booked a room for 3 with 3 single beds online via agoda. After few mins agoda called me telling me that the room is not available. Instead they offer a family room with 2 double beds. I said its okay. As long as there are 2 beds. Ive been working with hospitality industry for 2 years now, so I know what is going on. My friends arrived and were given a standard room with extra mattress. I immediately talked to to the front desk asking what happend to the promise room. She just said “Sira po kasi yung AC” I said, sana sinabi mo sa agoda na sira pala yung room na ibibigay mo. If you just told agoda that there is no room to comfortably accomodate 3pax. Agoda can look for a a different hotel for me. Instead, you just let my friends arrive at the hotel and thinking na okay lang na ibigay sila sa ganung room with that kind of set up. So kung walang available na room, we will just settle with this type dahil late na, In fact I can call agoda tonight to transfer me to different hotel pero dahil may matanda na kasama we will just accept this kasi wala kaming choice. Next time, if alam mong hindi available yung room. Sabihin mo agad, because we are expecting what you promise. I will never book or refer this place to anyone.

I would say thank you amax inn for accommodating me. I gave 4 only because of the staff and room but the common washroom i will give “1” it is incredibly dirty. They should take action to those abuser chinese using female washroom when they are men, aside from that they are smoking in female washroom. That i need to call the front desk 4x to clean and remove the awful smell. They should implement and take action to NO SMOKING POLICY even if they are chinese they should be strict to that, so that the other tenant will not be irritate, upset to use the facilities.

This place was referred to us by my partner's colleague because of it's affordability and accessibility to their office in Makati. And they didn't failed our expectations. The room is spacious and clean, and the cr as well, and is equipped with the basic needs like intercom and electric heater. They also have a mini ref in the room with no additional charges. They also offer a buffet breakfast which is great and the food tastes good. And lastly, the staffs are polite and friendly. You could also hang out at the rooftop at night and watch the city lights.

AmaxInnII Makati is my ever reliable & affordable place to stay in when I fly to the PH & Makati. The staff are professional. Rooms & toilets are clean. I stayed in a single room with shared bath. Breakfast is great. It is accessible to affordable eating places & transport. They are flexible to changes when rooms are available of course.

For the amount, I paid, it was just right. I just needed a place to spend the night as I finished late and needed to come back in early the next day. The aircon unit was sufficient but a little noisy, not good for people who find it hard sleeping with buzzing sound. There is an airvent so you can actually hear movements outside the room but what bothered me most was the light in the hallway that comes in thru the vent and provides unnecessary light for sleeping. Whenever I changed position, the bed would make small movements which caused squeaking sounds on the floor. I wasn't able to get my free buffet breakfast because I had to leave before breakfast started at 630. I asked if there's an option for packed breakfast but there was none. It would have been great if this service was available even with extra charge for the packaging. Shower was sufficient, with hot and cold. The bath soap smelled nice. At night, the street where it is located closes which transforms it to an eating place. I think the food are affordable and within the budget of people who would book in this hotel. I guess it's a win-win. Plus, it is a short walk to public transportation: jeepneys along Pasong Tamo which can take one to MRT Magallanes Station and buses which can take one to Quezon City or to Baclaran. There's a small flat screen TV in the room but I never got to check if it was working because I checked in very late already and I only had time to sleep.
