I have previously stayed at 2 other Go Hotels and I had a pleasant experience but Go Hotels Mandaluyong was a disappointment. My husband and I decided to stay at said hotel since it was walking distance from our daughter’s condo. When my husband and I left to do some shopping, I left word with the Front desk staff on duty (Mark Escobido) that we did not want our room cleaned nor touched at all since I had disinfected the things in the room (meaning the door knobs, light switches, faucets and toilet seat). He immediately said “okay ma’am” and even asked for my room # again. However, when my husband and I came back, we found that the room had been made up. I called front desk and was able to talk to Michelle Senomio (Hotel Associate). She said Mark Escobido was just a trainee and had misunderstood what I said. Whatever, I had to disinfect the things in the room again. I told Michelle to report the matter to her superior, Angela Katipunan (not sure of her name), whom she said was in a meeting at that time. Taking note of guest’s special instructions is very important. That was a disappointing experience.

We had nice stay. Clean beds, linens and pillows. The surroundings are well maintained. The Room is nice and cozy and surprisingly they have more rooms than expected, very huge hallways.
Very accommodating staffs. On check-in and They allow me to put foods/ small seafood inside common refrigerator and chiller.
The Elevator is slow. There's a parking fee of P120 per Entry.
If your looking on a budget and instant booking around Mandaluyong, GoHotels is the choice.

Below are my pros and cons on this branch of go hotels:

Pros:
1) Excellent location. Near SM Light DC and other restaurants. Unfortunately, there's no more Robinson's Pioneer
2) Clean and nice bed compared to other cheap hotels. Bathroom is also clean. They have bidet now which is an improvement because they don't have that years ago. I regularly book this hotel so I know the difference.
3) aircon is good. Room is cold
4) Great staffs and customer service.
5) Budget friendly
6) You can refill your bottled water on every floor. They have like 3 - 4 water refilling stations per floor.
7) There's an electric kettle and mug so you can have your own cup of coffee at the convenience of your room
8) Two access cards.

Cons:
1) Electric outlet is not universal so you need an adaptor.
2) Their safety deposit box seems to be not maintained properly. I always use that because that's where I leave my passport and other valuables. It was ok for a few years until this December when I checked-in. I transferred to 3 different rooms just to have a working safety deposit box.
3) Towels are a bit old like maybe they can replace those that need some stitches at the hem part.

Overall, it was good. I like how they provide space where you can put your stuffs in the bathroom.

Room for improvement:
1. Hopefully there's already available drinking water inside the room. Also, it won't hurt to provide at least one set of 3-in-1 coffee or tea.

2. Amenities says free toiletries. Make sure the shampoo / soap container is not empty. (Expectations versus Reality)

3. I asked for a quiet room. I was placed on the farthest side of the hotel. However, they should also consider the excavation going on the next street.

4. Improve lightings.

Thank you.

First hotel room given to me has a problem with power switch.

I requested for an hair dyer, been requesting for 2 days unfortunately I did not got one. As per front desk there was bo available, maybe you should add more so u can accommodate more.

The plated breakfast was not good enough. Server was not friendly at all, first day bfast beef tapa, the beef was tough, second bfast creamer for coffee was not available. Again the server was not accommodating.

I requested for wake up call, but no wake up call at 5am.

I hope service will improve.

I booked a wrong promo they assisted me and waived my mistake to still get a good rate.

Stayed with my 5 mo boy and they were very considerate with the checkout since I needed to extend a little time since my baby took a nap. We werent charged.

When i stayed in the lobby with my child their concern showed by asking if cooling in room was okay and if i wanted a room change.

I stayed in a room 6002. TV remote control is need to change, i don't know if this is due to the battery. Water in the shower room takes time to empty. Frequent intermittent wifi connection.

Elevator is generally safe but it is so slow.

There were two cockroaches upon entry to the room. Room also smelled of cigarettes. Air conditioning was not cold and did not reach the full room. Unacceptable, especially considering we payed extra for early check in. Staff was slow to respond to our request of room transfer thus wasting our time.

The pillows and blankets throughout the room were clean and spotless. There was no smell at all and the air conditioning worked well. There was only a copy port in my room, no refrigerator or other home appliances, but this was enough. It's not easy to fill out 200 characters in Korean. Dentures and accessibility are good here, but Manila has a road environment where cars are constantly crowded and you have to turn around, so it often takes much longer than what appears on Google Maps. Why can't I write a review the way I want? I don't understand why I should write it down. Please clean it well.

Go hotels aren't as flexible. Even if you check in at 7am, you will still need to wait for 2pm as this is their standard check in time. The rate is approximately USD30 give or take. It's cheaper if you book 3-4months earlier. It will only cost USD16 (est).

yes, i've seen a walk in guest booking and i dont see any cut off time in their booking schedule. If you are booking at 1am, they have staff at the reception area. But I guess, best if you can do online booking, saves you from hassles

Hi! I'm not affiliated with Go Hotels Mandaluyong so I do not have specific answers to your questions. The room we booked though was a double room, with 1 double bed that can comfortably fit two adults. The room was not very spacious so I'm not sure if they can fit in an extra bed and extra people. You can check the hotel's website instead.
