The condo hotel has a great location near shopping & business district. The condotel itself is old and tired looking. The room was basic, clean, functional but the towels were old & worn. Thankfully the AC & fridge worked well. As in all hotels I’ve been too in the Philippines, the staff was courteous, friendly & helpful. There’s visible security staff always present at the small lobby which I thought was unusual for a no frills condotel. Overall, I would recommend Princess Plaza as a good value if you’re looking for a no-frills, functional room close to the shopping centers.

It is a self-serviced apartment - conveniently located in the heart of the city of Makati where all the shopping malls, museum, cafes, restaurants are within walking distance.
Good service by the assigned staff especially the housekeeping team assigned to my room.
Staff are efficient, friendly, polite and very accommodating to your wish if they can make it happen.

I will stay again in the future! Thank you :-)

Just cane back from overseas assignment so my brothers stayed here for drinks in our room. Very comfy. We stayed in the farthest room on the 2nd and 3rd floors. We had a nice catching up with our single malts, pork bbq/roasted chicken from nearby Andoks after dinner from Davids Tea House. Subway breakfast nearby. Staff are courteous.

I don't usually write reviews or feedback regardless of how bad my experience was.. If it's good I'll gladly send a good feedback. However this experience I want everyone to know. I'm a BPO employee and amidst this Covid 19 crisis I continue to work to support my family and my company supported us by paying our accommodation in this hotel, and never have I thought that I will be insulted and threatened in this place. A tenant who lived there was cursing me for working in the BPO and was asking "why are you here?" Don't you have your own house?" and she said call centers are violating the ECQ by continuing to work and government should order a shoot to kill for all of them. This all happened in front of the hotel employee who was just camly watching us. Great service, yay! And when I reported I was told she's a tenant here just ignore her hindi naman sya nananakit 😐
Really??!
So if anyone of you wants to stay in this hotel, I won't stop you just avoid the room 2001 where that crazy woman is living.

This host named Jam in Prince Plaza 2 in Makati, Philippines. To say this airbnb is unclean is an understatement. First, I requested towels as we had 2 old yellow, extremely rough thin towels. I get a response of what are you doing there in the room. Mind you, i had paid a fee for early check in. I had to remind her that i paid for early check in. She proceeded to tell me to relax. You say that to dismiss someone. I had to request a garbage can for the kitchen as none was provided.

I've never dealt with someone in the Philippines this rude. When a negative comment has been left about the room, she writes an extremely condescending rebuttal.

Jam calls this guest a black karen and to not host her or anyone that has left her a bad review. Her rebuttals say Karen quite a lot. I'm shocked that Airbnb would allow this sort of comment and then say they won't do anything unless the guest says something. There are lots of scathing rebuttals to her reviews. Shame on Airbnb. The place is dirty. Hostels are even cleaner. Read thru all her reviews on Airbnb.

Pretty good, especially for the price.
Great service.
Rooms are good. I slept well. Great water pressure and warm enough in the shower.
Breakfast buffet isn't worth paying extra for.
Having the pool is nice, though it's a little chilly.

It’s a bit lengthy, but worth all the detail! Don’t let the nice pictures fool you! This is my first review ever and wanted to share my horrible experience with you.

My family and I were returning guests (2nd time booking here) set to stay for 17 nights. We really loved the location as it was walking distance to Greenbelt, Landmark, Glorietta, SM Ayala, and a few other locations. Big mistake! From the time we checked-in, all we had was problem after problem.

The 2 rooms that were assigned to us were not what we booked and paid for ahead of time. They only had 2 rooms both with "1" queen bed for 3 people, which we needed one queen and one single for each room. They expected us to be okay with this and keep in mind we are all adults. The only option was to place an old, uncomfortable foldable bed that could barely fit in each room leaving no space to walk around. Yet they were expecting us to pay for the additional bed although they could not accommodate us in any other way with the room situation. To top it off, we called 3x to follow-up on the extra bed, which they did not bring up until almost 1AM! The next day we all had to inconveniently move to another room as a few finally opened up, but again were not as promised. We had to move a 3rd time and finally found a room that suited our needs at least we thought it did.

Please keep in mind ALL the experiences I am sharing have been reported to the front desk, but sense of urgency or resolving the issue is not their priority.

