Location is very close to the shopping, banks, offices and dining of Makati. The hotel is a bit tired and dark looking in the common areas which detracts from the overall experience there. However the rooms generally are large and relatively well equipped and bright . We have stayed there many times, which in itself speaks volumes, and usually have felt its an excellent value for money. There is a Php2000 refundable deposit upon check in which seems a bit amateurish, but never experiences any issues in getting it back . Best to pay that in cash as the card deposit can take a while to refund it seems. Staff are friendly and helpful. Some of the photos on the above website must have been taken with a very wide angle lens as the lobby and dining room are much smaller and darker…
Overall stay was OK, really didn't use all the facilities there, the hotel is starting to show it's age a little, the white hall ways are starting to get a bit scuffed up with all the traffic through the years.
Fifty years ago, the Prince Plaza II must have been an elegant place. Some of that is still evident in skylights, tilework, elevators and an occasional panel. These days, however, the Prince Plaza II is just a big, dowdy, affordably priced hotel in Manila's swankiest sector. A staff member confirmed our guess that the roughly 400 units in the PP II have been condo-ized -- that is, they've been sold to investors; hotel management sees to their rental and maintenance (such as it is). Our room for two nights (#1807) was bright and comfortable. The included breakfast, served in a biggish top floor room, was OK. A rooftop pool was clean and clear. The staff was mostly eager to please.
I booked 1night stay last Dec 12 and Dec 18, 2019 because my work required me to extend long hours. Though, away from home, this hotel managed to make my stay very relaxing, comfortable and enjoyable. It isn’t pricey but the accommodation is top notch. Rooms are sparking clean and neat.
First the positives: great location right next to Greenbelt in Makati. Very affordable accommodation considering the central location. Then the negatives: the property is dated and old, and although kept clean, still doesn't look nearly as good as the photos on the booking sites. With 25 floors, the wait for the lift can be quite long, and apparently many units are residential as well. There is an automated message in the lifts that apologises for the long wait. The cable didn't work properly so only a few English-speaking channels were available. I asked several times for this to be fixed but nothing happened during the 4 days I stayed. One morning I was asked what time I wanted cleaning, and by the time I came back from lunch, it still had not been done. If you call…
This is my second time staying here, and have had a great experience both times. The staff are friendly and very responsive. The location is awesome and I think Prince Plaza II is a great value for the money. They also have some different selections on the breakfast buffet every morning, so we really enjoy the breakfast there.
This place is perfect for our family! Great Location and Staff! Value for money and cleanliness is okay. We always enjoy our time at Prince Plaza II! We have checked-in 3x last November and we will definitely come back!
Internet is not working, towels are stinky and old, breakfast is average, no pool for kids, lounge is too crowded, no parking, parking nearby cost 1k overnight. Room couch is too old, ac in the living room does not suffice the whole room, rest room is alao stinky. Will never go back
They were so accommodating. Staff are nice and helpful. I had some complaints with my room but they were addressed promptly so I'm giving them a thumbs up for that. I has stayed 3 times in this hotel and I will still come back.
The post said free breakfast but we were told that there was no breakfast included. Coffee was available only on the first morning (we stayed 4 days). There was no cutlery so best to bring your own or get take away. There was a stove but only a water kettle was provided so one cannot cook even a simple breakfast. We were on the 21st floor and were worried because balcony door did not have a lock and there were cleaners outside cleaning the window. We did not lose anything, except we were worried during the 4 days of our stay here when we were out.
