Value for Money. The Room is newly renovated and clean. With basic amenities such as water heater, unlimitted supply of drinking water. Thr towel are clean . It took me very quick to check in and check out. The front desk staff are courteous and professional. I will tecommend this to friends. The parking space is secured and guarded. Very accessible for grab food delivery.
Below are my pros and cons on this branch of go hotels: Pros: 1) Excellent location. Near SM Light DC and other restaurants. Unfortunately, there's no more Robinson's Pioneer 2) Clean and nice bed compared to other cheap hotels. Bathroom is also clean. They have bidet now which is an improvement because they don't have that years ago. I regularly book this hotel so I know the difference. 3) aircon is good. Room is cold 4) Great staffs and customer service. 5) Budget friendly 6) You can refill your bottled water on every floor. They have like 3 - 4 water refilling stations per floor. 7) There's an electric kettle and mug so you can have your own cup of coffee at the convenience of your room 8) Two access cards. Cons: 1) Electric outlet is not universal so you need an adaptor. 2) Their safety deposit box seems to be not maintained properly. I always use that because that's where I leave my passport and other valuables. It was ok for a few years until this December when I checked-in. I transferred to 3 different rooms just to have a working safety deposit box. 3) Towels are a bit old like maybe they can replace those that need some stitches at the hem part.…
There were two cockroaches upon entry to the room. Room also smelled of cigarettes. Air conditioning was not cold and did not reach the full room. Unacceptable, especially considering we payed extra for early check in. Staff was slow to respond to our request of room transfer thus wasting our time.
I have previously stayed at 2 other Go Hotels and I had a pleasant experience but Go Hotels Mandaluyong was a disappointment. My husband and I decided to stay at said hotel since it was walking distance from our daughter’s condo. When my husband and I left to do some shopping, I left word with the Front desk staff on duty (Mark Escobido) that we did not want our room cleaned nor touched at all since I had disinfected the things in the room (meaning the door knobs, light switches, faucets and toilet seat). He immediately said “okay ma’am” and even asked for my room # again. However, when my husband and I came back, we found that the room had been made up. I called front desk and was able to talk to Michelle Senomio (Hotel Associate). She said Mark Escobido was just a trainee and had misunderstood what I said. Whatever, I had to disinfect the things in the room again. I told Michelle to report the matter to her superior, Angela Katipunan (not sure of her name), whom she said was in a meeting at that time. Taking note of guest’s special instructions is very important. That was a disappointing experience.…
I booked a wrong promo they assisted me and waived my mistake to still get a good rate. Stayed with my 5 mo boy and they were very considerate with the checkout since I needed to extend a little time since my baby took a nap. We werent charged. When i stayed in the lobby with my child their concern showed by asking if cooling in room was okay and if i wanted a room change. ---
I stayed in a room 6002. TV remote control is need to change, i don't know if this is due to the battery. Water in the shower room takes time to empty. Frequent intermittent wifi connection. Elevator is generally safe but it is so slow.
Excellent services from all the staff, from housekeeping, security, and FOs. Most especially Ms. Jane Dayao and Mary Ann Vinson. Been visiting this hotel property for quite long already and they never fail to satisfy my needs and always thankful for the assistance whenever I'm in need.
We booked our stay mar14- 21 then mar 16, 2020 Monday the staff given us notice hotel is closing on March 18 Wednesday. Then later the hotel staff called us at 11 pm while we are sleeping that hotel is closing March 17 Tuesday 12 noon. With no help given to be accommodated to other hotel nor transportation. And payment refund not given. We have to wait 2 weeks to 3 months. Bad experience with this hotel. The government had announced a no new reservation law but could still keep existing reservations. They did this to everyone staying in the hotel. Shame on you !
Been to Go Hotels Timog, which sets my expectation. However Go Hotel Mandaluyong failed to satisfy me. Toiletries were not complete. Room type is not the same as what I experienced in Timog. Aircon is not so cool. I don't know, Im not really satisfied.
The bed was still amazing and very comfortable. The only problem was there's only one elevator working, hence taking time to roam within the building. The shower was also good without having problem with the warmth flow. Matresses are clean and can be replaced daily, just don't forget to request for it.
