I’m very pleased with their Customer Service at Savoy Hotel in Pasay City, Manila. I have to mention and thank AJ Feliciano at the Service Desk who was exceptional in sorting out the complexities of our room reservation. She was calm, composed and nothing was too hard for her to accomplish. The room we stayed in was clean, spacious and the hotel was in close proximity to NAIA. We are looking forward to their well- renowned buffet tomorrow morning.

We are definitely coming back to Savoy Hotel when we return to Manila in the not-so-distant future.

Thanks AJ and staff for a job well done!

My wife and I stayed for one night during a recent business trip with an overnight layover in Manila. The hotel is located right across the street from Terminal 3 (you can actually walk it using the Skyway). It is also a short ride from Terminals 1, 2, and 4.

Checkin was very quick and easy. We were given a room on the 4th floor. The room was large enough and fairly modern. The bathroom is a little on the smaller side but was ok for our needs.

The air conditioning was strong and wifi was fast and easily accessible. We appreciated that there are outlets next to each side of the bed. In the days of having gadgets to charge overnight that might also serve as the morning alarm, it is helpful to be able to charge things within reach. The amenities kit provided the essentials.

Our booking included the breakfast buffet, which is available from 6-10am. We arrived downstairs for breakfast at 8:30am and we had to wait about 5-10 minutes to be able to go in as they were busy. Not sure if this is a regular occurrence or not. It could be very inconvenient for anyone on a tight schedule. The actual buffet was alright, there was a nice mix of food available.

Checkout was also very quick. They have a dropbox for checkout, which is what we used since we were only there for less than 12 hours during our layover.

The hotel also advertises a free airport shuttle. We didn't use it because of the timing, and getting a private ride from there to the airport is only P150-250 depending on which terminal. The staff at the front desk informed us that it leaves Savoy at 10 minutes past the hour every hour, 24 hours a day.

All in all we had a nice stay. It was everything that we needed. If staying longer, there is also Resorts World and all of the restaurants within close walking distance. There are quick a few hotels all in the surrounding area. There are more upscale ones available (for a much higher price point as well), but this was exactly what we needed.

Our flight to Zamboanga got cancelled last Tuesday, Feb 11, and instead of going home, we opted to just check in at a hotel since we were able to get an early morning flight the following day.
While at the airport, we checked online and Savoy offered the lowest price compared to other nearby hotels.
We got 2 twin sharing rooms.
Upon check-in, we still ended up paying around Php 5,689 per room (including taxes) without breakfast which to me is a bit pricey (for a more or less 12 hr stay).

The hotel is nice. Basement parking is ok. I booked a function room here last year for a meeting and all my guests were able to park.
The Hotel is just in front of NAIA T3 so its veeeeeeryyyyy convenient. You actually walk to the airport. Maybe its one of the reasons for its price.
The room is small. But clean. Bed and pillows are comfy.
As for the staff, no complaints, no extraordinary experience either. Although they were very accommodating when i had my meeting here.

I guess that’s it. The clincher would be the breakfast. I think all hotels should at least include breakfast. The customer satisfaction greatly outweighs the cost. For Php 5,689 per night, its not like a guest can eat that much to put the hotel at a loss.

Would still recommend staying here mainly for the convenience it offers to travelers. However, there are more hotels nearer to the footbridge which offers the same price or maybe even less but has bfast included. (Also spent a night at Holiday in express last year and they do have bfast included. Just failed to do a review)

I stayed at Savoy Hotel for mandatory 14days quarantine when PH Gov imposed travel ban to some countries. Thanks to Randel Tondoc of Front Office for making it possible to arrange the hotel booking in a very short notice. It was a pleasant stay! thanks to Ms. Shai Mestosamente for taking all the queries and good job to the security team, specially to sir Cesar Taypin, who made an extra mile to receive my food orders and deliver it on my front door!

The room is clean, huge and comfortable.. Bed and pillows are also very comfy.. Drinks are delivered everyday, garbage are collected everyday (just leave it in front of the door), toiletries are replenished upon request, internet is available with decent speed - was able to work without any problem. Hotel staff are all professional, accommodating and friendly..

Will book again on my future stay! :-)

My husband and I would like to express our sincere appreciation to the staff of Savoy Hotel for taking care of us during our event. Special thanks to Ms. Esa Allisa who have been patient with all our queries and was very accommodating to all our requests. She made sure that everything will flow smoothly and that our requests, even to the little detail, were granted. To Mr. Noryel Taperla, thank you for referring us to this hotel. If it had not been for you, we would not have such a successful event to remember. We also enjoyed the sumptious meals prepared by the team of Mr. Taperla. To the Banquet Manager, thank you as well for the on the day assistance. We liked that he asks us from time to time if we need anything. We really felt the hospitality of the staff by the way they welcomed us and our guests. It is also notable that the place is observing the safety and sanitation protocol such as contactless checkout, availability of sanitizers, among others. With this awesome experience, we definitely would recommend this hotel to our friends as soon as everything is back to normal.

Stayed for one night between flights.
The rooms are great and the bathrooms have toothbrush, toothpaste, conditioner as well as shampoo, razor, sewing kit, body moisturiser... Best toiletries of our trip!
The hotels facilities are impressive - free shuttle to and from the airport (although couldn't find the shuttle stop on arrival so we got a taxi that way), lovely restaurant, cool pool and sun loungers, Netflix at squares lounge, really lovely staff.
It was also really busy when we stayed due to the manila lockdown coming up yet they managed to provide breakfast on 2nd floor for those of us queueing at restaurant on ground floor.
Great hotel.

The location is good for travellers who are catching their flight at NAIA. The room is like a cell. I felt like staying in a business hotel in Tokyo costing 50-60 bucks. The swimming pool is like a public bath not for lap swimmers. The food is nothing special, just like out of microwave-oven meals. I would go to other places like Sofitel paying a few more dollars.

Savoy Hotel needs to get its act together. This hotel lacks accountability to their customers' safety, comfort and satisfaction. We waited more than 30 minutes to get through a clogged entry road, as they allow double parking on this narrow thoroughfare. Guests need to carry their heavy luggage and walk to the entrance, whilst traversing slightly moving vehicles. And, what if a fire ensues? How will the fire truck get access? Entry and egress should not be obstructed. Another issue was their breakfast buffet - let alone the stale and mediocre food - we waited 30 minutes in a queue to get to a table. Also, they do not own the shuttle service around the integrated area, so you will have to walk 25 minutes each way if going to/from Newport Mall. Tonight, we waited almost 45 min and still no shuttle. Never again are we staying at this hotel.

Sorry, we have always just taken a taxi or private car to the hotel, have never used the hotel shuttle service. It is very close to the airport, taxi & transport is cheap & I would imagine much faster than a shuttle.
