We booked Zen room. They have different names somehow. We had a great room, super WiFi connection and everything was clean. The stuff was really helpful and friendly. Thanks for everybody. We would come again.

The place is okay.. My only problem is the signal inside the room and the bathroom. It was so small.. I don't even know how i manage to take a bath. I can't really move. Hahaha.. But overall .. It was great if you are on a budget!

The rooms are small, but nice and cozy. It has a nice big comfy bed, Flat screen TV, a desk, a few cabinets, a safety deposit box, and free wifi (with a poor connection). The bathroom is very small. You might feel a little claustrophobic inside, and there is no exhaust fan as well. The bathroom has a small window which directly opens to the lobby hallway. And the very downside of my stay here was that, there is no network signal for both Globe, Smart and SUN inside the room. totally no signal. No service, no network, even just one bar. So when you want to send a text or call, you have to go out on the streets. The inn is good for people who want to stay longer, for their set up is like a condo - apartment, and not a hotel type. The best thing is that its really cheap. A night costs 900 plus pesos, and its not bad for those on a tight budget, with a decent space and comfortable stay. The inn is located walking distance from Makati City Hall building 2. Another tip: Be sure to bring some cash when you check in, since they ask for a cash deposit (refundable) of 1,500 pesos. They don't accept credit deductions or temporary credit deposits in lieu of cash for the deposit.

Good value for money for double AC room with attached bathroom. The location is very convenient, you can basically walk to many landmarks from here. Paper-thin walls were the most annoying thing. Our flight out was late at night and it was possible to check out 8 PM for half the rate.

Ive stayed in their place last dec 27-30, 2015. Since im still working during the holidays and i find it an advantage for me coz they're near my workplace. In the evening when i got home from work ill just visit some nice place to eat since its also near the commercial area. Their place is accessible also and i rented a twin room and it has a kitchenette area which i can place the foods ive bought from outside if im too tired to loiter around. Looking forward to stay at their place again.

Excel Inn is close to Makati Town hall. it is a discreetly comfortable place. the staff are friendly but it's not a hotel with any room service as such. Unfortunately the condo rooms there have very bad phone and Wifi signals which are either very slow or drop out altogether at times. Ok if you don't need to contact anyone. One positive is that the area is a very safe area to walk around night and day with police and emergency services in the area. There is a ministop shop which is open 24/24.

I stayed at Excel Inn Makati and it wasn't a bad place. In a tucked away location but walking distance from malls and transportation. The rooms are well equipped with TV with cable and decent speed wifi. Rooms get very cold when they are closed. The only problem is the cell phone coverage in the building is not that great and it's a little small but all in all it wasn't a bad experience. Staff are really helpful and it's a nice place to stay if your on a budget.

If you are looking for a no frills place to visit Makati on a shoestring, this may be the place for you. The location is on a rather dodgy street, but fairly close to the flashy Makati malls. Rooms are smallish and a little crumpled but they're ok if you intend to spend all your waking hours out of the place. The personnel was welcoming. It's been an OK experience but I'd try something different next time I am in Makati.

The rooms are well equipped. The rooms have everything you need- TV, bed, table, chair, wardrobe etc but the quality of everything is not the best. The rooms are pretty cramped up. The service at the hotel is okay. Friendly staff. Internet keeps oscillating between extremes - either very good or it does not work.
