Right by the airport. 15min to terminal 1. Breakfast has a very good selection, but the food was never hot, even when it first comes out. The staff at the front desk is very good and anticipate your needs and comply with requests. Traffic noise from my room was kinda bad but not intolerable.
After 26 hours of flying, (Dayton-Atlanta-Seoul-Manila) I couldn’t have asked for a better experience in Manila. Despite being a dual purpose (regular stay / quarantine) hotel, I was very happy to crawl into the extremely comfortable bed and pass out in anticipation of my domestic flight the following morning. Breakfast was very good. Heads up - Traditional Filipino style. As a smoker, I was very relieved to have the onsite casino serve as a smoking area. The staff was extremely nice and very helpful. Also be aware that if you arrive late, food options are not available from the on-site kitchen. Get the Grab app for food deliveries. Def will stay there again.
Third time this year to stay here. Reasonable stay for the location and convenience. However lack of attention to detail. Noisy rooms everytime. First time I advised staff about the music. They said it was the nightclub. The staff said they cannot do anything about the noise from th nightclub inside the building. It would seem to me that there is a rather obvious disconnect between the needs of the tenants of the building. Suffice to say this was not a pleasant sleep. Second visit I experienced noise from a window that wouldn't close. Engineering were called to repair. Engineering came and said there was no problem. Window still didn't close. By this time it was midnight. I had to give up and accept a noisy room.
Hands down ranked #1 for worst hotel travel experience in 2022! As an IHG Diamond Member, I cannot recommend this "hotel" at all. It was absolutely horrible. The check-in queue was about 30 people strong. No priority until I just walked up front and couldn't wait any longer. My room faced a 10-lane road and the airport next door, it was VERY noisy! Couldn't get any rest. Windows do not provide sufficient insulation. There is NO working INTERNET connection - it is extremely slow and none of my 3 devices could connect, I spent 30 minutes, even had a room change. I ended up walking to the Hilton Hotel next door to finish my work in the Hilton Lobby at 11pm at night. Why is this??? Not acceptable at all, no excuses. You can work around the rest but without internet, it is meaningless. The breakfast was ok, however food quality is inferior. The shower head pressure is not strong enough. Nothing too much to ask, just get the basics right. Internet, sleep, water pressure, breakfast. This hotel cannot provide any of these. After another bad experience here following a bad experience at the Holiday Inn in Makati last month, I am done with IHG Hotels in the Philippines and will give my business to other hotels in town. IHG need to get their act together in Manila.…
Not a bad hotel for travelers ok a lay over waiting for your next flight. Close to the airport and very close to a mall where you could pass the time. Close to a casino too if that’s your choice of entertainment. Basic amenities but modern and clean rooms. Breakfast is ok, a few good choices. Better than other Holiday Express hotel that I have stayed in. Value for money is great. Not bad and will be a first choice for quick layovers around the airport.
I arrived late night thinking I will get a good night's sleep, however, I was denied a room with a reason that they "overbooked" that night. I had already pre booked and paid for the room. A couple I met in the lobby was in the same situation. NO SOLUTION WAS OFFERED!
My family stayed in 2 rooms (connecting) for a weekend. Service was very professional. We love the beds, the duvet and pillows. Needless to say, we slept very well. Our requests were attended to immediately, everyone we encountered were very helpful and accommodating. Thank you very much esp to GM Boy Beloso!
To be honest, I was kinda nervous booking the Holiday Inn after my experience in George Washington a couple of years back but my worries were put to bed upon arrival. The premises was clean, airy and welcoming. The staff from reception to the accommodation were friendly and very helpful. Mica in particular deserves special recognition as he went above and beyond to find us a room with a view and our travel colleagues a room on the same floor as us. The food was properly portioned and well presented. In short, I couldn't find any fault with my experience and has put my faith back into the Holiday Inn brand and will happily stay here again in the future
Check-in took 30 minutes. Reception is crowded. Avoid staying at this hotel if you're a light sleeper, the noise from House Manila club downstairs will keep you up til 5 a.m., except Sunday night/Monday morning when it is closed. Room in 3rd Floor. Breakfast is simple, but filling.
Are you kidding me with this bs? It took 2 full hours just to check in. They start by handing you a ticket. I was 150 and they were literally at 49! I thought this was a one off so we decided to leave some luggage behind and go to Palawan and come back since we just need it for a connecting flight. Well we’re back and it’s another 2 hr long check in. I don’t know if this is a third world country but wth it’s 2022 and it’s an American company! They should of at least had a digital check in option… nope! To top that off they put us on the 2nd floor. That by itself isn’t bad but they didn’t tell us the hotel has a club that goes on till 5am! Save your money and stay anywhere but here.
