Belmont Hotel Manila garners praise for its strategic location near the airport and accessible amenities, with the rooftop pool and dining options being highlights, although some guests feel the common areas are cramped. The cleanliness and professional staff receive compliments for fostering a welcoming atmosphere, yet opinions on value and room size vary.
While rooms are generally clean and cozy, noise from poor soundproofing can be a concern.

Detailed Reviews
My husband and I stayed at the Belmont as a stop over place between Philippines and Bangkok. It’s perfectly located for the airport, there is a free shuttle but if you miss it a taxi is super cheap only about 150 pesos (£2.30)- concierge sort this for you so just sit back and be looked after!
The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are comfortable and what you need for a short stay. For a long stay I wouldn’t necessarily recommend as the room size/bed size is on the smaller end, the breakfast is a bit random but lots of choice so you’ll find some thing that suits your taste buds (for me the French toast was perfect).
I accidentally left my Ray Ban sunglasses in our room but the hotel safely kept them for the week until I returned on the return flight. Needless to say I did not expect to see them again!
Really enjoyed my short break here.
Didn’t give 5 stars simply based off breakfast, room size and the fact the pool was closed whilst we were here! :) however if you need a quick stop- this is good value for money! :)

During our educational tour way back in February 2019, our whole section spent an overnight stay at Belmont Hotel. One of the things that we are really looking forward in this particular hotel is their pool with a Jacuzzi located at the top floor of their building which has an overlooking view of Metro Manila. We arrive at night so we decided to go for a night swimming which is a very good decision because after a long day of our tour we were able to relax while watching the city lights and the busy streets of Metro Manila. The rooftop was surrounded with plants and lots of lights that give a perfect vibe to chill, they also have a bar located at the rooftop that serves different kind of drinks. We really had a great time swimming and at the same time we feel safe because there are life guard on duty, their pool is only open until 10:00 pm. After swimming we also explore other facilities like steam and sauna room and their fitness center, though we just tour around but didn’t try it like some of our classmates because we we’re already tired from swimming.
Our room was very clean, modern and spacious, it is equipped with 2 beds, a mini-bar, and safety deposit box for your important things.2 Our beds are also comfortable as well as the pillows that helps me a lot to have a goodnight sleep, they also have extra pillow ready in your cabinet if you preferred to use more. We also enjoy watching the television that has a lot of channels to choose to and the bathroom is also functioning well, it’s clean and complete with toiletries like shampoo, soap, shower gel and dental kits, they also provide hair dryer and bathrobe for their guests. Aside from these they also have a strong internet connection and the air-condition in our room is in excellent.
The best thing about the Belmont Hotel is their location. It’s their greatest asset that they are near the NAIA Terminal 3 and accessible through a sky bridge which is very ideal to those who have an early flight in the morning or to people who wants to avoid Manila traffic and like to spend their time to rest more. The Resorts World manila is also a walking distance from the hotel and other establishments that can provide your needs are accessible.
Café Belmont is my top favorite during our stay because of the mouthwatering and delicious food they serve. Their buffet has different varieties of foods from local to international cuisine. I normally eat a lot so I really did give my best to try as many foods as I can; everything in the menu is superb! I didn’t even know how many times I refilled my plate. There one specific dessert that taste heavenly but I forgot what it is called.
Overall I enjoy my stay a lot not only because of the amenities and facilities but also because of the warm staff’s that cater our needs and gave us the best service they can provide. I absolutely recommend the Belmont Hotel.

When we were in the Philippines before this pandemic we stayed at the Belmont two days and two nights before returning home. It must be said that this is a perfect location if you are leavinf from NAIA Terminal 3 because just outside the door of the hotel is the entrance to Runway Manila a skyway offering a pleasant shortcut to the airport. We were given a corner roon overlooking Runway Manila. The hotel is located in Newport City with many attractions, restaurants, a mall, a supermarket and several casinos. The area is safe and pleasant.the hotel is not very fancy but has everything you need for a short stay. The rooms are not large but comfortable.rates are reasonable and very importantly onclude breakfast.it is a buffet breakfast and it is very tasty. Lunch and dinner are reasonably priced. All the staff was very welcoming and helpful but we wanted to give a shout out to the concierge staff of Nikko, Chris and Hebron who provided invaluable assistance with our luggage. In Cafe Belmont Jamari, Michael, Reneena and Julius ensured we had great service every time we ate there.

