Another staycation spent today. Got the chance to book in one of the prestigious hotels in the Philippines but if Im gonna compare it to its peers, well, gotta BIG DISAPPOINTMENT! Our morning was welcomed with a VERY POOR DINING SYSTEM for our breakfast. Really the WORST I experienced. The long line of guests for the breakfast is the same scenerio we experienced in 2017, meaning……NO CHANGE! NO IMPROVEMENT! I really observed how the dining staff deal with the situation and I pity them because they were the one to face all the complaints. It is good that a certain Ruth is apologetic for the inconvenience being experienced by the guest. Noteworthy also is the initiative of Mgr. June Salvador in helping his staff serve and dish out. Worth mentioning also is the attentiveness of Nino. It was such a DISMAY to have this kind of experience from such a hotel of that CLASS. It is really hard for ne to give them a failing score so I decided to call the concierge for assistance without expecting that the feeling of DISAPPOINTMENT would only worsen because of the UNWELCOMING service from a certain Arnold? sounds like. I thought I would be leaving this hotel full of DISAPPOINTMENTS AND DISGUSTING EXPERIENCES but so thankful that all these NEGATIVITIES were replaced with BIG APPRECIATION because of the COMMENDABLE SERVICE rendered by MS. THEA of the Front Desk. Her exemplary actions are really emulating. She is really an ASSET of the Hotel! It was because of her that I changed my mind and heart of changing my rating from 2. to 3! GREAT SERVICE MS THEA! THANK YOU!

From the executive lounge to the pool club to the suite rooms, this resort is 5 stars. My wife and I couldn’t be more pleased with our stay and will be recommending to our hospitality group. The staff from Christine on was welcoming and there for us from the minute we arrived to helping us with room service, getting taxis, and planning our daily activities. This is as good Marriott as I have ever stayed in.

Upon entering the hotel my family and I were warmly greeted by the staff and our bags were taken to our room. Our room was clean, orderly and had all of the essentials one may need, such as water, coffee and even fresh mangos! The care taker of our room, MJ Laxamana truly went above and beyond to take care of my family's every need. She was attentive, affable and very precise in her service. It was clear that she was a true professional and genuinely cared about me and my family. The hotel is attached to the Resorts World Manila mall, making it convenient to move back and fourth between the two. The hotel included a wonderful gym, steam room, sauna, and pool. Overall the experience was fantastic and nothing short of excellent.

Thank you for a good stay. They made us feel safe and ensured restful quarters after a long day. Appreciate the effort and care of the cleaning staff esp jean agpasa (with supervisor at that time joy). The check in/out was smooth. Appreciate very much the attentiveness of the staff...and it was evidently consistent - any day anywhere :) Apprecuate as well their efforts towards caring for the environment - small steps make an impact :) Tips: Book the west wing if you wish a more silent stay - it has its own front desk, lobby, entrance, pick up area - so you can handle everything there, not needing to go to the main lobby/bldg The Still Bar is a good area for conversation ATM is on site Having a walkway to the mall is a plus A lot of stores/coffee shops/snack areas in and around the area A church is nearby Ask help from the front desk anytime - even with local taxi Efficient staff They have ramps for wheelchairs

The Marriott in Manila has some of the best staff that I have encountered in all my travels. From the management to the housekeeping. Melvyn, the resident manager, is very professional and always took time to greet, e-mail and welcome us. Christine Torio, the supervisor of the Executive Lounge, went out of her way and beyond her job duties to assist us. Also Ely, the server provided us with excellent service. MJ Laxamana, done an excellent job keeping our room clean and was always respectful of our privacy. All of the staff are professional and friendly. I highly recommend The Manila Marriott. Amazing service, we feel very well looked after. I’m vegan (fairly difficult in the Philippines) and the chef made sure to cater to my exact food requests and made me really delicious food - I’m so happy. Special thank you to Chef Richard and Ely!

Had a great stay here. Enjoyed the large and luxurious room that I was offered. Breakfast was great but the service wasn’t really a top notch. So many workers but couldn’t refill my coffee and juice. I wish they train their staff at breakfast better.

This is our 2nd trip and stay here at the Marriott Manila and this time we stayed for almost a month. Everyone outdid themselves in making us feel like royalty especially the staff at the 2nd floor Executive lounge. We were welcomed by the charming and beautiful smiles of Ara, Marynelly and Christine. Ashley was very accommodating in showing me the computer room. Both chefs Richard and Alejandro went out of their way to prepare Filipino daing and Bulalo. Eli was extremely gracious in always preparing our morning coffee and sweet mangoes for dessert. Marynelli was a delight all the time smiling and making sure the confernce room was ready for our meetings.I cannot name everybody but the whole staff was magnanimous and super hospitable. I would especially mention our Room Attendant MJ of the 9th floor who always kept our room clean and made sure that we don't run out of tissues, toilet paper and soaps. Thank you again Marriott Manila! You will always be no. 1 in our hearts!!!!!
