned department to check on our A/C system and ensure all are cooling properly. In addition, our Housekeeping staff are reminded to make sure all appliances in the rooms are in good working condition. We booked 2 rooms (deluxe and 2 bedroom suite) and the rooms were not available by 2pm. The receptionist said it still needs to be cleaned. We were able to get inside the 1st room by almost 3 pm and the next room were available by around 6 to 7 pm. Since we had to attend an event, the room was just used in the evening and my daughters weren't able to enjoy the room that's supposed to be ours since they had to wait for us to comeback from the event. The access key were given by around 7 pm. My mom wasn't able to cook dinner since the 1st room that was given was just the deluxe room. Hopefully, it won't be the same next time since we love Richmonde and waited for so long till the hotel became available for leisure booking.

not impressed of the “return guest” promo. cant choose any from the room service menu to enjoy the 15% discount as it is a lousy menu. at least a menu to look forward whenever you are in a hotel and not at home. ended up on deliveries and takeaways outside. i felt like there is no executive chef and dir of fnb in the property since the buffet was lousy as well. croissant is not available nor a sour dough bread. no soup. basic expectation is not around.
room is just ok but you can see a broken drawer, few ants on the table, not so clean bedside lamps.
we enjoyed the heated pool.

Bathroom sink clogged and strainer was wrapped in electric tape.
Maintenance guy who came to fix the sink did not bother taking off his shoes and walked all over the carpet all the way to the bedside. Advised me that he will be back to fix it, never came back.
Lights could not be turned off as controller was broken. Had to sleep with lights on.
No ethernet port, but wifi is okay.
Iced chocolate tasted like cheap hersheys syrup mixed in water. Fresh orange juice costs 330 pesos. Even more than several appetizers.
Reservation contact email is inactive despite it being listed to accommodate inquiries.

Lack of toiletries supplies. Day 1 , theres only 1 small tube of shampoo and 1 small tube of toothpaste. I have requested additional shampoo and provided only 1 small tube. Just to check the quantity they will provide.

Our goal has always been to provide our guests with comfort and convenience, even more so during quarantine stays when movements are restricted to their rooms. Thus, we deeply regret to hear that your stay was not as pleasant as we wish it could have been. As mentioned during your check-in briefing, all room amenities including toiletries, bedsheets, and bath towels are replenished and replaced upon request. This is because quarantine hotels no longer do make-up room service daily and our housekeepers cannot check when you have run out of supplies. While we anticipate that guests would need more than 1 tube during their quarantine stay, the consumption of each guest varies. Thus, we depend on their request to know when to replenish their supplies. Had we known that you needed more toiletries, we could have sent you more. We also apologize if you were not satisfied with the meals we provided. Since package-included meals are based on a limited cycle menu, we understand how this could seem repetitive to those who stay for more than a week. Nevertheless, we shall look into further improving our menu to provide better variety of dishes. But as an option, we also have available packages with healthier meal options for a minimal additional charge. Guests can also opt to book our Room+Food Credit package so that they can choose their preferred dishes from our Room Service menu. We regret if these alternatives were not offered to you during your stay. Despite the concerns you mentioned, we hope that the other aspects of your stay were satisfactory. The Richmonde Hotel was probably very grand once upon a time, but it is definitely showing it’s age now. All the basic amenities are there, but feels like a step back in time.

Only stayed 3 days, 2 nights, but room was not cleaned even though the “make up room” button was pressed. Was very disappointed after coming back to the room after a long day to find that the room was not cleaned.
If you are a smoker, there is a smoking room on the 2nd floor, but the door is so heavy you need all you body weight to open and close it. And if there are a few smokers in there at one time, there doesn’t seem to be any ventilation to clear the smoke.
Bed is rather small, on the shorter side if you happen to be tall
Overall, if you need a quick 1-2 night stay, then Richmonde is perfectly fine. Probably more suited for business guests on a short stay rather than families on an extended trip.

Despite being older than other hotels in the area, we strive to keep our facilities clean and provide quality customer service to our guests. Thus, we deeply regret if you experienced some inconveniences during your stay with us. It is our standard to provide makeup room service in all guest rooms daily and to prioritize the cleaning of rooms that have been requested for servicing. Please accept our sincerest apologies if our Housekeeper missed out on cleaning your room despite your MUR sign. This is definitely not in accordance with our procedures. As much as we would like to investigate this matter further, we are unable to do so without details such as stay dates and room number. Nevertheless, please be assured that we have reiterated to our Housekeeping team to strictly follow our standards and ensure that all rooms are cleaned daily, as well as to pay attention to the MUR sign requests accordingly. Our smoking lounge is equipped with a smoke eater to help filter the air in the area, however, its efficacy is reduced when there are several smokers at a time. But we will look into this to ensure that it is working properly. Despite the concerns you mentioned, we are glad to know that you appreciated the warm and friendly service of our staff, as well as our convenient location and good Wi-Fi connectivity. yes, SM Megamall takes about 10-20 minutes to walk depending on your pace, and the area is safe at night as well as it is well lit and there are some policemen roaming around.
might as well know that Shangri-La mall is also 10-15 minutes away, and the Podium is around 20-30 minutes away.
