It’s a short walk to the Rockwell Center and Powerplant Mall. There are also many shops and restaurants along Makati Avenue which is just a 10 minute walk away. Beside that, the new Century City development nearby boasts of a new high-end mall. It is also one short ride away from the EDSA Guadalupe MRT station (about 1.5 kms), and the Makati Central Business District is also only 1.5 kms away. Being in a residential area, it is ideal for guests who enjoys close proximity to Makati Business district, but not exactly in it. Walking late at night is not recommended unless you are familiar with the place already. On the other hand, if you would like to get a feel of the local culture, excellent hospitality and a more laid-back style, then this place is a very good value for money.

The room was comfortable and the staff was accommodating. For the price paid it was fantastic, given its in the heart of Makati. It's easy to grab a taxi or jeepeny. There were some street noise but not so bad. Just note there are no elevators but the staff will assist in carrying your luggage. One minor complaint is the check out time is 11 am, but overall if your looking to mind your wallet and want a safe and clean place to stay in Makati, this is it.

The Riverside Inn was great for our short stay in Manila.

When we first arrived we thought the hotel seemed a bit odd. No sign stating it was a hotel, iron gates, random make shift desk for reception.

But the room and bathroom were very clean.

The bathroom was really small but had a nice shower (which had hot water and good shower pressure)

The staff was beyond friendly. They were so helpful with everything.

I didn't like the entire area of Makati. I thought it seemed a bit unsafe but I had that feeling all over Manila.

Watch out for cabs at the airport. It should only cost 200-350 Php to the hotel. Make sure you get a metered taxi that says "meter tested and sealed (there's a sticker on the front window). Sometimes the meter clicks double the amount it should. There's a taxi stand once you exit the airport. We hired a car from a guy that talked to us when we left the airport and it cost us $1800
The hotel said another customer paid $4800.

Very clean and safe Hotel with comfortable rooms to stay in Makati with good combination of rate and services. Advisable especially for couples or solo travellers, it's located in the end of Makati Ave on riverside, around 1km from Rockwell Mall and Immigration Office but many restaurants and supermarkets around. Not noisy area and sleep well. No lift inside. At the reception Morris and Jea guarantee good kindness and assistance for any possible mess.

The staff is really nice and helpful, they helped me with everything that i needed. The room are little small but good quality, nothing to complain about for the price, the wifi was really good. The only bad point would be the position of the place. The close area is not really safe, but 2 streets and 5 minutes walk and you are in a better area

Makati Riverside Inn is our sanctuary in Manila and we are so happy to have discovered it a couple of months ago, not long after it opened and while they were still adding the finishing touches. A lovely guesthouse, renovated with care, with clean modern rooms, comfy beds, nice linen and good wifi. It's located in a safe residential street by the river and just a short walk to Power Plant Mall and Century City Mall. What really makes this place special though is Morris and his team. Totally professional, warm and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. This is our second stay and we feel like family.

We stayed here twice during our trip to the Philippines, it's a new hotel so all fixtures and fittings are clean and new. Because of this it provides great value for money compared to other hotels we looked at in Manila, added it to this is the great service provided by the friendly staff and the convenient location of being a short hop from Rockwell mall and the Guadeloupe MRT station. Highly recommend it!!

Makati riverside inn has to be one of the best values in Manila. It's located in a quiet part of a usually busy city so you're not going to hear traffic buzzing past your windows. Checking in was easy and the staff were super polite and friendly. The rooms are big, bright and clean and I liked the set up of the bathroom. In Manila there is lots of cheaper hotels but the quality is much lower, I've stayed in a few over the years and this place is the most comfortable for the amount you pay. The hotel is really easy to find provided you do 2 minutes of research before getting there to avoid any problems with taxi drivers as it is a new hotel , I just showed the driver the location on my phone and he found it no problem at all. I have already booked my stay for my next visit. It's also a 5 minute walk from powerplant mall so finding somewhere to eat is easy.

Very comfortable family hotel. Nice rooms with a perfect clean bathroom and comfortable bed.
Staff is super friendly, I even got a tour around the area when I arrived.
If you want a nice, cozy and small place to stay, this is the one.

Makati is a nice and safe area, as a single woman I walked around at night and had no trouble at all.

My girlfriend and I have stayed at the Makati Riverside Inn twice now and have absolutely loved it. The Inn is located in a local area of Makati, away from the red light district. It is quiet with beautiful views of the river. Additionally, it is walking distance from Power Plant Mall, the nicest mall in Makati and in my opinion, Metro Manila. The owners and managers here are warm and friendly and treated me with the utmost respect. They did everything in their power to ensure my stay was as comfortable and positive as possible. The rooms and beds were clean and showers were great. I would recommend this guesthouse to anyone staying here or coming to Manila. Two thumbs up!
