Booked via Agoda and had a mix up but they accomodated us and easy check in. I noticed that last review here in TA was dated 2018, Booked a 4 bed dorm, but due to mix up, they settled us in the 10 bed dorm.. so pros: the location, its jst 3 blocks away from BGC. Can walk but you should be aware how side walks in Philippines are. Helpful and friendly staff. Fast free wifi. Cons: Its an old hostel. Rooms are kept clean but furnitures, fixtures are old. Could be better if they also kept clean the rooftop coz cigarette butts all in the plant boxes. Some sofas need refurbishing. Just a major refurbishing and this hostel is promising. The hostel is shared between some offices below. Lobby and counter is on the 10th floor.

I woke up the morning of with 6 bites on my back. Hoping it was a misquote, I went back and searched the bed I had just slept in. When I pulled back the fitted sheet and the mattress cover, I found a burnt red spot, the kind they warn you about online, and there were droppings all in the seams of the mattress. When I lifted the mattress, I found a dead bed bug.

My first time for visiting Philippines, as a unfamiliar destination, the host offered me lots of helpful info in Manila when I checked in. By the way, the hostel located on the roof, with perfect top view toward Makati Center City, and plus good location that nearby urban area. Anyway unforgettable :)

The staff are very friendly and helpful they helped me and my friend get an uber ride to BGC. Rooftop was a plus nice view of the city at night. Price is quite cheap. Rooms were simple yet spacious and comfortable. Family good for 8 was practical for us.

We stayed there for 3 nights from December 27-30 I think, just last year and there were 9 of us including an infant. We booked the whole room(10 persons, mixed). I specially requested it be a smoke free (as my sister has as asthma and of course we have a baby) and at least to provide us as extension if the outlets are few and far(this is how I take reviews of other people seriously, lol). Anyways, the staff was very accommodating, all beds have their bedside lamp, a mini shelf and an outlet(so great!),and the room has a locker cabinet(this is aside from the what's listed on the room information you see when booking). Since we're not picky people, we had a great stay for first timers in staying at a budget hotel. Here goes some suggestion/observations/tips?(however you view it as) It's true that the front desk was located at 10th floor and the elevator only reaches 9th floor so you have bring all your bags until 9th floor, leave it there if you have a company, then climb the stairs until 10th. Which is no effort at all, unless you can't really climb a stair. And by the way, the elevator is safe and new. The room we stayed at was able to fit all of us, with the beds, the cabinets, our bags. But it was a little tight fit. The air conditioning was alright. Though I suggest you bring your own blanket because theirs was really thin. And for the hotel, I suggest that you replace the aircon itself or its switches because they are broken so we couldn't adjust it. The ceiling of the CR also needs some replacement/repainting, as it shows water damage and stuff. That's it. BTW, the view on the rooftop is beautiful, you see high rise buildings on one side, simple houses and nature on the other. Moreover, it wasn't as noisy as we expected so we had a well rested stay!

We visited last October 13, 2016. There were 4 of us and we rented out the entire dorm room. The place was not easy to find, we weren't able to notice the sign. So just a heads up, when your cab turns right from EDSA its 10 to 15 meters after the turn. I would agree with Slazenger552, I booked the hotel as I thought it was walking distance to BGC. Other people did say it was, but I find it confusing. I mean the pictures on their page looked great. My friends weren't that impressed though. Their A/C needs some fixing as well. The staff was very helpful though, the guy in the front desk helped us out on what we can do and what the area can offer. Overall I'd rate it an average, most backpackers would love the place. Other guest will just complain. Will I stay here again? hmmm.. prolly not.

This place is located near The Global City and is centrally located. However, it's far from restaurants and there's just one convenience store (Mini Stop) few meters away, where we eat breakfast more often. The elevator is up to the 9th floor only, and the front desk is located at the 10th floor, so we carried our heavy luggage up to check in. Frustratingly, we were given a room at the 7th floor, so we carried our luggage again to the 9th floor then took an elevator. No wonder in their ad, they never state what floor it is located, and just the address. The room is ok, but there's no reading light in each bed. The door knob in our room is defective and if somebody opens it with force, it can be opened. It's not safe at all. I had cough during my stay and I was soooo frustrated that even a drinking water they don't have. I asked the receptionist if they sell bottled water and there's none. I asked for a free tap water and there's none. Only softdrinks and energy drinks are available for sale. There's no wifi in the room. You need to go up to the 10th floor. I cannot recommend this hostel to all.

We were assigned to bed without electricity outlets whereas other beds in the same room all have outlets! How come we paid the same price but we cannot use the electricity for charging on the bed...!! Also the restroom was smelly all the time and no staff on the dorm rooms floor...i saw some strangers just took elevator and walked on this floor. The guy at the reception always with NO smile and look very tired at his job...dont feel friendly at all! The good thing might be the mattress is comfort for sleep and the rooftop view is really awesome.