In our new room, it looked decent until all the little issues we were encountering started arising. In the bathroom they have a towel rack. I am a short person so I have to pull one side of the towel to slip off the rack, but instead one side of the rack came swinging down towards my head! When I tried to place it back up, I realized there was no screw to even hold it in place! So I reported the incident to the front desk to have them secure it. Our microwave was not working and didn't know why at the time, but requested to have it changed twice and was never resolved. I went down to the front desk to personally ask a 3rd time, because we found out that the wires on the plug were taped up and you have to wiggle it hoping it would work. Still it was not replaced. We noticed that the comforters were not changed out as you can tell by the stains on the pictures, which looked like it had been there for a while. One of them looked like it had period stains from the previous guest! It was so disgusting and questioned the cleanliness. So I looked under the bed and found cobwebs, a thick blanket of dust, crumbs, and left over snacks. There was a piece of M&M that was under the table for a good week. I don't think they've swept in weeks! Makes you think, do they even clean at all? And making the bed does not count.

After getting the rooms cleaned, there were stains on the new towels that they replaced. In the morning my husband called to get two towels and gave the stained one in exchange for them. He explained we needed an extra one as only two were originally placed since there were 3 of us staying in the room. The housekeeping attendant was not listening or probably could not understand what my husband was saying. Even with that, the housekeeper made his way to the bathroom to try and retrieve the other towel only to find out I was on the toilet! He came in uninvited and invaded my privacy! As a young woman I felt violated and they did not do anything to correct this or did not feel like they wanted to fix the issue.

After that we hung a Do Not Disturb sign on the door in the morning and throughout most of the afternoon that same day with the privacy invasion. I came back to the condo towards the evening to make the complaint, replace the microwave, and requested the room be cleaned as we will be out for dinner. Before we left the condotel, we went up to secure our belongings, removed the door sign, and spoke to front desk over the phone to let them know we were ready to have it cleaned.

After a long night, we came back to a room full of smoke! Literally a few seconds after we entered, the housekeeper for the night came in to see what was going on as their room was right across ours. We noticed the room was made as requested and both burners were left on High with our luggage right next to it! The sprinklers didn't even go on! We packed up our things moved to another room, but told our family we were leaving and moving to a real hotel as we no longer felt safe! Our family felt like someone was trying to hurt us so we did not stay there the entire time as planned!

There was no manager or supervisor on duty during the evening shift and they had to call the Assistant Executive House Keeper to talk to me over the phone. We were scheduled to discuss all of our concerns at 10:00AM, but did not come in until 11:00AM. It took the front desk manager 30-40 minutes after contacting her to come down to talk to us. Lastly, we spoke to the Director of Rooms, who was not help at all. He did not have any empathy and showed any concern about how we felt as guests and gave attitude, no options, no solutions, and did not want to take care of us! He had this look like he did not want to come down from his office to talk to us in person and just wanted to handle it over the phone. With privacy invasion, liability issues, poor cleanliness, poor management, and no concern about the smoky room or safety of our family or other guests who could have been harmed, nothing was resolved. The Director just expected us to be okay with all of that and said "I'm sorry there's nothing I can do." The best thing that ever happened was packing up and leaving!

My husband and I stayed at the Prince Plaza II Condotel for 3 nights in Jan. 2006 and will never stay there again. The only PLUS is location: it's right across from the Green Belt shopping/restaurants complex. Our complaints are: (1) They have no real 'security' checks (which are commonly done in almost all hotels and shopping malls)...though there were 2 or 3 security staff at the entrance, they did NOT actually pay attention to anyone coming in and going up the elevators where the guest rooms are. (2) Our bed linens did not look too clean and the kitchenette counter/wall had mini-cockroaches crawling everyday (my husband tried to 'manually' get rid of them).

We came to the Philippines this summer for 18 days all booked at Prince Plaza 2, since my sister had stayed here before she recommended we book it for the whole family this vacation...big mistake. Here are several issues I had with this hotel. This is my honest review.

1.Dirty Rooms
- Get ready to be moved to multiple rooms till you find one that is decent...
- Floors so dirty your socks or feet will turn black after a few passes across the room.
- Towels and bed sheets dirty, i really think they just fix the bed and don't change the sheets.
- Towels were whitish/brownish/grayish...a combination of em, one of my towels looked like there was dried blood on it.
Request to change towels takes forever. Requested to have our towels changed one day, went shopping all day and came back at night, still same towels hanging in bathroom.
- Shower never has hot water for more than 2 mins. Saw something that looked like dried pee on the toilet like where your calves are when you sit, on our first night.
- Microwave didn't work and wasn't replaced after requesting 3 times.

