Convenient location, adequately trained but robotic staff, elevator shared with utility, one room keycard only, average nothing great buffet breakfast, lumpy bed mattress, shower water splashes outside enclosure, spotty intermittent wifi signal. Overall, it's tolerable.

We enjoyed our stay at Microtel very much and wish it was more than just one night. The room was big and clean, the dining was so good and location is the best- plus all the staff are very friendly. We met Paolo Blanco who was so friendly and helpful and made our stay much nicer. We will stay at Microtel again and recommend it to family and friends.

The rooms are really outdated and old . Bathrooms not up to standard at all. I moved out the same day I checked in as I would not sleep there. Had to change hotel. Maybe should be rated as 1 or 2 star. But was more expensive then a nice hotel I moved into.

I last stayed at this hotel in October of 2011 and rated it 5-star and "Excellent in every way". This time I give it 4 stars as there were a few disappointments. I was unable to connect to the complimentary Wifi. I was told that this was a known issue with Apple phones and tablets and the problem was under investigation. However, during the four days I was there it was not resolved, so it appears that it's not receiving urgent attention. Surprisingly, I was able to connect on the rooftop pool deck and in the lobby and restaurant, so how can that be explained if it was an Apple issue? It appears that the TV in the room is a smart TV as there is a second remote that has buttons for Netflix, Amazon Prime, and other streaming services. If you press them, you get an error message:…

We stayed for 2 nights. Very disappointing! Wifi doesn’t work the whole time until we checked out! Cable was in and out. I don’t recommend the Breakfast Buffett. A waste of money. Food was terrible. The window AC was licking from the top of the ceiling. Never going to stay in this Hotel. I paid over $100.00 a night. I don’t recommend this Microtel MOA

The rooms are outdated and the room has a funny smell. The bathroom goods are rough, so consider buying a towel nearby if you’re a foreigner. There’s construction across the river/bay so you hear that early morning. The walls are thing so you can hear everything next door as well as the hallway. The restaurant downstairs charges $10 per person for only having fried rice, eggs and one protein (ham). The food quality is not good and they didn’t serve us coffee, we had to keep asking for it. They also require a dress code for breakfast, so if you’re dressed up as a foreign tourist to a warm weather destination like Philippines; you have to dress up to eat at their cheap breakfast lobby. Highly recommended. From start to finish, the hotel exceeded our expectations. Highly efficient check-in and everything works! It has a superb location, within walking distance of great eating and shopping opportunities, as well as being right on Manila Bay. Rooms are of good size for the price, cosy and with a nice seating ledge to look out from. There’s also a working fridge, and good selection of TV channels. Internet speeds are a little patchy, but at these prices who cares? Nice pool, a little bar and pleasant staff all hit the spot for a hassle-free stay. Well done and thank you.
