We needed a hotel in Manila close to the airport.

The Savoy is near the Resorts World Casino/mall complex and maybe 15 minutes away from the airport.

The front desk staff were very pleasant staff and check in was easy and quick as we had reservations.

The room was somewhat small, but nicely furnished with a double bed, desk, TV, and coffee maker.

The AC worked fine and the room was cool and pleasant.

The bed however, was pretty sad. The mattress seemed old and saggy. At least the linens were clean. my back was pretty sore after a night.

The bathroom was rather small, but clean.

TV was medium sized and there were a few English channels.
There was a safe in the room.
There were outlets that would charge US phones.

There was a pool with a bar/lounge area adjacent to it. The pool is indoor, but the walls are open air so it gives the feeling of being outside. Sadly because there was no sun, the pool was cool.

There was a nice gym with free weights and some machines. The machines appeared to be in good order. There was a spa where one could arrange a massage for about $20.

One interesting thing that has certainly changed since I started travelling to the Philippines 15 years ago. Noone would take US dollars. In fact even the hotel was unable to change money. I had to walk 3 blocks to the casino.

There was a buffet restaurant in the lobby which was fine.

Overall the hotel was clean, safe, and convenient. The staff was all very pleasant and helpful. If they put a new mattress on the bed I would say it was perfect for my needs. the staff and service made up for the crummy bed so they get 4 stars.

Every OFW can agree that going home to your family during the troubling times of pandemic is very time-consuming and stressful. With that being said, I cannot express how great the customer service is in Savoy Hotel Manila. As soon as I arrived, I was welcomed by an outstanding room. Cleanliness is one of the things we look forward to when staying in hotels, especially these days. It's obvious that everything was thoroughly cleaned, scrubbed, and disinfected to protect the health of staying guests.

The staff catered to all of my needs. I would like to commend Jerome de Pio, Zeke, and Aubrey for providing me quality customer service. Once the pandemic is over, I would gladly bring my family here for them to experience what Hotel Savoy Manila can offer.

Kudos!

I personally loved the keycard - a wooden card. I wanted to keep it as what I do in other hotels but it must be surrendered upon check out. They really live up to their environmental friendly advocacy.

The location is also perfect for travelers who have their flight the next day or so. There are also lots of restaurants to choose from in its vicinity and a nice place to have a walk.

The hotel staff are friendly and accommodating and always ready to give someone a hand.

Room is small but still comfortable. I requested for an airport view but was given a full-wall view instead, which can be quite depressing if you are about to leave the country for quite a time.

The buffet breakfast looks appetizing though the choices are limited. Bottled water is also supplied daily, even when you are about to check out. Overall, we had a really nice stay.

Very disappointed that Savoy connot meet with minor requests considering that guests have booked for 5 days. The pillows are very soft and low and the hotel will "NOT" be able to provide extra pillow for sleeping. Considering that they cannot even provide a simple solution of desk/study table for a room that 2 people paid extra for the stay for 5 days. How do you expect during times of COVID crisis for guests to work on laptops with no table nor extra pillows to support back to be able to sit on bed and work and have a good sleep. Local staff are very nice though. But management lacks flexibility and customer service.

We booked the suite room for 3Nights 4 Days and it was spotless and smells really nice. The hotel's location is very convenient because it is just minutes away from the airport and it is situated in Newport City wherein restaurants, malls and grocery shops are just nearby. The staff are very nice, helpful and prompt especially with our requests. The breakfast was ok hope that the food will be refilled once it runs out. Overall, we had a good rest because the room is very quiet and cold.

I am staying in savoy hotel and it is nice great view great services if you need something they will do all they can to help you out. And will check up on you to make sure everything is to your liking. If you have questions about anything they with have the answer for you or will help you find out. Housekeeping does a outstanding job front desk as well, the food tastes get and if you want something to add to your food say it be salt pepper butter or even jam they will get it for you. I would recommend this hotel to all for there say and will come back for sure. But not for just quarantine but to tour around manila and it's sites. Also convenient for travel it is close to terminal 3.

The Savoy Hotel is located close to Terminal 3 of NAIA Airport in Manila. I was working for the Airport Authority so the location was great. The hotel is located in nice district of Manila with the Marriot Resorts complex about 10 minutes walk away, with its designer shops and food eating court, a great place to visit at night after a days work.

The rooms in the hotel are extremely comfortable and adequate for a business trip, with the room serviced each day. The Breakfast in the restaurant was excellent, well stocked with all catering tastes including Omelettes made fresh by the chef.

The hotel facilities include a Gym, Indoor Pool as well as sauna and Steam room. The pool was a little on the cool side and there is no where to sunbathe or get any direct sun within the hotel which was the only downside to the pool area.

All in all a good hotel which I would stay at again if I visit Manila in the future.

My stay at Savoy was excellent and they strictly follow the health guidelines with regular cleaning, temperature check, and social distancing that made me feel safe while I was there. The food were delicious and they have attentive employees who assist your needs. I would like to thank Ms. Esa Allisa in making sure my special requests are accommodated. In fairness to Savoy, they allowed me the same rate they have given me last time. Honestly, this is something I really like about Savoy, they are open for negotiations.

As usual, the rooms are small but neat. It has complete set of 4 water bottles, coffee and tea sets, toiletries including lotion in a big bottle. It also has 2 wardrobes.

My room is on the 6th floor (6026). I like the higher floor honestly. Though at least I have experienced being on the 6th floor.

I also have visited the facilities of the hotel like the Sauna which is on the 2nd floor. The crew told me that upon using the sauna, the front desk people have to be advised. If you plan to use the gym make sure you are wearing your gym outfit particularly your rubber shoes.

The breakfast complimentary buffet is so the same. There was charcuterie, bread section and the egg section with the special taho. My fave part of the buffet is their charcuterie, grapes, strawberries, wallnuts and pistachio nuts.

If you have early flights, you can ask them to pack your breakfast or pack them yourselves.

For my second time, no welcome drink offered. Last time they told me that I have to go to the pool area and just ask for it. I went there since it's just beside the sauna room, the attendant said that the welcome drink is at the cafe.

It's an 7/10 for me.

Thank you, Savoy!

Clean and comfy, complete amenities but I think its was built for travelers that needs a place to leave things or while waiting for flight. Hotel also has a lot of establishments around so food, groceries and the like will not be a problem. We stayed here for just a weekend staycation so we find it less spacious. Buffet breakfast was great and has lot of selection. Pool is great and nice for pictures. Downside for me is the massage. The bed in the spa room is moving that every time the therapist put pressure the bed moves. Also, the room was too bright, it was not as in super bright or lighted, but too bright for a spa room, it was like you are in a regular room. Also, the therapist is obviously not an employee of the hotel or exclusive therapist of the hotel.

Sorry, we have always just taken a taxi or private car to the hotel, have never used the hotel shuttle service. It is very close to the airport, taxi & transport is cheap & I would imagine much faster than a shuttle.
