Stayed here for my mandatory quarantine. As my title says, space makes all the difference, especially if your confined to quarters for at least 5 days. Its nice having a separate kitchen with a nice size fridge and microwave, living room, bedroom, and dining area. Just have a few constructive criticisms: 1. The shower glass pane needs to be replaced with a sliding door - having no door makes for water splashing on the bathroom floor - very messy and annoying. 2. The netflix option on the TV is nice, if it only works. It does not connect to the internet of the hotel. When your confined to your room you need all the entertainment you can get. Other than that, every thing was good. Special mention and shout out to MARGE who took care of me at check in, she is lovely and personable, and very understanding and accommodating within reason. Also to ERIC who assisted me with my luggage.

Being an Astoria member, Our quarantine stay for 5 nights was like being at home with the clean room and amenities with a majestic view of sunrise and the very good breakfast meals and ala carte dishes. Worth mentioning are the very friendly staffs from airport to house transport transfers to check in to room service up to check out on the 6th day. Jigs who arranged our check in and check out was very accommodating and did superb service up to a smooth send off back home. Please keep up with the job well done. Stay safe.

As member of AVLCI and first time to stay here for Quarantine it is dissapointing to see big cockroach and small flies in the room. It is very unhygienic whenever we are having our meals and resting on the bed, small insects are going to our faces and food. The furnitures are very outdated and not to my expectation. The wifi is very unstable, I have to use my personal portable WiFi. There is also a foul smell and lizard poop in the cabinet. I wish we can communicate to the other Head department as we sent few emails prior to our arrival to avlci customer service but no one get back to me until we arrived at the hotel. The customer service manager also did not do any service recovery and only sent a one time generic apology email. We requested for free shuttle service from the airport to the hotel but they advised that it is chargeable of P2650.

Extremely outdated hotel. Only booked bec of location and kitchenette. First night- aircon in bedroom DID NOT WORK! AC Unit couldnt be repaired, so moved rooms.. Bathroom heater in 2nd room didn’t work. Did not bother to hve it checked again. No aircon in hallways! Boxed quarantine food was bad we only ate 30% of meals.. - breakfast lunch dinner has minimal options. There were 3 consecutive days we were served with the same batch of chicken cooked in different sauce. The full board meal rates are expensive for the quality they serve. It was about 80% white rice everytime. *should have stayed at the other nearby hotel* Bathrooms are disgusting- shower water goes everywhere, toilet bowl was almost yellow, badly lit. Half of astoria is for residence and half is hotel so they make you enter via the back of the hotel, again bad ventilation in the building
