Yellow toilet bowl cover in the hotel room aside, the Marriott failed to send me my room receipt by last evening (22 Sep) which they had promised when I checked out yesterday. Stayed here multiple times before for convenience to the international airport there. We will be staying there again soon in November. We have always had superior customer service experience on property and the location is adjacent to a complex of shops and restaurants. However the hotel website is not helpful when arranging to communicate directly with the property for special requests pre-arrival i.e. late airport pick up. So I am including this property's email address here for those of you who may need it marriotthotelmanila@marriott.com... which I found on a local Philippine website TBP PHL or Tourism Promotions Board Philippines. The service is excellent. We had the privilege to avail the executive lounge, Nikko was one of our server - so attentive and courteous. Carlo took care of our drinks. I forgot the 2 ladies that served us on our first night but they were so cute and dainty. JL was the one who helped us with the check in. Very friendly and professional! The rooms are big on the west wing. The concierge was kind enough to hold our balikbayan box until our check-out. The bellboys are pogi!! I forgot to get their names! Very kind and helpful. I can only say that the service is rated 5 stars! We are sure to come back! By the way, I forgot to mention the rooftop pool. If it wasn’t too crowded, its perfect. Staff that attended us were very nice.

This must be one of the finest Marriott properties in the world in terms of service. From the moment of arrival each and every staff member was delightful and engaging. The hospitality that the Philippines is famous for is clearly evident here. I was in a club room, the club was generously stocked and the staff remembered your name and made the stay highly personal. The club hours and services were also generous. My flight was late and even on a Saturday night there was no food available at 10;00 pm so I had room service. It was delicious, as was breakfast in the lounge. The room in the West Wing of the Hotel was really well equipped and in good working order. The decor was restful and I wished that I had more than one night to stay. The hotel is part of a cluster of hotels and Newport Mall is next door, I didn't get a chance to explore but it seemed very safe with lots of surrounding amenities. The hotel itself has multiple bars, restaurants and swimming pools. Runway Manila connects T3 at the airport to the Newport Hotels and you can get a golf cart across the skybridge and a complimentary van on the other side to the hotel. The vans run from 10 am to 2am. The trip to and from the hotel was seamless. I was in an airport lunge within 30 mInutes of leaving my room. My family and I stayed here two different times in June as we toured the Philippines. I was reluctant to choose this hotel as I am usually loyal to another brand. But, my father insisted we be near the airport for our island hopping plans. I am very glad he talked us into it. First of all, our check-in (both times) were extremely friendly, albeit with a little wait. They acknowledged my status as soon as they greeted me. We were placed on high floors with nice views and spa tubs. Both times, the rooms were VERY clean. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning worked well, which is important here! I had to move rooms during the first check-in as they placed us in an adjoining room to very noisy strangers (which I hate). But, they immediately made sure this was resolved. We had access to the club lounge which again had very friendly service. The snacks and drinks here came in handy for quick need as there is no store close by to the hotel. You can get both alcohol and non-alcohol drinks and hot food at set times. We also were able to visit the breakfast buffet for our stay. I would advise if you don’t have status, pay for this addition as it was well worth it. All the foods served were fresh and delicious. They had a lovely array of both breakfast and lunch/brunch items. My niece loved the fresh mangos, and my father loved the native food and fresh-squeezed juices. We went every day. The best part is it is available for a few hours, unlike some hotels that only serve for 2.5 hours. After our first stay, my sister realized she left something in the safe. We called the hotel a few days later inquiring if they found it and they had. They were so kind enough to hold it for us and presented the item upon our second check-in the following weekend! They also remembered our names. On our second stay, I visited hotel spa which has great extended hours. I managed to book a late night deep tissue massage and they were so kind when I had to move the time frame due a late outing. The spa was clean and luxurious. The bathroom and changing facility was private and all to myself! One of the best hotel spa and massage experiences I have ever had! We chose the Marriott hotel to celebrate my son's birthday we enjoyed the lunch we had at the Marriott cafe my kids love the chocolate fondue. we didn't expect that they would sing Happy birthday to my son thanks to their very energetic staff. also i would like to mention Manager Sam,Juliel and Donna for accomodating is as if we're part of their Family. lastly we end the night at the great room to unwind and have sime drinks their whiskey sour is spot on thanks to Kim and mikee for recommending one of their best drink and making sure that all we need are provided. highly recommended and cudos to Marriott Manila for giving us a wonderful experience.
