We stayed here for 3 nights whilst we shopped around Manila. It was good to go and have a shower, clean room and tv in a decent room after full days of shopping. Hotel restaurant food doesn’t say much tough!
Stone house hotel is quite close to the airport so tell the taxi driver that you know it is close (less than 15mins). They will try to charge you super high fare. White taxi was about 1000PHP and would not give us better price. We queued after a very long queue for yellow (metered taxi) and when approached by non-airport taxi driver we tried to bargain for a better price. We found another 2 people in the queue who were willing to share the fare with us (not to same hotel) so we paid 250PHP for 2 people. The other two paid another 250PHP. So driver got 500PHP but we paid half the price. It could be cheaper but that’s the price we got after lot of bargaining.
Stone house hotel is close to a bargain shopping mall. Just go out and turn left, then left again on main road. You will find a McDonalds few meters up, next to it there is a stairs to cross the bridge to the shopping mall/train station. This is more like Chinese / cheap stuff items There are also some fast food chains, didn’t find anything healthy around here. Here you will also find a stop to MRT (Train / railway) which is cheap for getting around. The stop here, next to the hotel, is called LRT1 / Edsa.
There are a lot of Jeepneys next to McDonalds. Ask drivers for directions on which Jeepney to catch for your own needs. For some destinations you have to cross the road but always ask around. Most helpful are the drivers or helpers around the Jeepney terminals.
Get the train to Ayala stop if you want to go shopping to Landmark and Greenbelt shopping malls. Here you will find good quality items shopping mall and some famous brands. I personally liked these malls.
To go to Mall of Asia, get a jeepney and forget the taxi. You will not pay more than 7 pesos for jeepney to MOA. This shopping mall has branded shops. I liked the shop KULTURA which is full of local Filipino souvenirs / food / crafts / tshirts and more.
We also managed to go do Divisoria though 3 Jeepneys (7PHP each), Divisoria contains shopping malls and street stalls with really cheap prices (against some bargaining). Divisoria is like a China town, very busy and lots of stalls. Some tourists feel threatened here but we didn’t. Just don’t take any valuables with you and keep money on the front or in deep pockets and you will be fine 
In the evening you can check out City of Dreams Casino which is an interesting outing. We took hotel taxi for this one as we felt lazy, but you could take the Jeepney to MOA.
Also I suggest you eat at the shopping malls which contain good restaurants. There aren’t any good restaurants around Stone house, none that I know of.

Stayed in this hotel for a night before a connection flight. The room was tiney. The AC loud as hell. The room had a funny smell and the water in the shower didn't go away. We also received dirty towels when we checked in.
Disillusioned about the hotel we still got disappointed when we received the breakfast. It looked and tasted like something I wouldn't give to my dog.
The reason I give them a 2 rating is because the staff was friendly and because it's located close enough to the airport.
If you don't have to, avoid it.

Thanks for the feedback it is unfortunate that you had a bad experience . I don't know if your rating was fair enough to say that our food was awful when we offer this food to all our guest. Since you are in our country please do take note that what we offer is our typical filipino food. As for the aircon i find it weird that we just recently opened just a few months ago and we are being criticise for bad aircon. All our aircon if brand new. As for the price you may search other hotels and we are the cheapest among our area.

Flying in to Manila 9 pm and out again at 5 am, rather than use a seat at the airport we opt. to got a hotel room!!
Road works are all around the airport and the Taxi drivers take delight in going the long way!! 400p to hotel.
Staff helpful, rooms tiny, no where to put your luggage , very noisy with young female voices giggling all night . No windows!!
Good price better than an airport chair, own bathroom, clean room.
Return taxi 150p

It doesn’t even deserve a single star but cannot proceed with the review without it.
The room I was assigned was the stuff of nightmare !!
No less than the size of a prison cell, no window and very poor WiFi connection and I’m paying for the privilege.

If a fire break out at my front door then I’ll have no way of getting out - no table provided that I was forced to eat on my bed, nowhere to hang any clothes whatsoever either.

Cleanliness? I will post a photo of my only view which is the ceiling fan covered with so many years of dirt and dust.
The sliding door keeps getting stuck and so difficult to use that my fingers are now bruised as it keeps getting pinched between the door and the frame.

Quarantine prohibits us from buying food outside and yet almost always they hardly stock up or ran out of most drinks or food.
The only redeeming value are the wonderful staffs that try their best but wonderful will never equate to a decent basic stay commensurate to what they charged me.

My room was part of a lobby on each floor sequestered and turned into a room by the greedy Filipino hotel operator that undermines health and safety of their clients.

I booked this room through Agoda who should also be responsible in checking if the hotel passed the basic standard of health and safety as well as cleanliness.

So if you value your health then look somewhere else.

If you're looking for a great stay which is near at the airport as well as near to different malls, check this out. Clean Rooms, great staff, 24hr room service. Very accessible to Mall of Asia either through a taxi cab or via public jeepneys. The road outside the hotel may be very busy and crowded so you better be attentive to your belongings.

The hotel is located across the street from a large bus stop called 5 Star. An elevated roadway runs between them. At the entrance to the hotel is a large tricycle parking/turn area. Needless to say transportation is very close but so is the 24 hr road noise.

