Hotel Sogo sucks, well at least the one in Pasay, at the corner of EDSA and Harrison, 'cause it's the first Sogo that I've been into. I paid like around 1,300 for the room just for 12 hours, and it's quite small. Also, the bath towels that they've provided looked like they've already been used by 50 people. Yeah, I know, they maybe clean and newly washed but still, it doesn't look so good. And the worst thing is the air conditioner. It has this noisy whirring and cracking sound that made it hard for us to get some sleep. It sounded like it's gonna explode any moment. The next day we stayed at Victoria Court Cuneta which is just a five-minute walk away from Sogo and 12 hours there just cost 1000 pesos and I tell you, the room is like a thousand times better! It has more space, and cleaner. the bed is bigger, the ambiance is way more romantic and there's even a fridge with a lot of beverages (that of course you have to pay extra if you want to avail). Also, the room has a flat screen TV comapared to the tiny box TV in Sogo. Though VC is not as accessible as Sogo, it's still worth it.

This hotel is close to the airport and handy for a place to stay between flights. It is around P130 for a taxi to the airport. This is a short time hotel, but you can stay overnight. Sogo is a chain in the Philippines. No need to make reservations. Staff is busy but good and most are helpful. Room is basic with AC, hot water, cable and WiFi and it is clean with a price of P1200. Food is available. The Mall of Asia is about a 20-30 minute walk straight down the street, if you want to stretch your legs after a cramp flight or easy to get pubic transportation. Since this is mainly a short-time hotel, you might want to be aware that there are a couple of porn channels on the TV which might offend some.

Hotel Sogo has the logo....So clean, So good. Mmmmm, yes for Manila I suppose it is clean bed sheet wise. Don't get me wrong, it is not filthy (except the floor), just not really clean, hairs, dirty table tops etc. it has a great setup . You don't book you just turn up and pay for a few hours, 6 hours or 12 hours or by the day rate(24 hours). You pay up front. Room service boasts 10 minutes or it's free and they are quick. The staff are efficient, polite and well trained. Not somewhere you'd take the kids. Basically it is an adult hotel and caters for such. The rooms have no windows but lots of mirrors and red lights. Hot water is a hit or miss affair. Comfort kits are supplied (soap, shampoo, toothbrushes, comb) Towels are clean and the room rates very reasonable. It has always been busy when I have stayed there. ( you may have to wait a bit at peak times) the longest I have waited would be 2 hours. Perfect for a short stay in Manila. Very close to the Mall of Asia.....which is great....very big, with a fun park and ice rink. Food is average, 7/11 has better.

Room Tip: They push the executive rooms, that's adequate for most of us.

Terrible!!! Stayed with the family last Feb 1st week condom was found inside of the trash bin. Means they did not clean it and just replace the bed covers and pillow.

2nd stay was yesterday 05 March. With the Fam again hoping its cleaned. But still human fluid with hair was found in the blanket!
I cant imagine that simple cleaning they did nothing. Very untidy! See attached photos..

Me and my friend tranferred to stay in Sogo Hotel in Edsa Harrison Pasay from Copacobana Apartment Hotel coz i was intrigue by their slogan that quotes "So Clean So Good" and it js a lot cheaper, for a 24 hrs of stay we only paid Php1,400. So i thought at first it was really clean, but then when we actually stayed there, i just found out how dirty the room was coz' there are strands of hair everywhere including the CR, i really really hate it, it looks like they just have to change the beddings or the towel for the next guest without sweeping or vacuuming the whole room especially the carpeted rooms. The most disgustingly part was i couldnt eat inside the room because i can imagine how disgusting it is, what we did is that, we went out for the whole day and just return to the hotel when we feel very sleepy so that we can really sleep without thinking of the filthy linens they have or the beddings and the towels that looks like it was not being laundry for several years. I dont want to stay there anymore even for 1 hour!
TO ALL SOGO PERSONNEL OR EMPLOYEE:
PLS. ALWAYS USE VACUUM CLEANER OR AT LEAST SWEEP THE FLOOR SO THAT THERE ARE NO STRANDS OF HAIR THAT THE NEXT GUEST COULD SEE EVERYWHERE.

This place is a MOTEL not hotel so beware!
I was only staying for a night and was trying to save money but I totally got what I paid for! Terrible room, filthy washroom and crowdy area!
I could’ve gotten a better room near the airport instead of paying taxi to get to this motel! Will never go back!
PS: Avoid ordering their food, You’re welcome!

I left my newly bought starbucks tumbler when we checked out of the hotel. The next day, we reported about the lost tumbler. They said they will just text us about the update. It took me many phone calls before they texted us about the update. My tumbler couldn't be found anymore. I hate this hotel. I will NEVER RETURN HERE!
