Away from the tourist strip, but I was impressed with the cleanliness, layout and space in this very livable studio apartment. Friendly and helpful staff, modern, quiet, tastefully decorated, and excellent budget accommodation. The location is not for everyone, but I experienced no hassles or badgering from people in the area (different to Makati) and felt safe at all times of day and night. Convenience store almost next door, a good (inexpensive) shopping mall and market a block away, If you are confident using Jeepneys and want a nice clean budget accommodation, the location is not a problem.Apartment includes refrigerator, electric hotplate, jug etc for basic cooking, small table, living area, dressing room and bedroom. A home away from home. I enjoyed 8 days here in August 2012 and would go back again.

Stayed here in January 2014. The property is small. Next to it is a convenience store, across the street is a gas station and a pharmacy.

PROS:
Easy access to public transportation.
Room design is contemporary,and clean.
Air conditioning works well.

CONS:
You can hear the vehicles from your room.
Bed sheets are really thin-like handkerchief thin! No extra blanket.
No elevator.
Cash payment only if you are extending your stay or a walk in.

its a cheap apartelle and accessible to public transport. clean and quiet place to stay. staff are available 24 hours and they are courteous. 24 hours security in the main entrance. several stores and restaurants in walking distance. you can bring a portable stove or oven if you want to prepare your own food. airconditioning is fair enough.

I had an ok stay at Joyce Apartelle. I arrived very early on May 2nd. Check in was average with time taken to fill out the check in application. I climbed 3 flights of stairs (No elevators). My room was a larger sized room. Fairly clean. With cabinets and electric stove (no pots, pans, or utensils). My biggest issue was with the a/c. The a/c did not cool the room very well. The room did contain a floor fan which greatly helped cool the room. The Bathroom was typically asian small, but serves its purpose. The hotel location is well placed for restaurants, malls, and convience stored (There is a SM mall within a short walking distance), as well as local food stalls and vendors. I was satisfied overall with my stay, but would suggest a stronger a/c, The Floor fan was much appreciated.

Stayed for 10 days, althought location was ideal and rate was cheap, service could have been better. Room size and furniture are okay.
Rooms arent clean everyday unless you request for it. Room keys have to be dropped off at reception every time you go out. Has small kitchenette but no plates and spoons to use. Bathroom mat filfthy and not changed at all during the 10 day stay.
Staffs are friendly though, and try to help as much as they can.