The amenities are few. I had no towels when I arrived. I asked the service for one as I when out to eat; came back after three hours, no towel. Called the front desk and they said sure, one is coming. 30 Minutes later no towel so I went to the front desk, I was told towels are not normally given for rooms. I paid 1,200 pesos for the room so I asked to speak to a manager, he begrudgingly told the house boy to get me a towel.

Room was small, maybe 6 feet square. Wall to wall with a full bed. Bed was two small beds put together, 20 inches X 65 inches. As soon as I laid on the bed the two small beds pushed apart and I almost hit the floor. Luckily the room is so mall the beds hit the walls and broke my complete fall.

A small closet is included but it's so small the two hangars in it can not be used. A 20 inch flat screen TV is in a locked steel box on the wall; however all they have for service is a small antenna on the roof. Two very snowy channels that can not be heard are all you get. The A/C is in a wall slot, SM Mall shopping bags were shoved in the gaps around it.

The bathroom is small but the lighting is good. The sink only had cold water, but the shower had an on demand heater. This is a very small water unit that barely sprays much water. The drain was plugged and standing water filled the bathroom my entire stay.

WIFI Was advertised as available in the lobby. If you are driving this hotel does not offer parking.

Checking out was a bit hectic. They take a 500 peso deposit and refused to give it back. They said my room should have had two towels. After a call to someone (I guess night shift) they refunded my money, with a smile!

Thanks for the feed back we have already fixed all your concerns about the towels. It is just unfortunate that we actually ran our of towel when you arrive which is our mistake. We have already bought extra towel just not to ran out.

We arrived from a 3:00am flight from Cambodia to the hotel. We had emailed them letting them know months in advance that we would be on a very late flight and expected time to be 3:00am. We arrived half an hour later than expected as our flight was slightly delayed and the lady at the front desk informed us that they had no room for us. We asked why our room was not available when she had our booking sheet in her hand. She responded with "we thought you would be here at 2:30 not 3:30 so your room is now not available." I am extremely disappointed with the customer service and lack of professionalism on the hotels behalf. They are an airport hotel you would expect them to understand that people arrive late from flights and to be turned away at 3:30am in the morning is extremely wrong. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. They turned us away and told us to go to another hotel down the road where she said they were expecting us and it was the same price 1100php but upon arrival the girls at the desk seemed puzzled and stated they only had one room available which was 2500php. It was a horrible experience.

booked this hotel for me and my mum with different dates. My mother arrived first in phils and stayed, all were settled, despite of the room was real small. When its my date to arrived phils i have problem with my airline and my flight was cancelled. I directly called Stone House that my flight was cancelled and re-book the hotel the other day. I called Ms Rich-Ann and Ms Grace and they said all were ok. When i reached manila, was travelling by business class so i went out the plane first, but the driver was not there.. We called the Hotel informing them that i already arrived and waiting for my airport pick-up, but staff said they are not been informed. what a heck!! i called and informed that my flight was cancelled!!! so then they said to wait and they will send us the diver soon.. me and my frnds waiting for nothing,, we called again the hotel lots of times that we were waiting, they said driver already texted us his detais of his car and ready to pick us, but no tx or call we received from the driver, again we called hotel and asked the number of the driver,,, when we called the driver he is not answering our calls, so we decided to call him in my Qatar number and then he answered,, whats the heck is wrong with these people??!!!do they need to answer us using phone outside pinas???!!! we still calm and already very tired till we talked to the driver he said he dont have a load thats why he cant call us or tx,,, whats wrong stone house? is this the way you deal you customer?,, till the driver demand us to go in parking lot blah blah but we refused to for we didnt know the parking lot he is talking about. Imagine i travelled for 10hrs, i landed 10pm but till 1am no one pick us in the airport.in the end no driver pick us in the airport,,,, I will never booked to this hotel again, i better chose expensive hotel rather than letting me wait in the airport for nothing.

Greetings! First of all we appreciate your interest in booking with us again and for the feedback you gave. Please give us this opportunity to explain our side with regard to the situation: 1) You mentioned that your mom was booked and settled with us? If so, why did she not arrange directly with the front desk for a pick-up and informing us of your cancelled flight? 2) As for your first booking you never showed up and did not even bother to cancel with booking.com or with us which cost our loss of earnings. 3) The next day you made another booking with us and scheduled a pick-up and thus was properly arranged. 4) The driver and yourself were in constant contact with one another. The driver mentioned that you told him that your flight was cancelled. So he had to come back. Second, you told him your bags were not yet ready. Third time, he had no other recourse and tried calling you because all cabs are not allowed to loiter for so long and had to park, but you were not answering the calls and he decided to park per instruction of the security. 5) We believe that there was a miscommunication between you and the driver and this is beyond the control of Stonehouse staff and management.

This hotel is close to the airport, is clean and the staff are helpful. I stayed in the female dorm and the beds were extremely narrow. I'm quite small so found it just about manageable but not great. Staff kept coming in to "check" you were still in there at 7am...not great. And the free lobby wifi they advertise isn't great

The rooms are really small and also the beds. In booking it says that there is a wifi but when we came they said that they don't have. The staff is not so nice. I had a flight on 5am and they told me that I don't need to order a taxi before because they have a driver, but the driver wasn't there in the morning..
Too expensive for no reason.