We stayed at this hotel because we heard the traffic in Manila could be a nightmare, and we didn’t want to miss our flight. It also came at a good price.
Well, we learned — you get what you pay for.
PROS:
— its location is great when it comes to restaurants and shopping in walking distance
— Starbucks and lawsons are directly downstairs
— the hospitality is unbeatable — the best we had during our 10 day stay in the philippines; even better than the two 5 star hotels we stayed at previous to arriving at the Belmont. Whenever we asked for something, we got a knock on our door within minutes. And it didn’t matter who showed up — everyone was so friendly, prompt and efficient, including Joe Tongol who was so kind and professional when we ordered room service.
— the concierge was always very attentive and helpful
CONS:
— we stayed here because we wanted to get to the airport right away before our flight. well, the hotel is only connected to terminal 3. We had to fly out of terminal 1. It was a shock to hear that the hotel shuttle would take an hour to get from the hotel to the airport. So we decided to use a Grab. That in itself took 20 minutes. Unbelievable. We might has well have stayed at a nicer hotel in Makati, because it would’ve taken the same amount of time to get there — but our stay would’ve been more comfortable at a nicer hotel.
— which brings me to the hotel itself — while the outside of the Belmont isn’t bad (security is great and thorough, and the lobby is nice), the hallways leading up to the room are dark and dingy. as soon as we stepped off the elevator there was a weird smell. our room had a strong smell of mold, which you never got used to. it was the smell that made me feel the most uncomfortable — as if the place wasn’t cleaned or taken care of well.
— the room we got was tiny. the blow dryer was oddly placed inside the desk by the window. there was no iron or ironing board, we had to request for one. the bathroom door swung in, and so you were constantly jabbed in the hip with the door handle while using the sink and when you turned on the shower — the entire bathroom floor would get wet.
— we used the gym — and found it contradictory that the smoking room was also on the same floor. so while working out, there was a smell of smoke. how strange for those wanting to keep their cardiovascular system healthy.
— we ordered room service and the food was almost inedible.
— our key swipe stopped working one night, and we went up and down to the front desk at least twice — before they finally figured out they had to change the battery on the door itself...not a big deal except the department in charge of doing so wasn’t immediately available so we had to wait around for someone to finally come to our door.
We paid about $100 USD a night. While the customer service was great, the hotel itself needs a major makeover. We’d probably stay at the Savoy next time, which is just a block or two away — for the same price. My friend said he had no complaints there.

My husband and I decided to stay at the Belmont Hotel in Manila for the final night of our honeymoon in the Philippines before a long flight back to Canada.
Prior to arrival, I emailed the hotel and requested a surprise room setup for my husband. Nica with guest relations was extremely helpful in providing information and making my surprise a reality.
The moment we arrived at the hotel, the exceptional customer service continued. Miguel helped us check in and provided us with all the details for our stay. Although the hotel pool is currently under renovation, the hotel is offering 10% off food and beverages which is a nice incentive.
We ordered room service and our in room dinning server Richlee delivered our food as well as opened our bottle of wine. Again the professional customer service continued.
After our meal, we requested in room massages. We both had very relaxing massages and were very happy.
Overall, we’ve had a great experience and certainly recommend staying at this hotel! 😊😊

We stayed here for one night prior to flying home. The best I can say was it is ok.
The hotel advertises a free shuttle bus. What it doesn’t tell you it is hourly and shared with all other local hotels so takes an hour!! A cab takes 15 minutes. On talking to the concierge it became apparent the international departures terminal is a 5 minute walk!! Why don’t they use that as a USP??
We wanted to eat in the hotel restaurant, the rooftop bar was closed, but no one knew the price of a bottle of wine and they appeared to guess at it. Needless to say we ate elsewhere!!
Our superior room was small but ok for one night.

