This is my first time at Sogo Hotel as I arrived late from a flight and just looking for a room to stay for a night which is near to the airport. I chose the deluxe room but to my surprise the room is still small. The bedsheet is untidy, the toilet bowl is dirty I don't have the nerve to take photos I just asked my sister to flush it as I'm so exhausted. I wasn't be able to sleep because I'm not comfortable. Wifi is very poor. The blinking lights coming from the heat/smoke detector is so annoying. When we go out to buy something I was shocked when the reception asked to deposit the room key. I don't know that small hotels have this kind of policy but this is inappropriate.

Sogo typically reliable with a busy flow of clientele. The room is small but normal, mine had clean sheets and cr but broken glass was only partially cleaned from the floor. I told the guy downstairs at the counter and before I got back up someone was cleaning it properly.

The room I stayed in was clean and had enough amounts of amenities for a 2 night stay. The service I received was so good, I didn't think that it was that quick to get a room. Concerning the fact that people go there just to have sex is true, but so are other hotels. Its unavoidable and even the high end hotels get them. I got a discount because I had flight tickets, so that was a good thing for me. I asked directions to the security guard and I was saved a lot of time because he knew the area very well. WiFi is fast enough, showers are working, the bed is soft but expect a thin blanket so better pack on your own if you want and near commercial areas. I just wish they can clean the rooms even without the guest, I prefer it that way. Overall, since I tried it once, I will go back again.

Hotel is so busy anyway you will understand why. Its located on most crowded area of manila. Well we stay just for 1 nigth since we have our fligth to zamboanga early in the morning. We came from vacation in tagaytay so we decided to stay here. Also one good thing is. It's near baclaran you can shop for things on really good deals. You must try the batchoy eatery on the side of hotel. Its good. The specialty of iloilo "Lapaz Batchoy" . Well about the hotel when we arrived there no room available. Too many people are also waiting. We waited for 2hours yo get our room. Well room is clean dont expect too much we get it for 1400php 24hours. But i suggest try to book on agoda there offer good deals you can get the room for 1200php thats good savings. Only thing i hate is there no connection. Wifi is not working what would you expect. But even your own data plan wont work either that the bad thing here. Also air condition is so noisy. But rest are fine you have slippers, towels, shampoo, soap, toothbrush and toothpaste given but dont expect much better bring your own. Well just for a nigth its worth the stay.
