Below are my pros and cons for Hotel Ava:

Pros:
1) Good location. near public transportation (bus station, gil puyat lrt station, jeepneys, etc.). Also near MOA. 1 tricycle or jeep away.
2) Overall clean room including the bathroom. Lots of lights and mirrors because it's a motel. Has study table
3) aircon is good (window air conditioner type). Room is cold.
4) TV has cable so you could watch some movies.
5) They have toiletries (toothpaste, toothbrush), paper cup for hot/cold water, soap, shampoo, towel, two sets of slippers, shower heater, two bottled water
6) This is a motel so you can check-in anytime and they informed me that checkout is 24 hours.
7) lots of restaurants nearby so it's cheaper to eat.
8)Multiple electric outlets. There's a one universal so it's a plus.

Cons:
1) has safety deposit box but not working.
2) Since this is a motel, everytime you go out, the front desk will ask you if you are a guest or not. So you always need to say that you have a room. It's like asking your parent's/guardian's permission to go out.
3) Only 1 keycard
4) Thin bedsheet. The mattress and blanket is average. Not good. Not that bad.
5) Bathroom is seriously slippery. You need to be extra careful because this part of the room seems to be accident prone. I only stayed for a night but I slipped like 6 times in the bathroom door if I'm not mistaken. By the way, I was using their slippers.
6) No water refilling station.

We have a nice and convenient stay here. An overnight stay only. If you are planning a short stay in Manila, then this is one of my choice. The room has a little window and a not so big room especially the standard room but for us it fits the budget so what can you expect...
The service is okay and they greet you always especially when entering their premises.
The food is also good and price is moderate. Their amenities like Cable TV, Aircon, fridge, hot and cold shower are deserving and they have fast Wifi in room.
They don't accept reservations.

Victoria court is a good place for lovers, especially for a short period of time, they have different room classification and the price varies each classification. when checking in advise the bell boy for an ordinary room if your purpose is just to stay for few hours.

I can say the room is very clean, toiletries is very impressive very hotel standard, in the bathroom there is a big jacuzzi where you can relax.

the bed is very comfortable, overall it was good.

To make a long story short, front desk personnel made me pay an extra P1000.00 to upgarde from my reserved and fully paid standard room to a room that has a garage if i wanted to park my car at their premises.

The booking clearly states that parking is provided frèe of charge..But I guess being a "love hotel" they'll prioritze other guests who pay less for short time so they can give the room to more clients within the day..Arguing and asking to speak to the manager was useless, these people dont care. They say its the third party booking site's fault (Trip.com).So being with a companion and put on the spot I had no choice but to upgrdae..

Word of caution if you're gonna.book thru a third party site. and your bringing a car unless its a 4-5 star.parking might be an issue..

Never again with Victoria Court.

We were left with no choice but to check in since there are no more public transport we can avail going back to the province on a Thursday midnight. Here is my experience:
We were expecting there is a room available since we were asked to pay upfront immediately, but we spent half an hour at the waiting area with no word on when our room will be available. (We're so sleepy already)
After we were finally in our room and preparing to sleep already, we received a call from the front desk, asking us to pay a 100 peso on top of our initial payment for the so called 'weekend rate' that they said they missed to collect, although it is just Friday morning 12:++ am. I asked if we could just pay it when we check out in the morning, but they did not agree, saying they will send a room boy to collect the additional fee. We waited but the room boy did not arrive, so I went to the front desk to pay it, so we can go to our much needed sleep.

The room is proper aside from the few small cockroaches from the sink, which we can live with; but the service could be a lot better if the staff would be more considerate.

Rented a "suite".
When we arrived the suite was actually very small, no light, furniture very old, not very clean.
We ask to change room and visit the other "suite" and they are all so small.
Obviously a good rehabilitation would be needed...
The same suite, much bigger, cheaper and cleaner are available in the Victoria Court in Cuneta.
So don't believe the picture you see on the web site, they are probably dating when every thing was new and taken in such angle that it looks much bigger than reality...
Anyway don't consider that place for an overnight, this is a motel where couple come and rent rooms for few hours only...

So I looked for a cheaper hotel for a few nights and came across this. The room was ok. It was fairily clean. The bathroom was quite aweful. The shower got water all over the floor of the bathroom and there was no bathmat. I asked for a bathmat and they told me it would be an additional charge of 10 pesos a day. While not a lot of money, the principle of it was lame. The bed was a thin foam mattress of about 4-5 inches with a rubber cover and a sheet. I didn't breath at all. So I'd wake up just covered in sweat. Also, I didn't realize it at the time I booked the hotel, but it's only meant to be a place lovers come to do thier business. At most a one nights stay, and much shorter if sex is the only task at hand.

Victoria Court is actually a short time hotel similar to Sogo Hotel. SO they do offer short time stay like 3 hours as such.

It is strange that they do not provide the guest with the keys. Instead they will open the door for you if you need to access your room.

The room is decent. It has a musky smell. Bed is comfortable though later I found that it is actually a PVC bed. There isn’t any blanket available. Cable selection is good and water pressure is fine. There is also free Wi-Fi in the room which you will need to get the password from the reception.

The service provided by the staff is great. There is room service available and they will call a taxi for you if you need one.

So if you just need a short sleep, this hotel can be considered.

Very relaxing and romantic! I would always love the thematic room as they are so sexy and beautiful. I would always hangout here with any of my old boy after my long hour of duties from the hospital. It is really a treat for me!

Me and my fiance went there for the first time. We checked in at 10:30am I guess.. We're so happy that the process is fast. When we arrived by taxi, the receptionist asked what kind of room and how many hours. That's it! He immediately lead us to the room and it's so nice, cool and clean! It felt like it is our honeymoon! Lol. We loved the ambiance... But the aircon is too cold! But that's a good thing tho... Especially to those who want a cold room.. We enjoyed the place and also the food. The food is delicious but too pricey tho... I think one stick of pork barbeque is too expensive for 195 pesos. Also, since our room is at the ground floor, we heard noises from the room upstairs (I think bella and edward checked in) so we couldn't sleep well that time.. But overall, we loved the place. Lastly, the staff were nice and I think they're a bit shy but still polite. We'll surely come again!