The staff at Belmont exude the Filipino warmth and hospitality. They are accommodating and responsive to the needs of their guests. I have stayed in hotels in some parts of the world, and I would say, that even though there are still some rooms for improvement, the service is at the top of its class.
PROS: I didn’t choose Belmont for my quarantine upon my arrival in the Philippines. But the moment I stepped into its premises, from the decoration at the reception to the counter who did my check in, I had a feeling that I was at the perfect place. The location was convenient; it was near NAIA terminal 3. The bed was comfortable and clean. The toilet is just the right size minus a bath tub. There’s a TV, a mini fridge, a mini vault. There were 3 pillows on the bed and two extras tucked in one of the ledges in the hanging area. There’s a window, which is a plus. My view was the nearby annex of the hotel, with some plants in between. I was on the 3rd floor, a good unit location for me. The room smelt good.
When I needed supplies, I like that I when I buzzed them for it, they delivered it in less than 30mins. Also, I requested to use my own cutlery so I didn’t have to use the plastic ones that came with the meal. They made sure that no plastic cutlery was delivered with my food. I asked for some dishwashing liquid which they happily gave me.
CONS: There were two chairs in the room. I used towels on the chair so I could sit on them because they made me itch. Once they missed leaving my dinner outside the room. I called the cafe to follow it up. They did give it to me immediately which was good, but I don’t recall the person on the other line apologizing for it. Also, I asked for some plastics bags for the trash. But they never came. Nevertheless, it turned out to be good for me, because I was able to utilize the paper bags that were used to put the meals in.
Overall, I’ll give Belmont 4 out of 5 stars. The warmth and the friendliness of the staff in general is a big plus for me. They acknowledge their guests and treat them with respect. These are the most basic values in the customer service line, but sadly ones that are not easy to come by. I’m glad to have experienced this with Belmont.
I will definitely suggest this hotel, and I might stay in it again for leisure. :)

My wife and I were flying into Manila, from Bangkok, on our way to the islands of Palawan, and wanted a hotel that was near the airport for an overnight stay. Our travel agent had recommended the Belmont and it turned out to be ideal for our needs.
The Belmont is close to Terminal 3 and we were able to use the Hotel shuttle bus to get from the airport to the hotel. For our flight out the following morning, which was from Terminal 4, we booked a sedan car through the hotel at the price was very good, as the shuttle bus does not run to that Terminal.
The entire hotel was very nice and our room was great. The room was air-conditioned, with a room safe fixed to the wall, and had a small mini bar. The bed was large and comfortable. At breakfast, there was a large selection of food on offer, though I would describe the quality of the food as “okay”. There is a large mall nearby, which is handy for shopping for any essentials and also for the food court. In addition, there is a nice rooftop pool and bar, which we used in the evening for a few drinks.
All-in-all, a very good choice of hotel for airport stays.

This hotel is very conveniently located only a few minutes walk from Terminal 3 via the Skybridge. Our room was very pleasant and adequate, of a reasonable size and very clean and well equipped. The included breakfast offered only a very modest choice and the dining room was small and crowded. Staff were universally friendly and the hotel provides good value for money.

+1
First of all, we were greeted by the security, very friendly security! Very unusual but surprisingly new to me. Lobby/front desk area looked great and clean. Front desk agent who checked us in was very friendly and knowledgeable, also patient to all of my questions.
They have few elevators in this hotel which is great. Our rooms 5011 & 5014 close to each other. 1st room. 5014 had a blood stain on one of the beds, my sister and I both working in Housekeeping department at Westin & Hilton, so we cannot help to inspect our rooms when we travel. I reported it immediately to guest services and they sent a housekeeper right away. This young gentleman, very pleasant and apologized, changed the beddings so quickly left with a smile. I was so bad, forgot to ask his name. (Night of 2/14). Then ky sister requested a flat iron, a diffrent housekeeper also a young gentleman, brought the iron..... with an ironing board!~ This is great service! Please comment this staff(sorry forgot to get his name as well).
Our room looked clean but will need a thorough inspection.
We attended Rachelle Ann Go's homecoming concert at Mariott Grand Ballroom and this location was on the spot!~ just right across the street! Loved it!
Next morning, we attended the breakfast, it was a buffet and I've never seen breakfast buffet station that was so good!!! I will be back just for your breakfast servings!
Overall I loved the hotel, amenities & especially the staff. They are for sure trained very well with service and customer service!
