We stayed in Networld because of my sister's birthday wherein we opted for spa packages. The Kenko Spa is in the hotel so we thought it will be handy. I asked staff to buy cake and flowers for my sister and they were very accommodating to set it up in her room for a nice surprise. They did not charge me an arm and a leg so it was a bonus and made my sister's birthday very memorable for her. Room have very comfortable bed. A bit small but clean. Nice variety in breakfast bar. Room price is very reasonable for the service and location so cannot complain. I will recommend the place if wanted to stay in this area. It is close to CCP complex, Crown City of Dreams, Aquarium and park.

Tried the spa and casino of Networld. Spa is good, probably one of the better authentic Japanese spa in the metro. Enjoyed the massage, will definitely be back for more. For the casino, if you want an enjoyable yet discreet place to play, this place is worth a try.

They sent me an email after I put in my reservations on the web. They asked that I print out a request form and send it back to them. I did this. They offer free airport pickup and drop off, so I gave them our flight details. When we got to the airport no one picked us up. I called the Hotel and they said I have no reservations, but agreed to pick us up. Ninety minutes later a van showed up at the airport and took us to the hotel. When we arrived they had all our information and said they found my email. If you want reservations at this Hotel make sure you follow up on everything.

The room was not what we expected for a 3 star, very small and very smelly (Smoking). We mentioned the smell and they offered to allow us to smell other rooms, but said all rooms are smoking rooms. It was late at night so we agreed to take the room. Suddenly the room next door erupted in men and women laughing, banging the walls, and engaging in a loud sexual orgy. We asked to be moved to a quiet room and they agreed. Our room was on the 9th Floor, we thought they were having several earthquakes throughout the night; we learned later from the staff that it’s the elevators.

The TV is real hard to operate. I tried for 30 minutes and finally gave up. I called for a tech rep to help me and a person was there quickly. This is a TV/Satellite set up. They unplug all cords, roll them up, and tie them with wire. The Tech person seemed as lost as I was; he spent 35 minutes and finally got a station. He said every room was like this.

This Hotel is located in the middle of several Japanese bars. The clientele was all single males while we were there (Two days).

We had to leave at 5 am and could not use their free breakfast offered. They quickly packed us a bag breakfast that was very filling.

I had to stay in this hotel this month because it was very near Star City. My kid wanted to go to Star City with his friends but I had to drive him there and it's a litlle far from our house. I was feeling groggy from lack of sleep so I decided to check-in to Networld. I booked online on the same day before I left the house. All the other hotels nearby were full. Networld offered a reasonable price and I checked their website and they looked pretty decent. On the reservation page, they also tell you that you get a free spa for two for every booking. So I thought, what a nice offer, it's also already with buffet breakfast for two. BUT when I got to the hotel. There wasn't even any bellboy around. But that was fine, I didnt have much stuffs anyway as I only needed a place to sleep for a night while my kid spends the night with his friends. The receptionist was ok. They did their job ok. Didn't like the room area though. Was at the side of the hotel where I could see some construction going on down at the side of the hotel. Nevertheless, I could still see Roxas Boulevard and Star City. I chose an executive room because an executive room is the only room they have twin beds. The room is spacious. But it lacked lightings. They only have dim lights!! And first thing I noticed at the Mini Bar is a condom!!! I mean OMG this is the first time I have been to a "hotel" that has a condom at the Mini Bar. Ok. Maybe I'm ignorant but really, it's my first time and I thought was really inappropriate. I had to cover the condom so that my kid wouldnt see or notice it. Oh and BTW, The condom isn't free. Just like the items in the Mini Bar. You get charged for it if you used it. They also have a box of tissue at the Mini Bar that IS NOT free. Anyway, the bathroom was ok. Bath and Tub arent separate. Dont expect a soap bar because they only have liquid soap and shampoo in dispensers on the bathroom wall. I suggest you bring your own soap and shampoo because theirs is of low quality. I chose to have food delivered from a nearby restaurant because I was alone and didnt want to have dinner out without my kid and the hotel's menu didnt look appetizing to me. But when the food arrived at the hotel. They called my room to tell me to come down and pick it up at the lobby. Im like hello?? Why cant you let them deliver it to my room or have it taken up to me? They said, they dont have anyone to do that. I'm like what the heck?? What kind of a hotel is this. I told the receptionist, I am already in my jammies and I dont want to go down and pick it up. So she told me she'd just ask their security guard to do us a favor and take my food to my room. So Im like whatever. Then they did take it to my room but the person didnt look like a security guard. weird. Anyway, I gave him a tip for doing me a FAVOR. *rolls eyes*. My kid arrived from Star City late in the evening with his friends, they are all boys. and I told them they could use the free spa if they wanted to. and they did. there were four of them and the free spa was only for two people. So I paid extra for his other two friends. When they got back from the spa, they told me it was a little shocking because there were only Japanese people there and they were all naked!! It's a nude spa!!! Like the Japanese Way kind of Spa. I DIDNT KNOW THAT. If I knew, I wouldnt have let them go there. They are 15 and 16 year olds. ARGH. Anyway, too late to do anything. They said they just enjoyed the hot bubbling bath. Didnt bother to get a massage or anything else as everyone there was naked. I paid extra P600 per person for the two other friends of my kid to enjoy a nude spa. *rolls eyes again* Those people at the front desk didnt even inform the kids when they went down there to get their locker keys. ANYWAY. The rooms arent sound proof. I could loudly hear anyone walking and talking at the corridors (mostly japanese people). In the morning, my kid and I went to their resto for the free buffet breakfast. And much to our surprise, the guests eating there were mostly japanese men and their filipina partners. THE FOOD SUCKED! There are only two kinds of food there. Japanese food for the japanese guests, and filipino food for the japanese men's filipina partners. *rolls eyes*. The food buffet consisted of a FEW choices of TINAPA (Filipino smoked fish), and Ensaladang OKRA (Raw Okra Salad), Chicken Tocino that was super dry, Rice and then Oily Japanese Miso soup. That's it. They had Japanese spreads or sandwich fillings and bread. Only desserts are fruits. And their Egg station is hidden in a corner you wouldnt notice unless you ask where the egg station is or if they have one. Not the kind of food menu I expected being a traveler and having to stay at other hotels. This is the worst breakfast menu or buffet ever. OH and another thing, their cafe or resto is MINISCULE! Not much space there and not much tables and chairs. Before checking out, I asked the front desk if I could get a couple hours of extension since I checked-in late at 6:30 pm instead of 2pm. And she said, we can only give you an hour extension and she sounded unfriendly. Oh well, THANKS for the 1 hour extension. *rolls eyes*. At check out, they dont have an official receipt except the one they usually print on a bond paper. Except that their paper didnt have a letter head. It is literally a bond paper. and they dont even put it in an envelope. they just fold it and hand it to you. and oh, no bellboy to assist you with your luggage! Totally, not a nice hotel for me. I wouldnt go back or recommend this hotel to anyone!!

