It is a perfect location in Makati, it is quite a short ride from the airport. The rooms are large, breakfast is delivered to your room. he hotel as a whole needs some refurbishment, the facilities are quite old and worn, there is some smell in the hallways. The reception area is at the second floor and every time you need to go there and leave/pick up your key, in addition the reception area is at the parking place.
Basic room accommodation. 2 lifts/elevators in the building and only 1 working after 10pm. Aircon not strong enough to cool the whole room after a couple of hours. They charge one hundred pesos if you leave a single luggage per day even if youre coming back in a couple of days to check in.
Its definitely somewhere you could crash for just a night after malling at GB. Sheets were quite overused, you could tell with the fabric discoloration, white with patches of faint brown spot stains. Also, you'd have a hard time with the bright led light/pilot light from the AC thats so high you couldnt even cover it with anything so you're room could be pitch dark for deep sleep. Towels were also with a funky smell. You could tell from the start with the elevator taking you to the frontdesk on a different floor is quite ominous. Staff is friendly, so its a 3 atleast for me.
it has the location advantage. it is an old condominium and may need some refurbishing here and there. nonetheless, it is still able to maintain its cleanliness. The staff members are very helpful, polite and accommodating. They respond to your requests quite quickly as well.
The good thing is the location. Close to everything. There’s a convenience store down the building. A 2-minute walk to Greenbelt. There’s a fridge, microwave and stove. Wifi was good and the room is big enough. But the unit itself is old, needs a lot of upgrading. Bedsheets, linen and towels need to be changed. They are so old, stained and looked like were never replaced since they started renting out the room. Worst part was the bedbugs, we got bites all over! Furnitures are outdated. We requested an iron and there was a charge. The reception was on the 2nd floor and had to walk through a parking area to reach them. Their greeting was a 2,000 pesos security deposit and won’t check us in without paying. We were tired from our flight and had no more cash in our hands, we asked if we can get our luggages up to the room first, refresh a bit then we can go out to draw money from the atm for the deposit, but was denied of this simple request. Very bad stay. Securing a 2,000 pesos deposit as if they have the grandest furnitures and equipments in the room. Maybe everything in the room won’t even reach 2,000 pesos worth. We should charge them for all the bedbug bites we got…
The only positive thing about this place is its location. The rest of it is all negative points. Cheap management: I understand some properties need safety deposit, that is a common practice in some places of the world. But denying the guest; who jst arrived from a long flight; from reaching to the room to get a breath, is considered cheap and out of the hospitality rules... I needed an iron; the room doesnt have one. After enquiry: i have to rent it!! Php 250/- (another cheap practice) The room doesnt have tissue papers... Old bed. Noisy bed. When u move your partner wakes up. Bed bugs bite you hard... itchy spots everywhere in your body! If you are still going to book there, GOODLUCK!!
The room is spacious enough for one person (I'm on business trip). It has a 2-seater dining table, cooking area with hood, and nice shower. The room also has a safe to keep your valuables, cabinet to store your luggage and free soap/shampoo as well.
Breakfast no other options for vegetarian or Muslim who doesn't eat halal meat. They could have send their guests to Prince Mansion for breakfast for other option instead. They charge extra payment for towel and pillows which for me is unnecessary. Location and big room is great. Wifi is poor!
Very good location , close to the Ayala Museum and all the malls, specially Greenbelt Mall. Also many restaurants around and the MRT station. The reception is on the 2nd floor and they have diferent apartments. They charge a deposit but can be dollars or euros insted of pesos. Bad point: NO Wifi.
Pros - Good location, friendly staff, not to expensive, clean units, good aircon. Cons - Didn't really find any, I had a great stay there at not to expensive a price... Ok maybe lift was a little slow...