2. Housekeeping just invited themselves into our room
- We requested towels from a passing housekeeper outside our room, he walks into the room and opens the bathroom door while my sister is using the toilet for idk what reason...totally unacceptable!

3. Burners left on in room upon return from shopping
- After many complaints about the room, we came home after shopping around 11pm and found our room filled with thick smoke! No supervisor or manager available at all to see what had happened. Staff seems to be very unaware of the potential danger that one of their staff had put us and the hotel under. Felt very unsafe after this and decided to move to another hotel the next day. Hotel did move us to another room for the night, they let us choose from 2 rooms and one was in very poor shape, idk why they didn't just give us the better of the two rooms.

Was able to contact housekeeping manager on the phone and said he would meet us the next morning at 10am...he came at 11am...very professional. When he talked to us he thought we had problems using the burner, we explained to him that one of his staff had cleaned our room and left burners on potentially endangering the entire building and said he would investigate thats it...

4. Very poor staff and customer service
- The staff here really does have an us against them attitude. When confronting the front desk manager about what had happened when we came back to a room with burners left on high, all she could tell us was that it is not very common for that to happen and if we were happy with the room they switched us to...We requested for a full refund, after all the complaints listed above...was very difficult, front desk spent more time typing stuff on the computer than listening to what we had to say. Was only able to be refunded the night of the burner incident and was not charged for the rest of what was booked...this was after 2 hours of waiting for management to show up and expressing our safety concerns with this hotel. Had to go to the highest management position in the building..the Director of Rooms.

5. Director yelled at us and treated us like we were liars
- We spoke to Edward and while explaining the burner incident and demanding a refund, he cuts me off and yells at me telling me that this never happens at the hotel. I was very upset because he gave us this look and smirk and i read his body language that just showed he thought we were making all this up or did it ourselves, even after explaining that there could have been a potential fire in his hotel that would have endangered his guests, he simply replies that he can only refund us for last night...i really feel we and the situation was not taken seriously and that they were only worried about having to refund us.

6. Spraying bugspray all over the lobby
- After we checked out of this place, there were workers spraying bug spray on the ceilings to kill these pinto bean sized flies...no warnings to guests goin in or out of the hotel and you could see the droplets falling to the ground, so everyone is just passing by inhaling pesticides. Another safety/health issue i would think.

Good points about this place
- Security does a very good job of patrolling and making sure strangers dont enter the hotel.
- It's location is very good, great in fact since it is not too far away from the hospital, there's greenbelt mall, glorietta, landmark and sm that all connect to each other. The location in makati also makes is easy to travel to shopping areas such as greenhills, market market and divisoria.

Suggestions
- I recommend that the entire staff be retrained in customer service, maybe read reviews and watch videos of how higher rated hotels are doing. Think of solutions for the situation and work to please your guests and don't argue so much, watch attitude.
- If you are the person in charge of the entire operations of the building, NEVER yell at your guests, especially if its something very serious that they are bringing to your attention. Watch your body language because people can pick up on it. Don't look at them like they're liars.
- Remember that you are in the hospitality business where your customers expect great service especially vacationers.

Final Word
I like everyone else who goes vacationing in the summer, work very hard for my money and endure much stress during the year. I like my vacations to be smooth and stress free especially when it comes to where i stay during my visit. When i stay at a hotel, i like to know that I'm getting my money's worth, and that I'm welcomed. I did not get any of that here, I feel that I really did not get my money's worth and certainly did not feel welcomed or appreciated that my family chose to stay at this hotel during our visit to the Philippines. I really felt that they just wanted my money.

I would not stay here again even if they offered to put me up in their penthouse or offered me free nights. Everything about this hotel, aside from the guards, needs serious work and a crash course in guest hospitality. The overall operations manager needs to take a look the hotel and see how their guests are being treated.

Yes they have basement parking and charge php 300 per day. But if thats full there are other public carparks that charge Php 300 overnight. Yes it is near Shangrila hotel...5 mins walk ( without high heels) 😊

Honestly I don't see car parking in front of the hotel; only waiting cars. Perhaps you need to park somewhere else and you can definitely check with the reception; they are helpful.

So far, the rooms I've booked were non-smoking. There's an open garden on the 1st floor where I saw a few people smoking (not sure if it's allowed by the hotel). To be sure, you'll need to ask the staff where they are more than happy to help.
