Finally going back home after the holidays. The requirements and anticipation of long queues and possible waiting time before I could go to the hotel for my almost a week long quarantine gave me a lot of stress. I arrived Manila with none of the things I dreaded. I was lucky. I am very happy to have chosen this hotel. I had a stress free stay the entire time. From the moment I downloaded the app on my phone, everything was made easy for me. I can check in using the Marriott Bonvoy app and instantly get my electronic key. Pretty convenient especially at this time where contactless transaction is most ideal. I was warmly welcomed by Ms. Terens and Cristina. I was so surprised to get a room upgrade. Not just a bigger room but a suite! I would have gladly taken the suite if travelling with my family. I was just happy getting a bigger room than what I booked. They also booked a lab company to do my second swab test. The Premium room was very impressive. it was bright and clean. The bathroom was also big. Alcohol, wipes and disposable gloves were also provided. I got a balcony too overlooking the golf course. Something that I truly enjoyed while in quarantine. I had a few problems operating the much upgraded things in the room but Terens was very helpful and made sure that all my concerns were addressed and dealt with promptly. It was not enough that they were rectified, she will make sure that i am satisfied and offered assistance should i need anything in the future. I was also touched when she offered me coffee while my kettle was being replaced. I brought my own so i respectfully declined it. The next morning Terens called to make sure my TV was working properly. I did not like the theatre surround experience but that was resolved by sending me a video the night before on how to disconnect the unit from the TV set. They could not enter my room due to the strict safety measures implemented by the hotel and it was also late at night. Terens and the engineer thought of sending a video via viber. Brilliant idea. Terens listened to everything i say. When she found out i have been craving for "longanisa" and it was not on the menu, she asked if she could send me something close to it. Ordering room service can be done by scanning the QR code images from your TV and the one that they will give you when you get to the hotel. you can also request amenities from your phone. I had a lovely stay and hopefully be back soon. I will sure miss all the lovely staff from Guest Services. Kaycee helped follow up on my swab schedule and Mico also assisted me with my room service orders. The messages I send them were passed on promptly to whoever is in charge. Housekeeping did a good job in making sure the amenities that I ordered were delivered on time. A big thank you to Terens. She did set such a high standard in all aspect of customer service. She was pro active but not intrusive, sweet and very smart. She is willing to go an extra mile to make sure customer's needs are met. If there is one outstanding quality that the staff of Marriott possessed was their politeness. Polite answering to your questions in person, on the phone or even texts. Well done! This pandemic has indeed affected each and every one's lives including mine. Stayed there for almost 17 nights to do our quarantine while waiting for our ship to be released. It was a very stressful moment by that time however, I would like to thank these wonderful staff who welcomed me warmly: Joneva and Lester (smooth checkin,) Mico from at your service for getting back to me when somebody at 4:30 in the morning, door belled my room, only to find my packed breakfast. I did panic at that time since I thought we were already being picked up earlier than our expected departure date. Lastly, a special thanks to one of their Supervisors, Ms. Lyn Arianne Pasco, for being so kind, checking up on me from time to time. Hope to meet you all again soon. Take care!
It was a great service when my family and I have stayed at the Executive rooms several times and I loved the fresh branded toiletries. We enjoyed the executive lounge at breakfast and happy hour in the evening. I highly recommend staying in Manila Marriott.
Very comfortable rooms. Careful anti-COVID-19 strategies. But went down in evening and no one in reception (West Wing). I waited for about 20 minutes. Having few customers is no excuse for poor service, especially that I pay 5 star prices. Is it too much to ask that one person is always at reception in a 5 star hotel ? K
Stayed here for 2 Nights and I can say that rooms were clean and comfortable. Staffs were very accommodating. Safety measures was also implemented like availability of alcohols in most common areas, social distancing and disinfected rooms. Breakfast was also good. Overall stay was great and recommendable.
