We feel very welcome upon arriving. Nice scenery from the roof top (extended view on Rockwell Business District). The cleanliness of the room is very good especially for a hostel. I plan to go back at Awesome Hostel definitely. The location is convenient since its walking distance to Bonifacio Global City and close to Rockwell and Makati Business District.

Staying at Our Awesome Hostel is truly an awesome experience. A true taste of Filipino hospitality is cultivated by the owners who are truly hands-on and well-travelled. The view is beautiful a mix of the Makati skyline and Bonifacio High. The hostel is nestled between EDSA, the main road and Bonifacio High, the entertainment hub. Its truly accessible. The bed is clean and the rates are reasonable. I will definitely be back!

Where in Metro Manila can you find an affordable place and yet still have the best value for service? Situated in the new business hub THE FORT and Makati City CBD, everything is within reach.

The hostel is just new, so expect its still clean. :). Also the staff are very cheerful and heartwarming. Also, owners are hands-on, yuppies who really love people and know what they do best, parteyyyy!!! Happy to stay here. :)

Will definitely come back again and refer to my friends.

What I love about this hostel is its rooftop. Friends and your group can hang out there and stay until late, finishing up booze you got from 7-11 at The Fort. It's a bit hard to find. Taxis don't know it particularly, it's entrance is under a fly-over although I managed to look for it when I chose to just drop off from the taxi ultimately. It's on a condominium building and they occupy most floors (or they occupy the whole?). Good comfortable mattress, not the best, but good for an overnight sleep. You won't be at your bunk the whole day anyway, but you're going somewhere on the day. The only thing is, the only friendly staff there is Jane at the reception, and the cook/ chef woman at the rooftop. The rest, the guy and the young girl are sometimes rude. The girl at 11 midnight came in suddenly to our room showing a guest who just came in, when some are asleep in our 10-br room, some are talking, some are browsing online... she just came in without even knocking and her voice in a yelling level (or is that her natural?) without even saying, excuse me or some hush hush because the other guests might be disturbed. The guy who even looks the owner is less interested. I approached the reception and he just even stared at me (are they trained to say, good evening sir, good day maam...) and nodded with my questions about how to go to The Fort, no hint of smile. Even the two guy and girl cleaners are so rude. They just open the door at rooms without even knocking and maybe say they are cleaning? what if someone is changing clothes inside when they open the door? They don't even know how to greet guests when I was with them at the lift/elevator and kept chatting with loud voices, no sign of courtesy. They really need to conduct a seminar or training to their staff. Is hospitality business' main focus is service and warmth? And bathrooms are not regularly cleaned, no toilet paper. Anyway, hats off to Jane, very friendly and very helpful and the cook who went beyond her duties and always so patient when we kept on disturbing her for her hot water for tea. Lovely place though. Lovely sunloungers.

I got what I paid. My reservation was made a month before my family's departure to Manila. A night before, I made sure that there was an accomodation for my family. Group of 10- 15 people. It was assured by the reception that indeed 2 rooms were reserved for my family. I paid the amount that was requested prior to departure.
Below were my frustrations:
1. I was told that the remaining balance is payable upon arrival in cash. Per front desk, they don't accept credit cards. But hotel.com gave me a different info regarding payments.
2. When we arrived to this particular hotel, my instict told me that I made a big mistake by patronizing this place. At the very main door , the guard was sleeping . The upper level was worst. The security guard was sleeping and snoring. My sister and I had to wake him up. He did not even have the courtesy to ask if we needed any help.
3. The nightmare , started when I was told that the hotel was overbooked that the only way we can be accomodated if were willing to share rooms with total strangers!!!! This is the complete opposite of what I was promised. When I disputed the proposal, the reception then advised me that my family can wait at the terrace until noon if we were not willing to share rooms .I was desperate enough so , I started considering the proposal but when I checked the terrace, there were foreigners with local women DRUNK as early as 6:00 AM. There's no way , that I am going to allow my all american teenage daughter and my immidiate family members to share rooms with strangers and worst, with drunk fellows.

There are very, very few hostels in Manila, leaving young travelers and backpackers strapped for options. Enter Our Awesome Hostel and look no further. Just a stone-throw away from the cosmopolitan heart of Fort and Makati where you'll find everything, and I mean everything (shopping, bars, restaurants, museums, business, malls, spas), OAH is a spotless and affordable accommodation offering comfortable dorms that are of fair quality in every way.

Other than the location, clean spaces, friendly staff and good rates, the best part about the place is really the vibe and getting to meet people from all over the world. I happened to stay here on a Friday night when a bash was taking place on the roofdeck and all the guests were invited to drink some beers and wine with the very outgoing owners and their array of local/foreign friends.

I always say that one of the best things about the Philippines is the people's warmth and openness to making new friends. Get a taste of what that means when you stay at Our Awesome Hostel. The owners really take pride in their hostel and they organize other activities to reach out and help guests enjoy Manila the best way possible.

Very very nice Hostel. The owner's make you feel that you're personally taken care of. I must say that there's nothing like it yet in Manila. Conveniently located in between Makati and the Fort, the location allows you to see Modern Manila in a day. I highly recommend this for visiting tourists.

This hostel is strategically located in Fort, Makati and Rockwell. It comes with a splendid view of the city, a roof top to enjoy the tropical weather, friendly staff and good security. Parking is available if one wants to take some friends over to the roof top. The best Pubs and Clubs in the city are a few minutes walk. The best rated restaurants are also located nearby. Whether you fancy having japanese, Mexican, Spanish, Filipino, Thai cuisine, the location has it all! Taxis are easily accessible as well as shopping centres.

Our Awesome Hostel is the solely recommended hostel in the Bonifacio Global City Area. It has well-maintained and clean rooms. The staffs are very accommodating too. The location is also accessible - many taxis traverse through the street of the hostel and it is very near the MRT Buendia Station. The commercial places in the Bonifacio Global City area is also walkable from the hostel. It is near restaurants, bars, and malls. If you want to chill and relax after a long day tour, you can lounge at the hostel's rooftop and enjoy the nice view of Metro Manila skyline. :)