Whether you take a public transportation or drive your own car, going to this hotel when you are in Manila is a must. You need not have to spend a fortune in a five start hotel. Here, the competitive price, good location and the must try Kenko spa are the reasons why guests come here. They've a casino, cafe, Japanese restaurant and many more.

A lot of Japanese come here as well as Europeans and Americans because it's near the beautiful tourists spots in Manila. Food is great. The coffee shop has complete hot and cold beverage line-up and has entertainment area where live singers performed.

It's around 15 minutes drive to the airport.

Rooms are noisy. Air conditioning is useless. Wifi and internet connection practically non existent. My shower didn't work after I complained about it three times and to TOP it all off I was woken up by a cockroach climbing on my face. Absolutely disgusting. Will never stay here again.

ONE NIGHT IN EARLY SEPTEMBER 2014

I picked this hotel because it was close to t NAIA and I wanted a brief, easy stop before returning to the States.

The Bell Staff greeted me and cared for me fantastically. The Desk Staff was prompt and professional, if not courteous (especially for what you always come to expect in Philippines).

My room was approx 3 x 5 meters and the bathroom was about 2.5x5 (specious for a studio sized room. The double bed was good enough to sleep, but the noise from Roxas Blvd was noisy and the room and hall carpets were both dingy. The wallpaper in the room was cracked along the length of every seam.

I returned to the FD and asked the staff how old the property was and they replied 13 years. It had aged poorly,

Also, I went in for dinner and the 2nd floor resto was pretty decent, although I had picked one of the weirdest areas (outside the elevator) to eat. Still, the Japanese-Italian fusion dinner was quick and really good. The price was very value-conscious.

THe next morning, I had free breakfast, but had to pay 110p for the SINGLE COKE ZERO I had ordered with the meal. That seemed a little outlandish, esp. since it was just a single Coke and I didnt drink any juice, milk, or anything else - all of which could easily cost more to the property - seems like an obviously missed opportunity for Customer Service.

Other than that, the sleep was decent, if not great and I

we barely made it past the front desk before cancelling our reservation and finding a different hotel. hotel is in a bad location, it's dirty, and if you request a non-smoking room you'll be lucky if someone "sprays" the room to mask the odor. do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else!

Stayed here, a week after returning from dive trip to south side of island. Rooms are tiny, halls dim with threadbare carpet.

Staff was friendly enough, just a bit abrupt.

Does have casino, if that is your thing.

Only runs hotel shuttle in the morning. About $10-12 for cab to airport.

For budget travel, there are better selections (like the Remington ).

We had an overnight stay using a deluxe room in Networld Hotel Manila. We're very happy and satisfied how the staff assisted us. They were very accommodating. We didn't expect the room would be as nice as how we saw it knowing that the hotel is considered as one of the oldest hotels in Manila. It's well-maintained. We'll definitely go back even if the location is 2 hours away from us cos it's all worth it!
