I had a large room on the top floor - Quiet and spacious, with a super nice style. Small balcony is nice to get some fresh air The restaurant is awesome, they have a good menu and the prices are fair Very friendly atmosphere, the waiter has been super efficient and friendly Breakfast starts at 7:00 in the morning The receptionist has been super kind to book me a Grab taxi to get to the airport after checkout.
I booked 3 nights there and ended up extending 1 more. The location in Makati is great, very central, the rooms are spacious, well decorated and super super clean, and the food at the restaurant is delicious. All the staff was super helpful, and Armi & Manu (who speak French) gave me some great advice to plan my diving trip (thank you again!!). Will definitely stay there again when passing by Manila!
I should have realised this was a French run place, they would not say hello and rarely answer back if talking to them. Some of the Philipino staff were nice. The breakfast breads were burnt, Coffee ok, room was ok but pricey. I got interrogated everytime my girlfriend came past and was embarassing for her, even though I paid for x2 people in the room. I got charged an almighty bill for a couple of drinks out of the mini bar and was more than 10x the price of anywhere up the road, I even checked the equivilent drinks from the reception bar menu and they still charged me nearly double of what it would have cost from the reception bar. I was told water was complimentary but got charged 100php per bottle of water I drank from the mini bar I couldnt be bothered arguing with them as…
If you're visiting the Makati area this is a low-priced option right in the heart of the P Burgos redlight district. The rooms are small (hence called boutique) with a minimalist design and very basic amenities. WIFI is available and very strong. Cable is provided and air conditioning works perfectly. There is some street noise but bearable at night. The surrounding neighborhood has not been fully gentrified and so you'll see patches of old rusting rooftops, something management has mo control over. We felt safe when we were there. Staff was very accomodating and eager to please. We did not try their restaurant as we were out and about most of our stay. There are a lot of eating places within walking distance. The A Venue mall is a fun place to have dinner with cheap but great…
Stayed here for a night as we were winding down our trip to the Philippines and flying out early the next day. The hotel is stylish and chic and really makes a statement on the block. The bar/cafe is an excellent place to unwind after a long day of travel and the staff were incredibly warm and lovely. The room itself was just okay. In general it was cute, but as other reviews noted it wasn't the quietest. The room door to the hall was basically hollow, which allowed 100% of the sounds from the hall to come through. This wasn't a huge deal because we are easy sleepers but it did make us feel a bit exposed even in our own room. The bathroom was rather spartan, and though it was clean it wasn't well decorated and we were given an old torn up bathmat/towel to use for the floor.…
